Wow, you do things that I would never think of! I have tried the resin in the same type of bottles but cannot get it to flow out. I did cover the bottles but I am using High Viscosity UV resin. Would using a lower viscosity resin help it flow better? Thanks Dan!
I wanted to let you know how much I love this idea! I had decided to make resin book covers as a gift for my grandkids to give their moms. I was going to embed their fingerprints (your idea) with mica powder/uv resin. Now I’m going to add their signatures and put them next to their fingerprints! All inspired by you! Thanks so much!!
Okay... you need to work with Let's Resin to create a delivery mechanism/pen that is refillable with UV resin. This idea is epic and you are the Resin King!
This is how I trace patterns on glass (after a primer for adhesitive). Then I fill it in with colored resin for stained glass pieces. They are a definite hit and I have enough requests to keep me busy for a year 🤣 I use bronze, gold or black for the outline. Rock on Daniel, you da resin man! 💞
Loved all 3! Keyboards warriors never win darlin unless we let them effect us! I adore you and so does sooooo many other people so don't let one hater spoil anything you are fantastic to watch and I always enjoy whatever you come up with! Much love ❤❤❤❤❤🤗
Well done Daniel! I could easily see you combining this technique with the paper clip bezel technique. Awesome way to create something custom made that is uniquely yours. Even if someone is using the exact same technique, it will never be exactly the same.
If you are using the heart mold, you could leave out the resin heart and use a 3rd flower - since the shape already shows the theme. However the drawing & writing with resin is really cool.❤
Wow ❤. I don't know why anyone has an issue with you using a black background. Black usually gives the best contrast for bright colors - making them pop.
I think your page is my most favorite. I learn something every single time I watch your videos (which obviously is why you make them) and I love everything you do! Thank you for making this channel! ❤
In addition to being a crazy good artist, you have beautiful handwriting as well! Love, love, love this idea, so many possibilities.I’m also wondering since you’ve been in your new studio for a while now if we could get a little tour, I’d very much like to see how you have everything set up..thanks Daniel for another amazing trip down resin lane with you! 👍❤️
This is brilliant! The possibilities are endless! Have you experimented with toilet paper in resin, like paper mache? I know you have to be careful adding glue to resin, but if you do a layer of resin and let it cure, then add a layer of paper mache, I feel like you could use it to make a cool tye-dye design, but I haven't had a chance to try it.
Can we just talk about Daniel's beautiful hand writing? 😅 Daniel, what a GREAT idea to squish the needle tip! What an amazing difference in control! 😊💕 I've got those bottles, so will give this a go. 👍 Also great to know those inclusions float. And they look 3D...LOVE that! ❤ That pendant is STUNNING! Turned out great...of course. 😁😍👍 I prefer the black-backed wording to the clear. Hey...I wonder? What would white lettering, coated in white mica or interference powders, then the pendant backed in black, look like?
That heart is amazing. Something different for you, when you made you abalone shell ring, you used resin all the way. I experimented with Elmer's glue, that worked well, but sometimes the black marker pen I used for the colorant rubbed off. Today I found some very narrow doubjle sided clear glue tape stuff, had to cut it narrower and used that. The shell stuck very well, then just dabbed a little gold dust between some of the shell pieces before I put the uv rein coat on. What a game changer.
Thanks Sue, no, can be any color background 😁 Just be careful they colors just do not clash etc, like, don't use blue writing with a blue background I mean 😂
Cool! I have doctor handwriting so I might need to put an image underneath and trace, but I have a computer with fonts! Thanks for the brilliant idea!! Hugs from 🇨🇦
Best idea in ages and that’s saying something! So many possibilities this opens up, and I love the creation of an italic pen nib by squishing the tube. Tiny thing to note: With calligraphy, counter-intuitively, it’s more like drawing than actual writing, the letters with bowls like o and e are drawn in two (or more) separate strokes. So for an e, start with a c, lift the pen and then go clockwise from the top end of the c back to its middle to make a lowercase e. If you cure after the first stroke the bowls will (should!) never fill again! Going to try this asap. 🎉
Wow!!! The amount of hacks you figure out is astounding!!! Thank you for everything you teach us!!!❤ Sadly my handwriting is brutal! My fine motor skills are damaged! I’ve decided working with resin will help rebuild them.
Oh my goodness, I love it! I've been using the UV nail foil glue with tiny brushes, and while it works, I think this will help a lot with different applications. Daniel, you are a rockstar! No, seriously,... I appreciate you and your experiments so much! ✨🙏✨💖🫂Thank you!!!😊
Hey that would be really pretty if you backed it with the cats eye gel polish the color shift would be pretty as the back ground! Just a suggestion the black is pretty as well!! 🌻🌻🌻
@@daniel..cooper yea I wasn’t sure if I should suggest the cat eye gel at all cuz you had just said something about people saying you used black to much! I thought he’s gonna I think the same thing about the black! But I never really thought about it and I’ve pretty much binged watched your videos! I just thought the color shift would be pretty as the back ground! This is really cool though I have all kinds of nail chrome colors as well that will be super pretty! Thanks for sharing the things you try! I’ve learned a lot!!
That is fantastic. You give us amateurs so many ideas to make products that look amazing and with your explanations on when, how etc really fills us with the confidence to try it. Keep up the great work. 👍
Black is my favorite color and I have problem when can not find nor wear it everyday. So seeing it in art work and being use for resin it's GREAT!!!!!! I just crack the code on UV RESIN and black pigment paste last nite make a pendant, thanks to watching Daniel. 💜
Wow, you do things that I would never think of! I have tried the resin in the same type of bottles but cannot get it to flow out. I did cover the bottles but I am using High Viscosity UV resin. Would using a lower viscosity resin help it flow better? Thanks Dan!
Hi Deb, yes, 100%, the Resin Rockers Clear Hard is really low viscosity, otherwise, you could try warming your bottle first to lower the viscosity 😁
@@daniel..cooper Perfect, Thanks! 😊 🫂
@debbrady497 Very welcome Deb 😁
Thank you! I really enjoyed that and hope to give it a try soon!
What a wonderful idea!
I "love" it!! my first thought was I can trace over my late husband's handwriting (love) and make myself a pendant. 😍😍💕💕❤❤ Thank you!
What a beautiful idea! 🥰🥰🥰

Your talent dad is stunning! You are so inspiring xx
Thank you for this idea! I'm going to do this with my late mother's handwriting!

100% will be trying to make one myself, have some bits on their way to start testing 😁😁
