There's several things I love about you. 1st your artistry. 2nd you don't mind talking about and showing your mistakes. 3rd you mention other artists. I watch your experiments over and over. I make friends who aren't artist watch them with me. I'm going to have a Resin party. ❤😻
Absolutely stunning when I went to oil painting classes we learnt to do loads of mountains I love it and agree I think better domed as the magnifier takes away a lot I think we'll done on another amazing tutorial
Daniel you need to stop doubting yourself, it’s stunning. Working in miniatures is not easy. I work in miniatures in many different types of mediums, I have learnt to stop second guessing myself when working in a new project and just keep going, at the end I find it always turns out better than I thought it would. It’s a case of trusting the process and trusting yourself. What you might not like someone else will love. I learnt that decades ago when I entered a painting into the Sydney Easter show, I was never happy with the finished results myself but I was stunned when I went to the show to see mine as well as the winners to find a group of Americans standing in front of my painting discussing it and what it was they loved about the picture, I only put it into the show because my parents pushed me to enter it. These Americans were disappointed that unlike other artwork mine was never up for sale sometimes it pays to be a fly in the wall. For me that day it was a huge boost to my confidence that day, at the end of the show I found 3 invites from some very well known art galleries that had invited me to add some work to their mixed artist nights in the new year, it gave me 10 months to come up with some new pieces and actually add a price to them. I sold one piece, but the others I took off the market when my family showed interest in having my artwork hanging in their homes. Trust yourself, you have created some really stunning and one of the kind pieces.🤗🤗
I really like this, I love sea scenes and the clouds were just sublime, I think that I would have domed it though, but that’s just me I still think you’re a genius sending love Anne xxx 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Wow!!! I know this is going to sound funny coming from someone who has just spent 20+ hours on wolf eyes but that took some patience! And sooooo worth it. Incredible piece Dan, absolutely
Non riesco ad esprimere in inglese, spero che ci sia una traduzione: sei un artista fantastico, una persona eccezionale. Non riuscirò mai a fare le cose che ci mostri, ma non importa. Guardare i tuoi video è uno spettacolo impagabile. Grazie per essere come sei.
I really do love the 3D effect. Thankfully knowing you, you will give us a video in the future showing us whether doming works as well. I so want to try this. I do think buying a small container of titanium dioxide is a great idea. I know you've achieved similar results with corn starch, but I'm afraid it would yellow over time. Don't know. I was surprised at how inexpensive the titanium dioxide turned out to be. It's going to last you a really long time. 🎉
I’m thinking ….. Christmas ornaments!! Once the grandchildren are all in school full time, we’ve thought about traveling the US in an RV and I can make scenes of the places we visit to use as Christmas ornaments on our tree (we always get an ornament and shot glass at each place we travel … ohhh making shot glasses could be fun!). I can also see myself sitting on some caribbean beaches making momentos! You are a visionary, Dan, you really are! Thank you so much for sharing this so freely. Your videos give me such joy from watching your joy! Rock on!
Daniel, I think this piece is just perfect the way it is and a background colour would dull it down and ruin the overall effect. The harshest critic of a piece of art is usually the artist themselves. Don't be so hard on yourself. This piece is a unique and one of a kind little beauty, and well worth the time and effort you put into it. Thank you so much for sharing another fascinating tutorial with us.
Don't worry about a bit of green in your sunset. When flying I noticed there's the barest hint of green in the sky where the blue of the sky meets the yellow of the sunset. I can't say I've ever noticed it from the ground. But it makes sense really. These are amazing. I'd like to try but a bit scared I'll mess it all up and then I'd wanna cry lol
Wow!! You have me soeechless here with the beauty of this. You are absolutely correct when you say it looks magical. I do have to agree, though, that I preferred it without the bubble lens. This really and truely is resun art❤❤❤❤
Absolutely lost for words Prof, I personally bloody LOVE it, it is just STUNNING ❤❤❤❤ I can’t wait to see what your creative little grey cells come up with next.
I'm really loving these, the 3d effect is amazing. If you have any silver or gold leaf on you, you might try what effect they'd give to the scenery, instead of a white background. That might give an interesting light reflection, too.
As if you would stick to the rules! We love it when you push the boundaries! Normally with awesome results! 😊 It’s fantastic! But honestly even better without the top lense! Thank Dan for your patience and dedication to your art! We appreciate it!❤
OGM!!! Is all I have to say!! You are absolutely amazing Daniel Cooper!! This piece Is beautiful!! I want to be just like you when I grow up. If I can only be half the artist you are I will be a very happy person. Thank you!!🙏
🤯 Oh my goodness, the depth is incredible and I loved watching this come together ❤🎉 Truly a work of beautiful art from the master! I was thinking that this would be awesome for ocean waves while watching the clouds video and the blue coming through between the mountains, looked like little rivers flowing into the sea! Just incredible Prof Cooper 😎
NEVER, EVER follow the "Rules", Dan! It stifles genuine creativity, and you are super creative! As far as I'm concerned, there are very few rules (if any) in the Realm of Creativity. Other than gravity...definite Rule, there. 😁 No, that was not a nervous chuckle...it was a little whimper - I heard it! 😅 GLORIOUS scene, Daniel! I'm not seeing any gaps in the mountains? But, mountains DO have gaps, yano! I absolutely LOVE this piece! Doming *might* be a good option as opposed to lensing it. Maybe try that next? Maybe use a fine, long-enough-to-hold, sewing needle (the sharp tip) to put in tiny objects? Even tiny birds! Yeah, no background needed, imo. Wonderful video, Dan...thank you so much! 😍
Oh I love this! I would love to see you do another one with an ocean palm trees and clouds with some purple in the sky. Also you might want to have a background to put them against that is more or less the color of skin? Again I really love your work. I’m physically disabled so I won’t be able to actually do resin. I’ll get my fix by watching your work. ❤
You have definitely outdone yourself, Daniel I know you might not believe me, but when I was watched your other videos I had the mountains in my mind and then you did. It is absolutely stunning. I was wondering what it would look like if you sanded the back and gave it the frosty look, since you like the white on the background anyway absolutely stunning. Thank you so much for sharing and definitely going to try it.
OMG.....absolutely Awesome Daniel!!! I love it! Would I have the patience to make it, probably not, or maybe once and done.....LOL!!! You are a resin genius for resin!!! -Beverly
I love them. And again, thank you for sharing…I’m going to try this experiment, but in reverse, so get the magnifying effect, without adding the second half. Way to go! You’re a wonderful inspiration to us all❤
Daniel this is so COOL and beautiful every time you come out with a new video you amaze me your channel is the only one that takes it over the top you area genius sir 😁
The snow capped mountains came out fantastic!! I wonder if you could make encapsulated storm clouds in varying shades of grey. Maybe in just clear resin and domed. Like your own personal little storm. Maybe a little silver mica in some of the clouds. After all, every cloud has a silver lining.... Or something to that affect.... 😂 I love seeing these experiments! Truly fascinating stuff. Thanks Daniel for the awesome videos!! Ps: after I thought about storm clouds... I wondered about adding a rainbow somehow.... No idea how but it could look epic!!
Once again… AMAZING!!! I’m building my little art space beside my home now… I can’t wait to do more… try more… BE more. You will ALWAYS be one of my favorites! 💜💙
Working in miniature is one of the hardest forms of art - and using such an unforgiving medium as resin... Youve created a lovely 3D landscape, well done you!
I'm very much the same with my works. I have something in mind, it doesn't come out how I think it should then I fix and change and by the time I'm done I just kinda go "yuck" and want to chuck it out! Invariably, when I look at it hours later I quite like it! You've created quite a 3D piece - I like the shadows from the clouds and mountains.❤️
Hi Daniel ,I love what you do & that you experiment with different things, keep it up...💯 Can we use paint in the molds & if so what paint works the best, please help
This is cool. Maybe make layers in your mountains so you have some in a distance. OR you could have a volcano erupting with layers of ash in the sky and layers of lava on the sides. So many possibilities.
That is a beautiful piece of art! I love your mountains, but I do like mountains since I can see them from my front window. Live in a valley below the mountains and love the rugged skyline!
Loved that and how you wing it on camera. Perhaps just a dome would have done to get the effect. Those tiny mountains in the distance (good perspective) were climbable. Oh yes I enjoyed that, good job, now I want to see a Nebula 😂💖👏
True resin art. You might want to make your resins more opaque before laying them down. This would prevent having to back it in white. Also if you paint the whole cab evenly, you won’t get the bleed over. Happy resonating!
It’s beautiful! But if you’re making a piece like this don’t forget to add some of your sky color into the reflection of the water. Just a tip bit. Thank you Daniel for showing how to get the depth and the 3 D scenery in resin pendents…..love it so much!
Daniel that truly is an awesome piece, all good artists doubt the beauty of their work but honestly if you put it away for a few days then return to look at it you will see what we see. I literally fell into that piece and imagined all kinds of adventures, that my friend is brilliance. Keep doing what you are doing and enjoy the process. CH
I think it looks amazing! Love that you showed us the whole process, it brings so many possibilities for different kinds of landscapes pop into my head^^
You really are a inspiration in the resin world for all your experimenting and amazing successes and prove to everyone that we should try it as you never know what you can achieve , you really are the mad scientist and throw the rule book out the window

Absolutely stunning when I went to oil painting classes we learnt to do loads of mountains I love it and agree I think better domed as the magnifier takes away a lot I think we'll done on another amazing tutorial
If you're having a party I'll bring a bottle .......... Of UV Resin.
I think they are both amazing. So glad you didn't back it. I think it would have taken away that beautiful glow. 😍
I love it! Just wish I had a fraction of your talent!
You are the Bob Ross of resin! You don't make mistakes! They are just "happy accidents" 😊
Thanks so much Cindy 🥰
Was going to say something very similar! 😅 Daniel has his own brand of 'Happy Little Clouds'!
I was going to say the same......Bob Ross of Resin.....Hypnotic beautiful pieces
I wanted to say the same ... 😊
This is amazing Daniel. You never cease to amaze me!

Yes, it's really cheap considering how much we can do with it and how little is needed 🥰
That's magnificent. Perhaps try making a stormy one next?
Thank you 😁 Definitely, with some lightning maybe 🤩
@@Cuprum-ws5lo he did one that the clouds were slightly grey. It looked slightly like a storm was blowing up. I agree C.
