In my opinion the 07 too 2014 will be the most valuable shelbys ever . Especially the 07 427 edition super snakes and I am just not saying because I own one. In my eyes it's a fact.
My 08 gt500 has crazy ford history. Back in the 60s Bob Tasca got Carroll Shelby into Ford.So Tasca is a huge part for shelbys history. I own David and Bob Tascas 08 gt500.He had his dealership put well over 100grand and to top it off.My car is signed twice by Carroll Shelby and John Force and the entire Tasca Family and I have all the paperwork that was done too the car and pictures. So too a Ford collector in the future the car can be very valuable. But I most likely won't ever sell it. It will take big bucks to sell any of my shelbys.
I wish man you could drive my 08 GT500.My car was owned by the drag racer dad Bob Tasca and there famous in the Ford world back in the 60s TASCA was a big part on getting CARROLL SHELBY into Ford and my car was his.Now my Gt500 is the complete opposite of your car.It has every Ford racing part that was available. The suspension is amazing and the car has 850hp.You would love it.Because he owns the dealership money isn't a issue. So when I bought it the car had 2thousand miles.Crazy low but he gave me all the paperwork of too what was done and it came out to 126grand.Now that's without labor so if it was a customer you're probably at 150grand.Crazy it is so well done it stays up with my 900hp 10 grabber blue super snake. So my point your car has a ton of potential it's just going to take time.Suspension I have the Ebioch adjustable suspension and that alone what a change.I am from CT where you from.I so wish I could take you for a drive. It's a crazy car.

I have a 2008 GT500 and wheel hop was bad, I installed Eibach pro kit springs, Eibach shocks & struts, Eibach front & rear sway bars and BMR adjustable UCA, LCA's with relocation brackets and adjustable pan hard bar (all BMR). The wheel hop is gone and that ugly gap at the rear wheels is gone. BMR sells a anti wheel hop kit for the GT500.
@@automotiveantics The ride feels planted to ground and better steering response it almost feels like a different car and tires will help. I got NT555's all around but in a month I'm installing the NT05R at the rear.
yes sir! so if you lower any more than an inch it will most definitely require an adjustable panhard bar. personally my 4.0 is lowered 1.5 front and back and drive ability is honestly subjective but i will say you will probably scrape on really bad speed bumps so it’s something you will need to be cautious of even with the steeda springs you’re getting. i have the bmr adjustable panhard bar and it works great and it also helps a bit with that wheelhop issue and it feels much grippier so definitely go ahead and pick one up they’re not that hard to put in and very much worth the money to keep your drivetrain aligned and keep your tires fitted equally on either side of the car. also look into the bmr springs they have tons of options for drops and also uses. they have springs that are better for daily driving, track days, and drag racing applications as well. hope this helps a bit! keep up the great work!
Thanks! I was also look at the FRPP springs which is 1.25" drop front and rear. They are a progressive rate spring as opposed to Steedas linear rate. So I think they are on top of my list at the moment now. DEFINITELY going to get the BMR adjustable panhard bar tho. Thats a must
I own a 07 GT500 for 5 years now I own a 13 gt500 for 3 years. I would suggest buying the eibach lowering springs I installed them on both of my gt500's. Adjustable panhard bar will be necessary. You may as well get lower control arms also.
3 minutes and 31 seconds so you start talking about the Fatal flaw yeah it's wheel hop anybody would know that it's because it has a live rear axle that is some Ancient Ancient technology
I just bought my GT 500 and I love this machine. Several mods on the car, but when doing 100+mph the rear likes to wiggle and shake can this be corrected? thanks for all your advice
Interesting. I've never had any wheel hop issues on my '13. Is the wheel hop inherent in the 2008 models. Is there a chance that something is worn on the C.arms that is allowing the wheel hop?
on my 2011 GT500 i turn off traction control then i can burn out endless but my 1967 camaro rs has bad wheel hop to the point i do not burn out with it
I lowered my 2014 Mustang GT. I have the Whiteline springs, whiteline panhard bar, whiteline rear lower control arms with brackets, maximum motorsports caster camber plates, Koni orange struts and shocks, and steeda rear upper control arm. Probably should of went with the Koni Yellow but will only track my car a few times a year. I live in Lower Allen/Camp Hill, PA.

Lower control arms on my 2010, zero wheel hop!

Traction bars. Also what is the warning light flashing, tire pressure?
Fuel saver shift light. Tells you when to shift for optimal gas milage.
KW. Problem solved.
A lot of talk, not a lot of tech.

Wheel hop comes from deflection in the suspension. After a set of BMR LCA's...problem solved😁
