I haven't even started the video, but I'm guessing Feefo loved this project.
Edit: 0:49 LMFAOOO
IN YOUR LIFE LMFAOOO
Haaahahahaha
😂😂😂
Sand 😂😂😂😂😂
Checking this review cuz its a DEHH classic for Feefo's opinion 💀
What I got from this was Ken saying “I like porno”
"Gimme porno" -Feefo
Holy shit they actually did this album. Didn't think they would cause this album has been dropped for awhile. I love this project to death. Definitely one of the best releases, this dude is immensely talented.
Socal Steeze when I saw the Post Malone review I was like “oh no”... because I voted IDK on their poll. Hope we get Common also
I used to dislike the length (being a shorter album), but every time I get to listen to music, it’s usually in 30 minute blocks. I can listen to the album front to back & it sounds like one long song
Feefo came into this hype as fuck y'all just killed his vibe 😂😂😂😂
Did y’all catch that the last letter of the song titles spells out “U see 4 yourself...”
supaman8686 damnnnnnnnn 🤯
Wow, I didn't notice that
supaman8686 wow that’s crazy just peeped that shit
That just put it into another perspective
And what does this add to the album?
I think what Feefo was saying was that it hit him at the right time. When he was listening to this album he was also having a similiar crisis of faith in God and it spoke to him. Right place, right time, for this album for him.
This album is for people that are on the fence on the subject of God's existence. Which is where feefo is. What I know from Myke listening to the podcast is that he's thought long and hard on the existence of God and has come to the conclusion that the God of the bible isn't real. I can see what Feefo is saying about it not being preachy. A more militant atheist album would definitely turn someone off. When it comes to agnosticism or atheism, it is a subject that has to be eased into to grasp it since God is basically indoctrinated into most of us from the time we're born.
Thats exactly what he said in the top ten album of the year
4:32 THAT MOAN IN THE BACK LMAOOOOO
feefo went from the bumps in the whip meme to this really mature and insightful person.
So basically Feefo discovered agnosticism
I can definitely see someone that's on the fence on believing or not believing in God enjoying the album and getting something from it. As a person that grew up Christian, thoroughly read the bible, questioned it to it's core and has come to the conclusion that the god of the bible is just a story it doesn't hit the spot for me. The album feels like it's written by someone who's beginning to question which is not bad at all. It's just not ideal for me. I still love the project though and I definitely ain't mad with a dope ass rapper touching this subject.
@@EonSound yeah, I just wanted a little depth to it. Cuz that first track was a bold statement that needed some arguments behind it
IN YOUR LIFE?!?!?!
@Daniel Hill Bruh, I'm dying over here, lmao
They shut that down quick boy! lmao
@Daniel Hill He definitely did, lmao
The dialogue with Tyler was dope
Completely agree with Myke. I've been following IDK since 2016 when he was still Jay IDK, and it's obvious he is suuuper talented and intelligent. The beats and flows, etc. are amazing on this project. But I just feel like the concept is not fleshed out well. He could have done something great with it, especially with his history including his mother, but I feel like it fell short. There were a bunch of corny lines and a lot of the individual song concepts were too basic imo for the broad album's concept. Still like a 6 or 7 out of 10. Excited to see where he goes from here
Yeah. Feefo is on some shit
I remember Jay IDK as an opening act alongside A$ton Matthews. He always brought this energy to his music. I’ll give him his props for building a larger audience with a concept album.
How2BeANoob yeah I recently bumped this album up to a 7.
This is definitely a good album though but I agree on your flaws for this album slap
Porno had a banger beat.
hear me out... there is no concept.
Great review. Probably one of the best reviews I've seen in my life.

Bold statement
IN YOUR LIFE??
Personally I thought this was a solid project that showcases he has the potential to make something truly amazing in the future. Some of the motifs, themes, and track lengths could've been fleshed out more to fully push his ideas. So I totally agree with Myke here.
After watching this review, it just hit me. Hip hops next mainstream movement is headed in the direction of gospel type subjects and sounds. Should be interesting and honestly sounds refreshing. Looking forward to it.
Damn Feefo.. lol..way to start it off..
I'm with feefo on this one the way I grew up even questioning God got my a** whoop by the people around me..... so IDK hit home with me.....it was very refreshing to hear some one make great music about events in his life that was similar to mines which had me feeling almost the same way he did.....
I'm glad Feefo didn't ease up. Also C-Town cAME AROUND IN A COOL FASHION
I came back to this review a week later and dare I say this was one of the best reviews on DEHH.
Totally agree with Myke. I’m agnostic but the ways IDK delves into religion is very surface level. This is the kind of stuff I felt in my teens. He doesn’t tie anything together. The outro about colors and god was both weird to me and weirdly executed. Sonically I really loved the album so it’s really sad it didn’t go where I thought it could.
Gnosticism and agnosticism are about your KNOWLEDGE, while atheism and theism regard what you BELIEVE. You can be a gnostic atheist, gnostic theist, agnostic atheist or agnostic theist. Which one are you, if you don't mind me asking?
Yeah im surprised they didnt point out the comparison between seeing different colors and god because that really didn’t make much sense to me. Seemed like a stretch with pretty much no relation.
@@Z3Pete It is basically just saying there are many things we don't know so one of the things we don't know could be God
I think if you’re coming into this review as a non-religious person, you’ll feel it doesn’t do enough. However, if you’re even slightly religious, it could feel a lot more profound and curious. I’m more of the former, so I feel as you do, but I can see why Feefo feels how he does.
I can definitely see someone that's on the fence on believing or not believing in God enjoying the album and getting something from it. As a person that grew up Christian, thoroughly read the bible, questioned it to it's core and has come to the conclusion that the god of the bible is just a story, it doesn't hit the spot for me. The album feels like it's written by someone who's beginning to question which is not bad at all. It's just not ideal for me. I still love the project though and I definitely ain't mad with a dope ass rapper touching this subject.
Gotta love Mike c town being honest about the album but with that said this album is absolutely top notch and he's still underground it's a damn shame.
LETS GO! Was praying they’d review this album. Definitely one of the best of the year
This felt like just another idk album, short, concise, conceptual, pretty album artwork. I wish his projects were longer in order to present more depth because on a conceptual basis there is a LOT to explore
Surprised y'all reviewed this one. It didn't do a lot for me
So months later Im listening this album and some tracks are truly fire!!! Thanks DEHH love you guys!!
Im glad you guys reviewed this. One my fav albums this year. I hope you guys review his tour mate Kemba new album Gilda
Very interesting discussion. This my first time hearing about IDK. I’ll definitely give this a listen.
Saw him live tonight, sonically one of the best concerts I’ve went to in awhile
Great review! Im surprised you guys didn’t mention No Cable
Shout-out to kapri styles, one of the best entertainers of all-time
How dare you disrespect December I love that song
Hey Patrons 808’s and Heartbreak make it happen...
Become one
Yea join the patron gang!
We’d need a higher level patron to nominate it to even been on the polls for us lower guys to vote for it. Not in my budget rn but I’ll see what I can do since I think the usual question of “Is this even a classic yet” would be interesting to hear given the album’s place in hip hop.
But your dollar and vote would definitely help when the time comes 👍🏾
This is the best review I've ever seen in my life.
in your LIFE?
I think that if this album got y’all to discuss personal experiences and inner thoughts with each other, then it’s a dope album.
To all my fellow patreons! We need that 808s & Heartbreak classic review!!!!
As much as it might be a basic concept lots of rappers haven't done it and he was really speaking of experiences I've had myself and thought about so it hit close for me. Like Feefo it's great to finally have music that touches on these things.
also I'm an ex-religious athiest.
Liked the album 7/10. I do agree with myke that the theme should have been tied better especially if you can spit like IDK. overall great to always see different points of view dehh.
*Digital and Porno top 10 songs of 2019*
NG Monte might have to agree with this
Porno is really fuckin amazing
dysperisenjoyinghimself. Michael What TF > Porno
no they aren’t.
I just love you guys
We need that new Clipping review
It was pretty good, I wouldn't say it was as mind blowing as IDK says it is but I still think he's one of the best out right now. I really loved the ode to his mother a lot that really struck a chord. Especially that feeling of losing someone.
Tha Swami I keep thinking he’s capable of making a better project. After my first listen, I thought this was going to be it. Now, I come back to maybe 3 songs. I feel like he needs a collaborator that’s going to push him to his best because he’s been dancing the line of greatness for a little while now
Gotta love the enthusiasm
When he said it was one of the best albums he’s heard in his life I immediately subscribed
ABOUT DAMN TIME THEY DID THE REVIEW FOR AOTY!!!!!!
I know ya might not consider it, but can ya do a review on “There Existed An Addiction To Blood” by clipping. I know ya did not review them in like 5 years, but this album is more settle on the ears and it is still creative as hell. It is a horror movie with features from La Chat, Benny the Butcher, El Camino and more. To me, it is probably one of the best, if not, the best album of the year. And I am not judging off hype.
I honestly feel like he didn't make this whole album about religion, I think he related his life and his past to himself questioning religion. I don't think it was a missed opportunity because this is music people need to hear, compared to have the rap songs people listen to .
I agree with Mike hard body on his critique about the project
What did I miss man? What is Feefo going through in his life? Someone link me.
His grandmother and childhood friend died earlier this year, around the same time Nip passed.
@@georgiofekete812 That's unfortunate man. Thanks for filling me in. Keep your head up Feefo!
Yeah sometimes art hits you at just the right time in your life
Do you think that if the first track was removed, the album would be somewhat cohesive? Not sure but it's an album that loved though the concept was fiiiiiiiiiiine
wtf Feefo lol
I didn’t know WHAT to expect
You guys need to review ‘Complicate Your Life With Violence’ by Jeremiah Jae and L’Orange.
I felt like the album talked about sin. I feel like it could have been called SIN something around that. IDK in my opinion talked about the actions of the good and the wicked that affected his life.He seems to be caught between the two and this is explained in the album cover where he is standing between a sheep and a goat. The God aspect for me, I believe he is asking if his judgement is real. From the album we can tell he seems to be addressing how the wicked have gotten away with their action. Tracks like Micheal What TF and Juilia show how his stepfather gave his mom AIDS and chased his grandparent away from his house. On “Lilly”, IDK details the trappings of living a rich life, and the downsides of fame / money / women. He adlibs “Devil” throughout the song, likely alluding to the sins you commit from living an ignorant & lavish lifestyle. He seems to be literally “flirting” with the Devil throughout this track. "What's right and what's sinnin', who's lost and who's winnin' is one of the lines in the song European Skies. That the generally idea I am getting from the album. Going back to the intro I can safely say IDK is not talking about the afterlife but he seems to be addressing more on whether mankind will be judged one day. "And then you get in the back of the line and you start waiting and waiting and waiting
And then you wait some more, and more, and more, and more
And more, and more
Then you get closer, and closer, and closer
Until you're next in line
When it's finally your turn
You wake up from your dream because God's (judgement) isn't fucking real"
Great album tho!!
Yes 🙏🏿🙌🏿
Sheeet took y'all a while thanks anyway guys
IDK is like the parents from the South Park episode The Poor Kid
I gotta say some of the ideas he brings up and criticizes aren’t accurate. Masturbation wasn’t explicitly described as a sin, let alone considered as bad as murder lmao. I’d think IDK would know what he’s saying about a source before saying it but whatever
I was wondering if you guys going to review this album too. And I kinda figured it might be loosely religious based...I still fuck with this fav track Lilly
Feefo needs to really listen to Damn.
Please review THERE IS NO THREAT
Doubelieveingod by Natas is a great album that challenges religion.
I know it’d be fucking up the normal flow but I’d like to see Feefo go last. No disrespect to him but I don’t think he’s able to decipher albums the way the others can still. He’s gotten so much better tho I will add since the beginning. I feel like his thoughts on albums would be able to be more flushed out if he was able to hear everyone else’s opinions first. He’s always the one that gets questioned the most for his takes. So I feel like if he was able to hear everyone’s takes first he’s be able to shape his opinion a lot better.
Would it have been preachy like Hopsin?
Please review Nas Lost tapes 2!!!
i mean, even as a long-time heathen myself, i thought this was an exceptional album
I feel like there was a clear conclusion at the end... like he’s saying yes...he is real... I feel like that was very clear cut
The clear conclusion is "Maybe god is real". Did you even listen? lol
I want to say this is my AOTY, but the conclusion was we don’t know. I however didn’t want an answer, yes everyone questions god, but it’s so uncommon to see people just admit that they have no fucking clue.
I feel like certain subtles of the religious aspect of the album went overlooked. If you really break down the album you can see how the whole thing connects to the concept.
I disagreed with the album theme but I did enjoy the concept and sound of it Im cool with IDK thinking for himself and all black people to actually study religion and decide its for you or not.
I feel like he wanted this to be more accessible for a simple minded audience. If he pushed the concept too hard, as opposed to just sprinkle it in and loosely connect it, it would’ve turned a lot of mainstream heads off.
I actually thought they would’ve done gangstarr’s one of the best yet and the game’s born 2 rap album. Why why why😭😭😭
I thought December was good tbh
Has feefo heard The Truth by KRS-One???
What's the truth about KRS?
StutterinStan TheRenaissanceMan no it’s a song called The Truth by KRS
@@jasonnn247 oh okay. I'll check it out. KRS is one of favorite artist and speakers.
Myke on point, as always. Dunno what Feefo was smokin.
They gotta do there existed an addiction to blood
Myke C Town will eventually review the album on his own channel, wont be there cup of tea which is fine
I gave it at least 6 times fire but it doesn't connect throughout it. European skies is about it And a few of the skits.
Let put it to like this I listened to the singles, and some of the tracks before listening to the whole project, and I didn't feel any religious connections. I didn't even know he was talking about god until I heard the intro.
The point of the album title and theme is to be ambiguous, the listener is suppose to answer the question, he is just “guiding” you
No
Did anybody notice the last letter of each song spells u see 4 your self
The one thing that is a bit problematic (but ok because it's human) is when there are assumptions about the generalities placed on rap fans within some of the reviews.
Some times Myke, Ken, or Feefo will totally miss a concept or reference because they may not be aware, but I never personally never think that they are "basic" or "the average rap fan". I just think that we can all know all things. Myke doesn't know or catch many of the sports references, and Feefo my miss some of the metaphors but it is just because their specific lives are not inundated with these concepts, ideas, or events.
With that being the case reviews are extremely subjective and there exist no real standard review. I personally think "Eve" is extremely overblown as an album. That is coming from a Rapsody fan. At the same time I think Skyzoo is never broken down properly because his metaphors and skemes require a level of knowledge about some very specific events that are tied to New York, black film, historic events in the 90's, and sports.
With that being said, Myke has an ear that I like because it challenges me to dig, I like that Feefo grows in his ear every time, Ken is stubborn as hell in his personal bias but his ear is pretty solid for me.
They have the best review platform because they are boys, and they are honest with each other. You are getting honest reviews with depth, and contrasting rebuttals. Great job.
Wasn’t really feeling this one personally, a lot of the songs were kinda underdeveloped and felt unfinished. Porno is hard tho
Does he have to go that deep though?
So really the issue is the title then. Perhaps he should've just called it "God Help Me" or "life is hard". Something like that.
Expectations was the downfall in this album basically
Hosea 4:6
Definitely like his album was questioning if God is real considering everything he's seen growing and most importantly one of those things being the death of his mother from something that is out of anyone's control but God ideally.
It's a question of interpretation I guess.
The best album of 2019 so far
Is never too late to review the best album of the year El Capo Jim Jones U will thank me later
Literally Album of the Year in my opinion. No album has moved me like this in a long time.
0:53 I had the exact same face expression as Ken
Nah bro it ain’t as deep, I’m surprised feefo was mindblown by it.
It’s probably just one of the first albums he’s heard with this concept that isn’t preachy. When your surrounded by religion your whole life, I could understand why an album like this could leave an impact. Didn’t connect with me but I wouldn’t say Feefo was buggin
Wait excuse meeeee 👀👀👀👀👀
Mike was flexing his levels of atheism at the end there like a true fedora tipper
look @ Hopsin
on my side i'm glad he made it a loose concept, had it been literally about religion or challenging christian dogmas it would've made the whole project predictable. but as it is it comes off as a proverb
theres no question this concept fell short. the "how do we know if we see the same colors??!" skit was some 5th grade shit, and the skit with tyler was like 8th grade shit. if logic, chance or cole had those snippets wed be all over them
