    I cant express how in love i am with both terminators and gt500s 07-14. Some act like these are far inferior to 13-14 because they have alot less hp stock but its just more restricted stock once the same blowers both cars with similar supporting mods power is comparable and i am not a big fan of early s197 gts but for some reason the gt500 in that style is amazing to me its the little subtle things theyre just such sick cars....two things i like about the 5.4 or the 5.8 over.the coyote...
    1. It sounds way better and more pissed off
    2. It has way more torque by comparison. The 5.4 normally has aroumd 100 or more torque above what a coyote would have in a similar hp range. It has it further down low too so it has a more old school big block muscle type feeling. Nothing wrong with a coyote theyre amazing but these gt500s have my heart all around and the early ones like this can be had for low to middle 20s real clean with low miles i think im gonna get one when it comes time in a year or so. Love em

    The people that think its only 100hp gain shouldn't even be car enthusiasts if they don't understand how good that 100 hp would feel.. and it's not just 100hp gain its bringing torque up and producing it earlier and making that old 550hp that it used to have alot sooner so if it was making 550 hp at 550hp 5800rpm its now making the 550 at. 3500rpm and that means it would feel like a completely different beasts and be well worth that 4000 💪🏽

    • @michaelharris748
      @michaelharris748 4 года назад +1

      The whine itself is a sign of restriction so to speak so having a little less whine isnt a bad thing that means its more efficient. With that said if you pulley it down and have an open element filter and large intake, throttle body, etc there will be plenty of whine to be heard and they make a mod where you can pump in supercharger whine noise into the cabin where you can hear it better if thats what you want. I wouldn't choose blower upgrades or weather or not to do one based on how much whine it has lol.

    • @300zxdriver
      @300zxdriver 4 года назад

      Stock supercharger with smaller pulley and open element air filter gives best whine. Believe me I did that before going to bigger Vmp supercharger.

      @@americanmuscle Justin; I think there is a large silent section of the population who want to improve their car performance by reducing 300 or 400 pounds while maybe also adding another 100 hp. Not everyone thinks that a 3750 pound Mustang with 750 pounds is the best and most affordable option for the dollar..... So it is a question of does 3750lbs/750hp = 5.00 .... or ....3100lbs/600hp = 5.12 pounds per horsepower. Which option costs less? Which option will wear and tear less? American Muscle should investigate the ways and means of losing weight. Magnesium weighs 22% of steel. Aluminum weighs 35% of steel. I dream of a 6 cylinder Mustang that weighs 3000 pounds and has 600 horsepower ...from New Orleans , Merci Beaucoup.

      I see what youre saying im all about weight reduction too but the cooling is def something you dont wanna be skimping on, you can get weight out of the car in a bunch of other ways losing 300+ lbs would not be hard at all on this car without going nuts with insane weight reduction stuff.

    • @michaelharris748
      @michaelharris748 4 года назад +2

      I understand where you're coming from and these are alot more unique and special than a normal gt is and while they do hold their value better than a normal mustang they made enough of them for enough years where they arent gonna hold any significant value to where youd wanna never drive it or mod it. They were made to be enjoyed, modded and driven not sit in guys garages so they can hope one day itll be worth something. You cant just buy a gt and get the same driving experience these have a blown 5.4 and a tr6060 trans both totally different animals than what is in a gt. Yea you can get a newer coyote but they dont sound as good or make as much torque as these cars and they dont have the badass trans in them. Im a manual guy so i aint interested in 6r80 or 10r80 really they are very good transmissions but as i said in a manual guy. No reason not to drive and mod your shelby the way you want thats what they were made to do.
      *edit*
      Also if you do nice tasteful mods to your shelby mods really dont hurt the value on shelbys really...they dont really add much value per sey but they dont really take it away either. A nice tastefully modded shelby that isnt chopped up or completely changed can and will bring as much money as stock examples do.

      While i like s550s EVERYBODY has one there is nothing unique about them. I love these 5.4s they sound better and make way more torque by comparison and seem to be generally more reliable overall. Never heard of any engine problems unless theyre making well north of 700 and/or extend the rev limiter way beyond stock. Outside of that they seem bulletprood....id rather have one of these over an s550...stock blower makes a blower swap alot cheaper than adding a blower to a coyote. These will get 100 times more stares out in the wild compared to a dime a dozen s550
