Daniel, I don't have a dishwasher and I saw a "hack" about adding a little isopropyl alcohol into your dish soap to make it easier to rince...maybe that can be another way of doing this! I add a couple tablespoon to a 10 oz bottle of Dawn! Just a thought!😊

Hi. Just got back into resin and was wondering how deep do you normally go with the needle to get those effects? I know you did a couple really deep but do you normally go about half way in to do the swirls? I'm going to try those techniques this weekend... you made those look so easy.. and they are beautiful... hope to make some similar... now the balls that have the swirl.. they are was 3 and 4 inches and I've seen them with swirls... how long would you let those sit before doing the swirls?

I think your camera is fine. You’re just moving the pieces in and out of the focal range.

Hi Dan, I just came up with a tip you may find helpful, I got some iridescent floral films and I used a hot plate set between 180 to 200 degrees. I just laid it on the surface for a second, picked it up and moved it around and it It works beautifully, more textures with less chance of curling. I got more colours too, and who doesn't need more colour!?

I’ve actually bought silver, gold & copper foil that has other colours on the foil like this so has obviously been heated as well. Never thought of trying to make my own. I also have very thin copper & brass sheets that I use for embossing, that I’ll have to try heat colouring now 🤔 So beautiful! Sometimes you can get greens, greys, blues with them etc.

I loved 3 and 6 the best! They are so cool! I love the crisper effect it has when you let the ink set in the glue. I will definitely be attempting this! I have little patience thought, so it may be hard. I love doing it on hair clips.

I love this effect! I started doing this effect from your 307 video with hair clips. I have gotten beautiful results. I used the alcohol sinker white and a tiny dot of the pigment paste in my UV resin for the back, but now I am curious about trying this variation. Thanks for your experiments!

I…LOVE…YOUR…CHANNEL!!! I’ve had a secret guilty feeling about attempting to copy your art. I’ve never been any kind of artist, but always wanted to be. (If I draw a person it’s a stick figure!) I watch ALL your videos, am a subscriber and wish I could copy your ‘experiments’. I too have PTSD. Tho mine was caused by a lawsuit that just dragged on for 7 yrs, over a guy that said it was my fault he ended up in jail for a night. I started drinking as well toward the end. I just couldn’t believe something that stupid was going on for that long. Sorry. Anyway, maybe I won’t feel so guilty copying your stuff now.
