- 281. ENDLESS Possibilities With This Resin Art Technique!
In todays Resin Art video, I show you how you can create crazy effects in your resin art with hairspray!
This time, we draw/trace an image using the hairspray directly onto a silicone mold.
This is incredible! Endless resin art designs and I now wonder if this would work for nail art! Nail artists....please try and tag me! Share amongst the nail art community and let's see how it works!
I will be looking into other ways of drawing with this, maybe empty felt Pens etc, a few options to be tested!
As mentioned, here's @marvelous4363 vid!:

If you are doing this, don't press too hard and as a viewer mentioned in the comments, a nail art paintbrush would be best 😁😁😁. I'm so sorry im behind with replying to your comments, its been a crazy week, will spend a day catching up this week 🥰
And you are the only one at this level who still responds and that truly is so appreciated and gives me mad respect for you! 🥰 Much love my friend 🤗
It's getting too much when you need to make time for replies. Would rather you used the time to create/family. We already know you appreciate every comment because that's your lovely nature Mr C.
@@cwv-artistry thank you 😊 It is getting harder 😔
@alisonmary1443 thanks Alison, it's definitely becoming more difficult.x
@@daniel..cooper no need to apologize ❤️. I understand
To bloody right, us Essex people have a great way of talking never change Dan for anyone!! We all luv ya xx
😂😂🤣
Hear hear! ❤
I agree! I get a kick out of dialect and find it very intriguing!
:)
I enjoy the accent. I can understand you, so that is all that matters.
Anyone who has an issue with the way you talk is just being picky. I rather enjoy your accent. You have a lovely voice and are an incredible teacher
Thanks Cindy 😁 😊
@@cindybrienze8723 Here, here!!
My sister called out to me from another room while I was watching your video last night and said she LOVES the accent of the man speaking, loves his accent, and his voice and laugh! I also find it you very pleasing to listen to! I would love hearing your voice narrating audiobooks! That would be next level awesome! Also...your hairspray creations are genius! 👍 (we are from Michigan, US)
Wow, thank you both 🥰
Me too. Northwestern MI. 👋
Somebody complained with the way you talk, Dan?? Er...WHY? I fell in love with your kindly, friendly, very clear-toned voice (& adorable accent)! Stayed for the Art and your chuckle-giggle. 😁💕👍
Daniel, I really love both heart pendants. As for the comment on your accent and choice of words... that person is an unhappy person. I pray they can find acceptance for themself and thus not have to put others down to try to feel better about themselves.
I've been too busy with other stuff to play with my resin, but I'll always follow and watch. Your endless curiosity is infectious, and I will always see you as the crazy professor you played that one episode. ❤
Soooo pretty Dan! ❤
You get most of my mornings lately. I appreciate your videos!
I like both of the pieces. This hairspray technique is absolutely wild in the amount of different ways to use it.
I have never had trouble understanding you. Don't change friend 😊.
✌️❤️🤣 peace, love and happiness
Hi Daniel, another cool technique. Thanks😊
Amazing❣️ I am going to try using my glass calligraphy pen & see how that works.
Being from Australia, I thoroughly enjoy your accent. ❤
😊 I love watching your videos
I really love the way you speak and it is very easy to understand
Love from Norway ❤
Thank you 😊 🫂
Thank you Daniel...❤
Love your videos and I love your accent too. Thank you so much for sharing.
That’s just so very cool! I wonder if a water brush, (one of those fillable paint brushes for watercolor painting) would work, they do have some fairly fine water brushes. Love how that second heart came out. ❤❤❤
Sod 'em Daniel, you are who you are n we luv ya that way x
like them both. Thank you for all the fantastic ideas!
You are so welcome! Thanks Carol 😁
Always love your videos. So smart 👍😃
Thank you! 🥰
Hello my name is Priscilla, I'm from the US and gotta say I love how you talk and really enjoy watching your videos, I have learned so much. Always looking forward to your videos, keep doing what you do, and thank you. 😊
Thanks so much Priscilla 😁 😂
🤩 love it! Thanks for sharing.😊👍
These are beautiful….too clever! Ps I love the way you talk so ignore the comment’s
I just say WOW!🤩👏🏻👍
Thanks Gina 😁
I’m new to resin. I’m enjoying your experiments. I never imagined all the different effects you have created.
I enjoy your accent. It reminds me of a dear lady now gone. She taught me to proper way to drink tea - strong with whole milk and sugar.
I’m from Elgin, Illinois, US.
I love your videos. I bought hairspray to play with. Doing my earrings, I do my layers with the resin, then I spray before it sets. It made my colors pop and separate. So cool, thank you
Highly recommend using a nail art (paint) brush.
Definitely, I had a go after filming this but I have ruined my brushes 🙈😂🤣
I was thinking this too :)
@@daniel..cooper wash them with soap spirit? Buy at chemist. I used to have to use it on old ladies who got their hair set (in rollers) on a Saturday, and topped up the hairspray every day until they came back a week later to get it reset! Honestly had hair like they were Lego men 😂 it was solid, but soap spirit washed all the hairspray out
Love watching you amazing 😊
Thanks Sharon 😁 😊
These are both stunning!! Can't wait to try this. 👍🏻
That was interesting, and for the "useful" attempt - that worked..well done. Another method to use.
Glad you liked it! Thank you 😊 🙏
I used my rubber stamps in hairspray the other day, Daniel . It worked great. Saturate to top of a Mr clean magic eraser. And stamp onto it. I had to put a piece of cloth over my satuated sponge before stamping into it, but it works
Perfect! Great idea, will 100% try these suggestions 🥰🙏 Thank you 😊 🙏
@linda48223
Another genius idea! 😊👍😍
Hi Daniel 😂had to laugh when you said people dont like the way you talk, iv had that too, im Scottish cant help my accent 😂 another awesome video thanks for sharing ❤ xx
People are just rude! 😂
I love the way you speak. Great video.
Thank you! 🥰
I love it! Talk the way you talk and do the way you do! I love your work and play!,
Thanks Debbie 😁 😊
I like listening to you talk. Don't listen to the rude people.
I've got two suggestions for this really cool idea you've done. What If you used a fountain pen to draw with the hairspray? They're designed to dip in ink and would be very precise. The other thought is, could you use a drop or two of alcohol ink in the hairspray so you can see easier where you've drawn?
As always, love your videos! 😊
Thanks Sheila, yes, I tried alcohol ink before and it does dry but haven't tried to make anything like this yet though 😁
CONVENIENT HACK. I was having difficulty pouring out resin from .5 gal bottles with my arthritic hands.
Got a pump each for the hardner & resin & can now easily just pump out accurate amounts needed. It is working ideally!
I can't believe how many people I've seen recently using your techniques. All the ones i saw did credit you as well which is lovely to see. I wonder just how many people are waiting for your next Eureka moment? You are the resin trendsetter
🥰🥰🥰 thank you 😊
Which is great to be inspired by Dan, but they should at least say 'inspired by @daniel..cooper! It's just decency to acknowledge someone else's ideas they're using.
I think most do, I haven't seen any recently who haven't 🥰
@@daniel..cooper It's really Lovely to see of the few "I follow and keep up with" what a fantastically kind and supportive group. I love that you support and encourage the work and YT communities of each other.
@@daniel..cooper That's a relief! One of the reasons I stopped posting my art online is because people were stealing selling it and not giving me any credit or money. So glad you're getting credit!
Stunning 😍 This is an epic technique. You've done it again!! 🎉
Thanks so much 😊
Both heart pendants look lovely❤
Tomāto/tomato…. Some people can’t think past the way they speak, as if there isn’t an entire world with different accents, dialects, slang….
Personally I always enjoy listening to the way you say things. I find it quite endearing.
Well said Kelly 😁😁😁
Coucou Dan .. toujours aussi incroyable .... C'est sublime !!!!!!" 🥰💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Loving this hairspray idea, in fact, going to see about doing a couple pieces for a craft show that's coming up on Sunday. Will post pictures in the group to show them off before I put them out for tourists to buy. As for your voice, it's soothing to me, but then again, I am guessing the jealousy trend is rearing it's ugly head again. Now to get to work making a couple more gaming dice, which I will post the ones I have done before, as I have a couple of questions on how to make them come out better. Thank you Daniel for all your hard (fun) work! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜🖤
Nice pieces Daniel, I hope someone can make the stamps work and shares the secret, as I can't draw or trace small detail due to a hand tremor. Thanks for all your ideas and experiments. BTW there's nothing wrong with how you speak and I second your sentiments on that score.
I may have a way since filming this 🥰 Vid will come once I'm happy with the process 🥰🫂
Try using a paintbrush to apply the hairspray to the stamps?
I wonder if using a glass tip pen would work with this ?? OMG the ppl that comment *badly* on they way you talk can go walk real quick off a high cliff. I LOVE your accent it reminds me of home. PLEASE PLEASE don;t change the way you talk !!! This hairspray stuff is just WOW even i can do it with my little uv resin setup i have hehehe I see the soldier !! lol I will have to try this and tag you on insta as i dont have a video thingy lol
Thanks Selene, it may work but it evaporates and dries so fast 🙈
This looks fun! And your voice is easy to listen to, sounds great! also I love your laugh! Your videos always make me smile 😊
These are stunning, great job as always, and don't change the way you talk for anyone you be you thats the way we love ya❤
Loving watching you experiments 👍You come up with some great idea's🤩
There is nothing wrong with the way you talk Daniel 😄
Thank you 😊 Some people are just rude 😂
Gorgeous results. 😊❤
Thank you! 😊
Oooh, the potential is great in this one 🤩
The way you speak is part of why I watch your videos.
Thank you 😊 🙏
Fantastic work as always, yet another technique to add to the ‘to try list’ I can’t keep up 😂 and yeah anyone who is rude and quite frankly pathetic enough to comment on the way a person speaks should absolutely DO ONE, couldn’t agree more you do you Dan that’s why you are as successful as you are ❤
Thank you 😊 🙏
You should try an eyeshadow applicator to buff the powders in. The sponge tip kind. I think you'll find it works a bit better with the powders. They are extremely inexpensive and effective.
Really cool! You can spray a paper towel with the hairspray and push your stamp into it. It will give you a lighter and more even coat. 😍
Or soak felt in hairspray, like an ink pad. Just keep it sealed up in a plastic zip-lock bag!
Great idea! 🤩🤩🤩
Another great idea! 🤩🤩🤩
@Soifdesang9
@daniel..cooper
Dan, I think we have another genius among us! AWESOME idea, Soif! Dare I say...GENIUS!! 😊👍😍
Love your accent. You sound very sophisticated ❤❤❤. I tried a technique similar to this to make swirls on a sphere mold. I haven't de-molded it yet because I had to use a deep pour resin due to it being so deep. I will be de-molding it tonight. Fingers 🤞🏼
Ooooh 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤩
❤🔥❤🔥 WOW, the possibilities are endless! Thank you Prof Cooper😎🤓🌟and I think that you have a awesome accent and you are an incredible teacher! I wouldn't be as confident in this art form or fallen in love with it as I have if it wasn't for you and your channel. Have a awesome week!
Thanks so much Samantha 😁
@@daniel..cooper 🤗
I love this technique!! Amazing! ❤
Thank you 😁 😊
They are both lovely!
Thanks Vickie 😁 😊
Another awesome idea to try! I enjoy listening to your accent, we left UK 20 years ago so it’s nice to hear the different British accents x
Thanks so much! 😊
Dan, love the way your brain works. Love the way you talk. I’m from the US, so I’m a sucker for a British accent. Love your experiments with hair spray. So cool.
Thanks Lauris 😁 😊 People can be so rude 😂
Another great directional video - Think you've earned the name Master Dan...
How dare people criticise how you speak, that's just rude!! As for your latest experiments Dan AMAZING, am defo going to try it tomorrow. Keep on being you Dan, we all ❤ & appreciate you. 😊
Thanks Wendy 😁 😊
Don't change for anyone, keep up the brilliant experiments, although from Yorkshire, I sound very similar to you, missing letters, sometimes whole words❤😂😂😂❤
I won't 😁😁😁
So BEAUTIFUL ❤❤❤❤ LOVE WATCHING YOU CREATE 😊😊😊 and you talk just fine
Thanks Tammy 😁 😊
Thank you Daniel! Never worry about your accent. It’s great! I remember when you first started you were conscious of saying white. I love your accent! Carry on being you!! 👍☺️ love the hairspray effects! 😊🫶🏻

Definitely worth a try 😁

One of the things I love most is that you are British. Please don't ever change how you talk!!🙏🙏
I always prefer B.E. over A.E., (I guess I'm a snob in that way.)🤔🙈🤷♀️😅
