XL2586X is 540hz + dyac 2 and I don’t think it’s out yet. I was on the fence between 2566K(360hz dyac +) and the 2546X (240hz + dyac 2)I decided to go with the 2546X. I was leaning more towards the newer dyac 2 vs the 360hz with last gen dyac.
@@m1kesoul hello im in the same boat. Considering what to get. Older gen 360hz or newer Dyac2 240hz? What did you pick and are you happy? any results or test you went through?
@@iNasteable ngl canceled the order and still haven’t made a decision. Primarily because i was and still am currently using the LG oled 240hz. The reason i want the 2546x is to have solid motion clarity. I’m just not sure if it going to be that much better than my lg oled 240. I also was considering the 2566k cause at least the 360hz would be a worthy upgrade. However to take advantage of dyac + on the 2566k, the game you are playing needs to be run at a stable and constant 360fps. Zowie also recommend that you run the 2566k in a single monitor setup to make it easier on your PC to achieve the frames. I don’t want to sacrifice my second monitor just to try and hit the 360fps. That’s kinda why I’m still leaning towards the 2546x. But again I’m not sure if switching from my current oled 240hz would be worth it
Nice review ! Can you tell me if the ZOWIE XL2546X has a matte anti-reflective coating on the screen to reduce reflected lights, like the ZOWIE XL2546K. Thanks
I 100% agree with you, this in 1440p would be *chefs kiss.* the benq EX270QM should do for now. prob my next pickup. im a frames/no ghosting/blur/nonsense snob and I think that may be the best option right now. curious on your thoughts
Do you consider 24.5 inches as small? I’m stuck between a 24.5 inch 360 hz monitor or a 27 inch 240 hz monitor. They are both the same exact price. Which do you think I should get?
For anything outside of competitive gaming yes I find it small. If I’m only doing comp gaming 24.5 is perfect. If anything else for productivity I’d want two side by side.
I think both are pretty sweet. Dyac2 is the real deal though. I was quite actually surprised by the difference. The 540hz version is out too now I believe

To be honest i bought a expensive alienware 240hz ips 1ms monitor. It just felt slower idk why. And playing in overdrive 1ms is just bad. I played with it for a year and switched back to the zowie and it feels way better and my aim was way more crisp.
You mean the new LG one etc? I just did a review couple days ago on that one, it's wildly awesome. Clarity wise it aint beating DYAC2 I don't think though.
If you have an Nvidia card go into control panel and turn on DSR to DL scaling 1.78x which is 1440p. You will now have 1440p resolution in game on a 1080p monitor. It looks pretty damn good.
Hey man, I hope u can help me. I need a fast monitor, I moving, and I need a small monitor, fast and comfortable for my XSX. I have a LG C1 48, is really fast and I believe, in the market right now, can’t find a monitor with the same response time on 120hz under 550USD, I think this and two models of Alienware IPS, but the DyAc 2 with 120hz in console, is worth it?
Of all the monitors I've tested I believe this is still the best monitor I've used when it comes to ghosting. I think the other closest equivalent is LG's 32" 4k OLED that has a 480hz 1080p mode.
If it only had 4k or 1440p res😢... 1080p looks so blurry compared to 4k :( I have the old Benq XL and the dyac is not bad but can't play at such a low res after playing in 4k+1440p for years...
need an insane PC to achieve those frames, even a lot of competitive games aren't optimized for those frames even with the best specs. I think they released it too early, hardware needs time to catch up. also more than a thousand dollars for a 1080p monitor is kind of absurd
Quick correction - the panel on the left at 3:28 is the FAST TN panel, not a VA. MY BAD
What is better OLED 480hz or BENQ 540hz ?

I appreciate it 🙏
Hey nice man, happy the review helped. It's a sick monitor. Game on!
i want to ask if model 144 hz is a good choise ?
240hz is the best
I'm far too lazy to switch monitors for different games. I need one for everything. Happy with my Asus PG27AQDM OLED
Putting anti-glare on a screen totally destroys the clarity. It should be a crime to do it.
Same, though I still keep my IPS for
Non-gaming/media consumption
yeah it's a bit lame swapping out nonstop - I'll be trying to set up a competitive specific setup separately at some point
