in my opinion ,you should heat the aluminium first, then press the cast iron inside...the size of the boring hole should be a little tighter so when it expands its still holding de cast iron in.Otherwise it will move because aluminium expand faster and greater than cast iron....
Without a step lip in top of aluminum bore and on sleeve will it drop eventually or not? On the brutes the do a step so it won't drop amd cylinder head keeps it locked in
Doing a single cylinder is pretty easy compared to doing a twin or inline four, you need a boring bar between centers in lathe and a way to set up block on carriage if you don't have a milling machine or dedicated boring bar.

you need to heat the cylinder - burner, boiling water.
Shorten that bar up mate stop that chatter.
Put the liner in the freezer
Or you could go buy a bigger engine for very little money. And some dial calipers.

Started at 56mm. Finished at 70mm. That is a lot of aluminum. I wonder what wall thickness remains ? Press or shrink fit steel sleeve ?
rough job. But what do you expect.......
What is the cc displacement of the cylinder after the enlargement?
What for head

Good job! Thank you for vid!
loctite 620 sleeve retaining compound is good for 200 deg cel works if its bored to spec on most smaller cc engines fine
