I have also included the links for the larger set to mine in the description box below as the smaller set only has 3 left in stock. The description box is under the video box where it says "See More" 😊
This looks very much like Friendly Plastic (actual product name). Usually sold in strips, different colours, matt and metallic with a black back, white and pearl have a white backing. The straps can be cut up and to meld colours together or create shapes & 3d pieces, it has to be softened on the back of a craft iron on a small teflon sheet and lifted by wooden utensils, this can be placed onto a rounded surface using greaseproof paper, it doesn't take long to cool. I have several colours and a bag of the white balls, these are clear when melted, unless they come in various colours too. You can add inks and powders and gems onto this material and you can alter a piece, add to it or reshape it. It's good to see more transparent and solid colour pieces.😊
For me the best property of material is you can brush or pour either UV or epoxy resin on it or in it and it won't stick to it after it cures. Which is great for 3D/free form resin. There is a resin artist, Nelco neco, on YT, who makes an 3D apple ring case using this as base mould with UV resin brushed on over it. Thank you, Daniel for making a video about this clay.
Maybe for that morph white, you could put it into a baggie, then in the hot water? Then you could pipe it into the holographic mold. Maybe having it more liquid would help it take on that fine texture? For the bendy assortment, perhaps use that for bangles or bracelets? Could you try mix-ins? Knead tiny crystals or beads into the blob while it's hot? I can see using that to pick up holographic texture from things that silicone can't. Then making a silicone mold from that! Back to the bangle idea... Roll out that bendy sort into a flat holographic surface, then round it out into a wide bangle to use to make a silicone mold. Just thinking... lots of possibilities! Thank you for sharing your play with us!

Now this is what I call a game changer. Great for us who have reactions to resin if not kitted out in hazmat suits😅. It raises so many questions/thoughts on how it can be used, mixing colours together, alternatives to softening water, etc etc. I’ve not seen or heard of this before. Thanks Dan 🇦🇺💚
I saw this on Nelco neco’s channel it’s fascinating. Thank you for the translations. I was moderating on my friends channel last night, your name came up in the chat as she and I follow you. Several of her followers subscribed to you.
I've used stuff similar to whitemorph for stonesetting when making jewellery from more traditional materials, and it'd brilliant for that purpose. I also once tried modifying a silicone mold with it for a temporary purpose, but I can tell you it will not mesh well with uv resin - which I should have figured out without trying. Uv resin gets hot enough to melt the stuff. The coloured plastic seems to behave a lot like hot glue, if I'm honest. I know there are hot glues, which melt at lower temperatures, and hot glue comes in all kinds of sparkly colours, too, and can be melted again (with a heatgun, for instance). And, it is a little bit flexible (and technically more a plastic than a glue). I'll need to do some ingredient comparison... Btw, it's nothing like resin, but it's non-toxic and eco friendly, and works with molds - although not as fast as uv resin: look up cold porcelain.
Another interesting bit of info for anyone who cares. The white "thermo plastic", (not sure if it is all biodegradable, that's the first I've heard that term associated with it) has been popular with cos-players for a while. It comes in pellets and sheets which makes for interesting creative possibilities. Aaaand, the first I ever heard of the pellets was when a friend of mine, after seeing an online recommendation without dental insurance or a lot of money used it to bridge the gap where a couple teeth were missing. I'm totally not joking. So it is hard and non-toxic. This is not medical advice lol.
First heart looks like "bubbly resin" and a little "cracked" looking but yes, it looks like resin! Very easy to cut and trim as well! Holographic one looks awesome and chameleon powder one really picked up well also! I would still feel like it should have a UV resin coat on it because I can see it rubbing off over time. But for those that don't have other options for resin or can't use it for health reasons, this is a GREAT alternative!
I never put it together but there are the at home denture kits being sold. They give you pinkish pellets to melt in water then you use them to form gums for dentures. If it doesn’t work before it gets cold you just reheat and try it again.
Oh yeah! Back in my youth, I used to have sets of vampire fangs( scarecrow labs) that had the reusable water melt plastic for making a gasket over your actual teeth to keep the fang on. This stuff is pretty fun. The kind i had was cloudy white( to help look like the tooth/ cap) it never occured to me that there would be colored products too. Lol😅 The whitemorph is what I'm familiar with. It doesnxt stick as much on skin compared to latex or other cousin compounds, but is easier to work with once it cools down a little after the beads are fused.
the holographic quality is due to the surface texture and that is why the hotter melt was able to pick it up- it was runny enough to take the exact shape of the surface of the silicone.
I absolutely love your videos! Your enthusiasm is infectious! But I just wanted to mention these are actually Molds themselves and not meant for using as a resin replacement. That’s why they are reusable. For example, you take an item like a resin piece you want to replicate and then you heat up this mold and then take enough to cover both sides of the resin or just enough to cast one side if it’s meant to be a cabachon and then let it set. When it hardens, you carefully remove the actual resin piece and there you have it: a reusable mold you continually use to pour/ cast your resin and replicate multiple pieces until you’re done and want to make a new mold of a different piece. Again, I absolutely love your videos and this is meant to be a friendly tip 😊
The whitemorph reminds me of the stuff they use to make teeth for dentures. ... Interesting. Having said that, I wonder how that material would work. I mean, it hardens enough to be used as teeth. Might be worth a try. Cheers!
There's tutorials on RUclips on how to use it to make teeth and how to colour it with coffee granules so it isn't so dazzling. One bloke done an incredible job. You'd need to be wary of having hot drinks though!
My husband introduced me to "friendly plastic" about 25 years ago. It was white pellets you tossed into hot water and when it turned clear it was ready. Wasnt nearly as sticky as the bio stuff you used here. I am guessing this is the next generation of friendly plastic. My concern would be for making it as jewelry and the customer forgetting and getting into the shower, hot tub, team room or hot sun possibly? It's why I didn't use this for jewelry. Looks interesting enough to give it a go however. :)
@14:08, you're talking about the joins, where you had to stuff different lengths into the mold to get around the corners. I wonder if you could set that mold on a heating pad or other heat source, to keep it warmer while you're working with it, and maybe cut down on the appearance of the joins?
The first kind in the kit is really cool! With the biodegradable stuff, edible glitters, paints, & foils should maintain the biodegradability of it. Might make it look better.
This looks like friendly plastic, especially the white morph, I've used for making jewellery. Thermoplastic is brilliant stuff but I had discounted it with resin as of the heat that the resin gives off too much heat and would melt it. This is why 'just try it' is so important. Thanks for the video Daniel ❤
I had this sruff in my cart last year as i had seen a few videos, and it looked cool. I finally decided to "save it for later" and forgot about it. Daniel!! You're killing my wallet! 🤣🤣🤣 I managed a whole 24 hours before breaking down and watching your video! My husband says i have too much resin craft stuff, but what does he know?!?!? 😂😂 I do need some help figuring out how to make a 3d mold from a 3d print my son made for me.
Wow 😱😱 Daniel!! Fantastic! I really like this product! I am one of those people with many allergies, unfortunately also to epoxy resin so I have to stay a long time without being able to use it. This material allows me to make cute ptos. Thank you so much for making me known!!😊🤗
I bought Polymorph granules over a year ago and haven’t tried using it yet! You’ve inspired me now so if anyone is looking for me I’ll be locked in the workshop for the next week 😂
I might have my daughter try the first one, if I can find it. I clicked your link and it's telling me it's not available here (USA). I love the idea of being able to reheat it and start over. She loves to do crafts, but gets a bit frustrated if something doesn't work, so I think this would be a great option! Thank you for showing us new things!😊
I have used the white pellets to make shapes and then to make silicone moulds. It is wonderful for this. I’ve never seen the the first one before and will be rectifying that in just a second. This stuff is truly amazing. Thanks Daniel. ✌🏻🤍
I love this stuff. I've been using it for years to make moulds for resin. First make something out of polymer clay and bake it then use this stuff to make a mould of it
I use Worbla's Crystal Art for this reason but it's all clear beads, but can be dyed with Rit Dye more to add colour tint or fold in mica/glitter powders.
Very interesting product! My mind was running wild with all the tests I could do with pigments, layers, reflexion and refraction of colors that are seen when moved under light... Do you think that cutting the bar in very thin slices with a razor blade or wire and then put in the hot water to soften, add color then assemble in the mold by layers with the correct pressure would manage to bond them? Or the lines remain visible? Maybe not even stick! 😁 But I think they would, maybe reheat the stack before putting in the mold... I can see beautiful unique gems being created with this. I would still use resin to coat the ones that reach this stage to protect the shape and finish from heat damage. It could even melt inside when exposed to sun rays 🤔 Thanks for your video, keep creating!
This product allows for different pattern blending, like candy cane red / white but it may be able to be separated and reused differently. What a cool product review, thanks for sharing!
I use the white pellets for molds particularly for clay. It's also great if you need to reverse negative something so you can have a positive to make a mold with. Fun video!
Wow my nephew is acrryinf on mine & my sisters passion for craft, he would absolutely love this set because he makes jewellery for all his friends at school. It’s brilliant stuff Ty for this
Wouhaou !!! MERCI !!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🥰🥰❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Bioplastic, which can be made with kitchen staples is another alternative. I saw a young man, YT channel Green Plastics, make some years ago as a science project. He deserved an A+ 🤣
Wow what a difference the bars could make to doing small items. It’s a real game changer. I like the idea of the balls however would you be able to colour them while in water? Plain white just doesn’t do it unless you made a tray or coaster & then put transfers on them. Or just have a fine base made from the balls & then decorate however you like. There is a use for the balls, but I really love the bars. I must see if they are available from Amazon Australia Thank you Daniel for sharing, I love watching your experiments
Ohh I have a huge bag of morph beads with colour beads, I've Bern using it for years ive used to mold handles on craft tools so I can hold them better as I have Rheumatoid arthritis, never thought to use in for crafting ,thank you
What I want to experiment with is sculpting positives to make silicone molds with the pellet form one. I am hoping details can also be carved into it. I am glad to hear the pellet form one sets super hard, but knowing the bar one stays flexible has possibilities, too. Thank you for this.
I've used "Blue Stuff" thermoplastic for making on the fly molds for miniatures for many years it's great! This stuff would be great for kids because you don't want them messing with resin and getting an allergy because that sucks.
I used t0 use extra thick embossing powder and use in range pot and you can get the same results as resin x but it dries very quick when pouring it out,but it can be remelted 😊😊😊😊😊😊
WOW!!! Your channel is just one big surprise everytime I watch it. So many craft related things that we are not able to get here in South Africa. And to buy it from overseas is just so expensive with Rand /Dollar exchange it is not even funny..But I can at least enjoy all these marvelous creations and experiments of yours. Thank you Daniel.. 😊❤
I have played around with the thermo plastic (pellets) you can fold in glow powders then press in to mould, so leads me to believe you could do the same with mica powders to change the color
I like this product I haven't seen before. I have used the white pellets for many things but not in jewellery. I make moulds for faces with it.. lasts forever.. ❤ Oh..n I don't use gloves..
I never knew that resin like that existed. I think I may have seen something like it, but no idea it was a resin. It looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Me neither Bob, had to do a bit of research into whether it is a resin or not, I'm still in the middle but it is listed as a resin clay and some websites are calling it a resin also, it's just very different to what we are used to. But resin has a much wider range including plant based resins from the stone age 😁
The instructions for the Whitemorph said heat it up to melt it, LET IT COOL, then mould it. I think you were perhaps a bit too eager. Rather that heat the Whitemorph in water, try putting it in the mould, and hold the mould in hot water, or perhaps over a boiling kettle. The pellets should melt into the mould and pick up the detail. The problem is that it's white, so it's not going to show the holographic effect as well. This is interesting stuff, but I think it'll be better for making moulds rather than being the finished product.
I love this! I had only seen the white pellets before. Now that I know you can get this in colors (especially the clear glitter!!) I'll have to use it more.
@@daniel..cooper Will look forward to see what you do with this, and see if any of this wil work for my stuff. I've tried the pellets before and also had problems.
They make plant based resin called Anycubic Eco that is supposed totally environmental friendly. It's actually made for 3d printers but I have never tried it. May be an option, but a friend told me it will get a yellow tinge, but that was also when it was first introduced.
Omg thank you so much for sharing this secret you have uncovered! I can't wait to try making some molds with it because I've been really struggling with resin molds! Thanks again😊
I bought that for mould making (the bars) that too will turn very sticky when water is too hot, so one plastic beaker less cos it stuck like glue to the beaker. It is handy to have around and a fairly good alternative to resin, although once you've used resin there's no turning back. Good tutorial 👍Thank you
Wow amazing product sir Daniel😍👏.This is perfect for people like me who are just crafting and not selling 😅.You explained everything about it very well, thankful to you 🙏💜
Hi Daniel, I was just watching your video and there is a product made by Amaco called Friendly Plastic that is around and in English. You can get it in different forms, I use pellets. Thanks for the info on other ways to use this, I'll give them a try.
Green Stuff World sells a product like this to the miniature modellers out there - it’s called Blue Stuff and is more like the white one you showed but in blue bar form. Been around a long time. Handy stuff.
I have also included the links for the larger set to mine in the description box below as the smaller set only has 3 left in stock. The description box is under the video box where it says "See More" 😊
This is amazing. Ive put one in my basket for pay day 😊
Does it allow you to put holographic images in it? ❤❤❤(The clear plastic sticker things)
@ohthereyouarepeter1435 I'm not sure atm, there may be a way without it cancelling out the holographic detail but may need to experiment.
They are currently out and have no restock date. Will they be coming out with more???????
@@ashleyscustomcreations I don't think Daniel would know... That's out of his hands 💁🏻♀️
I love your childlike joy when something surprised you!
😂😂 the holographic took me by huge surprise 😂
Totally! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome stuff! I will check the channel out, thanks Bob 😊
Her channel is beyond beautiful. Her crafts are works of art and the videos themselves are beautiful.
That sounds like a great idea.
Wowzer 😱😱 we can mould it into any shape and create our own moulds; over and over again. Now I want this stuff… you’re killing me 😂😂😂
Yep, need to do some more tests with resin but others have used this to make molds with silicone with huge success 😊
@@daniel..cooper that's what I'm going to try, to make molds

Glad it helped 😊 Definitely an option 🥰

Whitemorph or Polymorph has been used in sfx for many years.
I also use it to create commonly used objects such as hooks or broken handles.

MERCI !!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🥰🥰❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks Claudine 😊 You can still enjoy the art even if you aren't using it any more 🥰
Bioplastic, which can be made with kitchen staples is another alternative. I saw a young man, YT channel Green Plastics, make some years ago as a science project. He deserved an A+ 🤣
Awesome! It's great stuff 😁
I must see if they are available from Amazon Australia
Thank you Daniel for sharing, I love watching your experiments
You always put a smile on my face. You have the greatest laugh ir chuckle when something works out. Thanks❤
🥰 thank you 😊 🙏
Ohh I have a huge bag of morph beads with colour beads, I've Bern using it for years ive used to mold handles on craft tools so I can hold them better as I have Rheumatoid arthritis, never thought to use in for crafting ,thank you
Awesome 😊 Very welcome Tracey 😊
The fact that it picked up the holographic so well is so cool!!
IKR 😁😁
Fascinating. I wonder if you can hear it up in a Bain marie so water don’t get in it x
Possibly but I think it may become rather sticky, more experimenting to come 😁
What I want to experiment with is sculpting positives to make silicone molds with the pellet form one. I am hoping details can also be carved into it. I am glad to hear the pellet form one sets super hard, but knowing the bar one stays flexible has possibilities, too. Thank you for this.
100% both have their own uniqueness 😁
I did infuse some of the white stuff with glow in the dark powder. Worked fantastically.
the white stuff I had wasn't soft or bendable at all for the record
Awesome, may try soon 😁
This stuff is incredible. It would be fantastic for making kids jewelry. Thank you for showing this item to the world Daniel!
I too liked the marble effect that the bars gave. Really nice experiment.
Thanks Mike 😊 So much more to come with this 😁
In the '90s we called it 'Friendly Plastic'. We used it in highschool art classes to make jewelry and wind chime decorations.
Thanks so much 😊
Otra opción 💜
I have played around with the thermo plastic (pellets) you can fold in glow powders then press in to mould, so leads me to believe you could do the same with mica powders to change the color
100% 😁😁
I like this product I haven't seen before.
I have used the white pellets for many things but not in jewellery.
I make moulds for faces with it.. lasts forever.. ❤
Oh..n I don't use gloves..
It's great stuff isn't it 😁
It looks like you could make cute keyrings n stuff with the coloured plastics because it stays flexible ....kids of all ages would love it.
100% 😊😊😊
Thanks, very informative.
Thank you 😊
I never knew that resin like that existed.
Oh wow. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great stuff isn't it 😁
@@daniel..cooper it is 😍😍
Thanks for the share Daniel. That would be great to make small molds and then reuse. 😊😊😊
Very welcome 😊 Yes, will film that vid next I think 😊
That's really cool! Might have to give it a try.
😁😁😁
the toxicity and eco concerns are what has stopped me from getting back into Resin. Very interested in this!
100% 😊 I think we can work wonders with this! 😍
@@toughtimes6596 Very thoughtful, I'll look that up and see if it's suitable and in uk. Thanks!
Soft UV resin stays soft, BUT I'm sure it's not reusable? Fan, this is so fun!!! My g-daughter would LOVE this!
What a great find but I’m afraid I don’t have the patience but the possibilities with this product would be endless and those hearts look gorgeous
Thank you 😊
Thanks for this! I bought this stuff years ago to make molds, but never thought of using it IN molds for its own thing! Duh! Very cool.
Thank you 😊
So happy to see you do a video for this. I have this sitting in my closet since last year, never knew how to use. Thank you!
Yay, glad you have some already 😊 more to come soon Nancy 😁😁
WOW…..Thankful that we have you Daniel…how else would we know about all these awesome secrets to our crafts!!!!!!!! Great video!!! Thanks!!!!
Thanks so much 😊 🙏
Lovk this!
Never knew there was things like this. Thanks for sharing ❤
No problem 😊
How much fun is this! And you can reuse it! Woo Hoo! Too cool. 😎💥🎉💃
100% 😁😁😁
Omg thank you so much for sharing this secret you have uncovered! I can't wait to try making some molds with it because I've been really struggling with resin molds! Thanks again😊
So cool, I especially like the idea of making them into inlays. Could you try doing a holographic one anx then use it as an inlay? X
I may try soon, I think it could work 😁
The black wispy looks a little like tourmaline rutile quartz, beautiful.
😁🥰
Just started watching this video. I have used the Whitemorph once and it's reusable and I like that.
That is really cool! Looks like maybe the pelllets would be better for repairs? Both are still pretty awesome.
I think so too! 🥰
I bought that for mould making (the bars) that too will turn very sticky when water is too hot, so one plastic beaker less cos it stuck like glue to the beaker. It is handy to have around and a fairly good alternative to resin, although once you've used resin there's no turning back. Good tutorial 👍Thank you
So true Alison, it will be hard to beat for us Resin users for sure but great for those who can't use it 🥰
Those white pelets might work better if you set up a double boiler kinda situation. You know like if you are tempering a soft chocolate?
Yes, may try a heat mat too to stop it cooling too fast 😊
Wow amazing product sir Daniel😍👏.This is perfect for people like me who are just crafting and not selling 😅.You explained everything about it very well, thankful to you 🙏💜
My pleasure! Thanks as always 😊
would like to see what happens ro holographic piece when remelted. Wonderful option 😊😊😊
Thanks for sharing this, I’ve seen the white pellet before. I think I might not of been excited over it. 😂 the color bars look interesting though. ❤
Thanks Maddie 😊 🫂
What a fun product. Being able to reuse it is definitely a game changer ❤
I think so too! 😁
Well, I bought the product which comes in blocks 2013 or so in Japan in order to make tiny molds out of it...
...and it works and it's reusable !!! 😀
Awesome! 😁😁😁
@@daniel..cooper P.S. For resin it might not be applicable...
Great info. I also use this but always fun to see it used in different ways. Love that it picks up the holographic imprint
Thanks Kelly 😊
Hi Daniel, I was just watching your video and there is a product made by Amaco called Friendly Plastic that is around and in English. You can get it in different forms, I use pellets. Thanks for the info on other ways to use this, I'll give them a try.
Green Stuff World sells a product like this to the miniature modellers out there - it’s called Blue Stuff and is more like the white one you showed but in blue bar form. Been around a long time. Handy stuff.
