@@mattersofthehartbynat8815 I think they're saying that, instead of using the green chameleon flakes, you could put a picture and have the stencil make like a window/frame to see the photograph through. (At least that's how I imagine it working)
I love this! After the 8 sprays…I had a flashback to what I’d do every morning to my parents bathroom countertop in the ‘80’s! 😂 Can’t wait to try this!
If you take Mod Podge spray it will do it with one spray because its wide and slow at the same time. I tried this instead of hairspray which of course doesnt work for the textured hairspray effect. But my acrylic varnish will do the same thing. Pretty cool.
@mattersofthehartbynat8815 Thanks Nat! I use it to suspend the dandelions and then just to "finish" off my UV resin jewelry or instead of lacquer to make something shiny.
I’m so glad you took the time to show this video. Not all resin artists influencers will take the time to show newbies how to create basic items. I, myself who started with resin, then went into all sorts of more advanced projects, and other mediums still haven’t made bookmarks with my molds. 😊…. Lovely pieces. Mermaid is cute…
I certainly did like this, sparkle, colour change, depth and resin what's not to like, glad you can't be changed. 12:08 poP, I also emphasise the "p" only to myself cos no one is listening 🤣Great work Mr C 💖
You could definitely make that look 3d ! 1st layer the outside of the stencil 2nd layer the leaves 3rd layer the trunk of the tree!!! Would be insanely beautiful too
I wish that I was just 1/4 talented as you are. Shoot even 1)8 wiuld be amazing! Thank you from all us out there whi are si thankful for your brain & your experinents so we can see someone do what we always are scared to try on our own! Thank you for sharing!
The depth of the design is fantastic ❣️ And thanks for the tips on demolding and starting at lower wattage with the lamp💥 You never cease to amaze Daniel❣️
I love this. And I just had a thought. When you were talking after the first layer of chameleon flakes, when you said that you added uv but it mixed with the flakes weird. What if...after that first layer, we spray a couple sprays of the hairspray to hold down the flakes. Let dry. Then add a thin layer of uv resin and then just do the 10 second cure on a low power with the magic cure. The 2nd layer of flakes would stick then. Idk, got my mind following along though. I may give this a try really soon. 😁
This is exactly what I had in mind from a few videos ago 😄 I wonder just how far the effect can be taken and how many layers you can get and still have an idea of what is there. Thanks for taking the time to make the video for us👍
You know, it would be even more interesting if you did more than one stencil layer. That is, do a stencil + hairspray on the mould, brush on your powder, do a thin layer, and then do *another* stencil + hairspray on *that* layer, brush on a different powder, do another thin layer, then brush on a third powder, another thin layer, and then do the backing layer. Of course you'd have to pick two stencils that looked good overlapping each other, but I think it would be worth a try.
Stunning effect! Beautiful colours! Love this! I’ve plenty of unused hair lacquer that I no longer use, unless for the odd occasion, as I’ve long hair.thanks Dan. 👍☺️🫶🏻
Incredible crispness and depth. Well done Daniel, and I am excited to see the videos you have planned, with lol of the maxing ideas swirling around in your creative mind

That is neat!! You could even make a picture frame like that.
Thanks, yes, 100% 😁
Hiya… could you explain what you mean by make a picture frame? 🙏 ♥️♥️🇦🇺

Awesome, does it dry completely clear? I must get some if it does 🥰 Thank you
