I really appreciate you showing when things don't turn out great, and your reaction to it. I'm really bad about giving up when a new craft doesn't succeed right away.
What a neat idea! And I am glad you always show your failures alongside your successes, to show that everything doesn't go perfect on the first try every time. And hi, Nicole!
I’ve been thinking this film would look really pretty if you cut into a bunch strips, and make one of your lamps with it. I think the light shining off all of the colorful bits would be stunning
I like them clear side up. The last set was pretty neat both ways. I was very glad when you grabbed a craft stick to hold the film while you were blasting it with the heat gun. It is almost like you heard me say, "Ah! Watch your fingers, my friend!" Nice that you got Nicole to work with you.
That was AWESOME!! And bonus to have Nicole in on the action. To be honest guys, I liked them all!! Specially when you set them against the light. Nice job!!! Well done!!! Maurice from Canada!!
So cool and fun to see the process to achieve what look you were going for! Thank you for showing us all of them at the end! The end product was awesome! I hope you are mending well. ☺️💜
I know I've already commented once before, and I haven't been subscribed for very long, but I really liked this one Ben. I've watched it a few times now.
Like you said my friend practice makes perfect and the more you do the better they got very cool, and they do look awesome with a light shining through.
Loved this video! I love that youve shown us the progress of experiments and explained what youve done each time to improve and get the result you wanted. We learn so much more from mistakes. Thanks again 😊
Great team work, nice to see your hands Nicole 😂Good experiment, a real learning tutorial and I love the result, just love it! Thank you both, have a good weekend 🌺
I think all of those turned out great!! They could easily be used on the "clear" side so the colors pop through. And yes, they look even cooler with a light under them.
I think the second batch were my favorites. The third looked cool with the light, but the second look great on their own. They remind me of those nebulas way out in space that we’re now able to see.
Love the video, I hope you're healing up well. All of them do look good, clear on top could work just as well as black on top. Maybe try putting the film in a low heat oven to shrink it, see if it comes out any different?
ok i like the first and second for the front part (the second try looks amazing), the third is way more interesting when there's a light under them! cool project btw, and it's awesome to see nicole as well.
Nicole puts on gloves allllllllll the time, unlike some one else I know 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Good to see Nicole helping. Hope the ribs are on the mend 👍🏻 PS I’ve seen people do this and they put the film on top of the resin and push it up to form the uneven surface. Then once set a top layer.
That was an interesting experiment for sure. I agree with you the bottom ones light up in such an awesome way but the top side of the middle coasters are pretty too!
Remindes me of shrinking the empty potato chip bags when I was a kid. Loved the coasters that you both created, especially with the light shining underneath. Can't wait to see what you create next.
Those are pretty the light really sets them off. I saw a technique where you make a white base layer the when it is getting thick. You put plastic wrap on top of the white resin and kind of crinkle it. Let it totally dry then take the plastic wrap off. Paint the white resin with dry mica powder. Pour a layer of clear resin on top. I thought it looks like velvet ❤❤
That was a cool project! The last set definitely looks amazing with the light and the 2nd set looks awesome just looking at them the original way y'all did them without turning them over. If it don't work, try try again!!😜Love that Dichroic film.
It’s fabulous to see Nicole work with you. It’s also brilliant to see the gorgeous effects on the coasters. I use dichroic film to wrap some of my Etsy things just because it’s nice for the buyer
This would look awesome as a lantern style, grab rectangle moulds, lights and and even experiment with different embeds textiles and you’d have a whole new project/collection to make and sell. Also with the ‘failed’ attempts, could you sand the bottoms down until the colour come through?
Nice work Ben and Nicole! Honestly when you made a second batch I thought that the idea was that upward facing film will be the top of the coaster, not the bottom. 😮
Thanks for stopping by, If you have time you can check out my new range of Eggs here www.etsy.com/shop/bensworx
Good to see Nicole helping you Ben love the collab. This is very pretty
Thankyou
That was fun! It's nice that you included all the attempts to get the look you wanted. And wow, what a look, especially with the light!
Always good to see Nicole working with you. I think they would make some awesome stands. 👍
Thanks Mark 😊
So pretty!!! I love how it sparkles!!!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️
Yay!!!!! Nicole is here !!! 🎉
I really appreciate you showing when things don't turn out great, and your reaction to it. I'm really bad about giving up when a new craft doesn't succeed right away.
Thanks for showing the bad with the good. Makes me feel better knowing that even the pro's struggles as well.
Nice to see your videos up again... I hope your back is healing nicely.
Thankyou, I’m recovering well
What a fun husband and wife project. I might do this with my wife. We make custom gauge earrings this'll make a awesome new project
Oh, those would be GORGEOUS earrings!
Very pretty! I like how you aren't afraid to show any mistakes and what you think went wrong. They still turned out really cool!
Third time’s a charm… they look awesome 👍
Said it before, but I love seeing your authentic response to things not turning out as you had hoped :)
Hi Ben and Nicole. I really like the side with the clear resin, but your 3rd attempt was certainly a charm!! I love that film. Thanks!!
i liked #2 of the third batch shown over the light and the entire first batch with the less amount of pigment. thx!
What a neat idea! And I am glad you always show your failures alongside your successes, to show that everything doesn't go perfect on the first try every time. And hi, Nicole!
Now, the finished coasters are beautiful.
Those would look cool as night light covers.
Yay Nicole!!! Glad to see her again on the channel. Those turned out real cute even your "failures". I like them.
The final try that got the results you wanted were pretty cool.
But I think the 'failures' look really great as well if you're using their top sides.
I don’t how I was expecting them to turn out but it wasn’t that, man they’re awesome! Also love having Nicole on the channel again :)
I’ve been thinking this film would look really pretty if you cut into a bunch strips, and make one of your lamps with it. I think the light shining off all of the colorful bits would be stunning
They look like stained glass on the light! ❤ turn the second batch upside down, they are really pretty !
Hey Ben&Nicole
Great seeing you both collaborate again. Very cool project.
Take care of Yourselves 😊
I like them clear side up. The last set was pretty neat both ways. I was very glad when you grabbed a craft stick to hold the film while you were blasting it with the heat gun. It is almost like you heard me say, "Ah! Watch your fingers, my friend!" Nice that you got Nicole to work with you.
The middle row flipped look cool.
I love the ones that were upside down. Great job!
Thanks Lynn 😊
Ben they would look great as part of a kaleidoscope. It would make such pretty designs. Good job.
Wow!! The third ones are awesome!! I liked the first ones, loved the second ones, but you really got me with the third ones. ❤
Thankyou
That was AWESOME!! And bonus to have Nicole in on the action. To be honest guys, I liked them all!! Specially when you set them against the light. Nice job!!! Well done!!!
Maurice from Canada!!
Thanks Maurice 😊
Great to see you back! Hope you are feeling better.
And this was a great project to coast back in on 😁
Thankyou 😊
The third set of coasters look Awesome!!! ❤❤❤
All look great in various effects. Even your perceptions of the progress to ideals. Use in a backlighted disco colour displaying light changer.
I’ve binged your channel. Waiting for a new one. Enjoyed this one
Thankyou
That last set looks pretty cool. They really look cool with the light!
So cool and fun to see the process to achieve what look you were going for! Thank you for showing us all of them at the end! The end product was awesome! I hope you are mending well. ☺️💜
Thanks Mel 😊 Yeah I'm recovering well 👍
@@BensWorx Wonderful to hear!
What a neat idea!
im glad you recovered!!
Thankyou
Oh my gosh! These are so gorgeous when lit up from with the little light.🎉❤ They're pretty cool without the light also.
Third time's a charm!! Awesome coasters!
Thankyou
I know I've already commented once before, and I haven't been subscribed for very long, but I really liked this one Ben. I've watched it a few times now.
Thankyou 😊
That was one awesome experiment! I like the last 3 the best!
Thanks Linda 😊
Love to see you back. Even in a limited capacity. Your music calms me.
Daaang those lit up ones look like a galaxy!
Love when Nicole joins you! Also love when you redo a project in a video. I like seeing all the different results ❤
I like the second try flipped paper side up.
Like you said my friend practice makes perfect and the more you do the better they got very cool, and they do look awesome with a light shining through.
Thanks Mate
Loved this video! I love that youve shown us the progress of experiments and explained what youve done each time to improve and get the result you wanted. We learn so much more from mistakes. Thanks again 😊

Thanks Richard
Brilliance just Brilliance. Grt effort on the other ones. 🎉🎉🎉
Great team work, nice to see your hands Nicole 😂Good experiment, a real learning tutorial and I love the result, just love it! Thank you both, have a good weekend 🌺
Thanks Alison 😊

It is great seeing you two doing projects together!!
Third time was a charm. Very nice!
Glad to see ya back in the shop Ben! Always good episode when Nicole shows up, even when it's just her hands 😅
Love the video, I hope you're healing up well. All of them do look good, clear on top could work just as well as black on top. Maybe try putting the film in a low heat oven to shrink it, see if it comes out any different?
WOW STUNNING 🤩
Those look great, Ben. You definitely nailed it on the third try. Looking at the tops, I like the second batch best.
Bill
Thanks Bill 😊
Well they look amazing to me
The first one you stuck on the light looks like a giraffe whilst on an acid trip 😂
Even when you're back on the lathe, I hope you'll keep making some videos like this too. I'm enjoying the variety. :)
The last of the bunch look amazing. But with the backlighting oh my goodness it looks absolutely gorgeous 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Good job guys very very pretty
Thankyou
I really like them! The smoky black and each one different but still the same kind of. And I like your tattoo 😊
ok i like the first and second for the front part (the second try looks amazing), the third is way more interesting when there's a light under them! cool project btw, and it's awesome to see nicole as well.

Wow looks amazing 👏
Thankyou
More of these projects please.❤
Wow looks amazing
Thankyou
Thanks for sharing your attempts at this. It helps to know that you just gotta try again when you dont like the results.
You are my favorite resin artist to watch! This was awesome, I can't wait for the next!
Thankyou
Remindes me of shrinking the empty potato chip bags when I was a kid. Loved the coasters that you both created, especially with the light shining underneath. Can't wait to see what you create next.
The clear sides looked best in my opinion, especially the green ones in the second batch.

Thanks Connie, that sounds cool
The way the black came out the first time looks cosmic or smokey with the film showing through, I liked it.
That third set is INCREDIBLE!
I don't know why, but I really enjoy it when Makers do videos with their significant others. It's fun.
They’re beautiful, the first set too
I really liked the 2nd set when they were "upside down"
I don't know if you watch Nick Zimetti or not but love his sound effects for dawning his gloves
Nicole should help more often. I like seeing you two work together.
I think you could do a really neat space lamp with this stuff once you can get back on the lathe
It's so nice that you show fail to getting it spot on 👌
Got to say I preferred the tops of coasters rather than the bottom but it’s a very good idea 💕🦆
I actually love the top a lot!!
That was a cool project! The last set definitely looks amazing with the light and the 2nd set looks awesome just looking at them the original way y'all did them without turning them over. If it don't work, try try again!!😜Love that Dichroic film.

Thanks Bobbi, It's always fun working with Nicole :)
I LOVE the 'bottoms' of the second try tho!! Awesome idea
Wow third time is a charm. They are so cool! Thanks Ben and Nicole! 😊
Thankyou
Those came out pretty neat, Ben! I hope you are recovering well or have fully recovered.
Thanks Mike, I’m recovering well
Lampshades made like this would be cool. The green light reflected onto the table when you're showing the light shining through them was rad.
At the beginning of the video, I was initially weirded out by how many hands Ben had. Then I heard Nicole's soothing voice.
This would look awesome as a lantern style, grab rectangle moulds, lights and and even experiment with different embeds textiles and you’d have a whole new project/collection to make and sell.
Also with the ‘failed’ attempts, could you sand the bottoms down until the colour come through?
NICOLE!!! I love seeing her on the channel, you both are so great together!!
Thankyou
Nice work Ben and Nicole! Honestly when you made a second batch I thought that the idea was that upward facing film will be the top of the coaster, not the bottom. 😮
The back light makes them shine like a nebula. 🌌
They All turned out really great I would put them together somehow and turn them into lamb
