On meals like this, I freeze the meat patties and the gravy separately. Since there are just 2 of us most days, I freeze 2 patties to a pack and then small batches of gravy. I use my food sealer. Greatest invention and investment ever. Your food looks great Noreen. Thanks for taking the time to share with us.

This recipe is *very* flavorful and delicious! It also freezes well. I served this to my son and his wife a couple weeks ago. Both loved it! My son gave it 5 stars and he’s not prone to rave about anything. Thanks Noreen for posting. (I’m currently dehydrating onions so I can make your onion soup mix. I love having things on hand so I don’t have to run to the store for basics. Saves a ton of money also.)

Salisbury is a family favorite in our house. I’ve never it homemade though 😔 Our dad was a great cook. However, I was a tomboy and didn’t realize the importance of knowing how to cook, so I had (and still do) to rely on my RUclips chefs and friends. I have been watching your channel for years and every single recipe of yours that I’ve made has been devoured by my family 😋 I can hardly wait to make this for them. I have just a few spices/seasonings that I have to restock (marjoram, garlic flakes and the beef broth powder- - which is a good thing, because that means I’m constantly using up the spices you have filled my cabinet with throughout the years, lol) to refill the onion soup mix and steak rub.
I’m contemplating what homemade vegan mock meat to make to replace for my portions. I already know I’m going to make a big batch of the vegan patties and freeze them for future use- as well as the ground beef patties, lol). This is dish brings back so many childhood memories. Salisbury steak and tuna (egg-noodle) casserole were my favorites growing up!
Thank you for these timeless, and of course, ALL, the recipes and videos you post for us ♥️
    Blessings ~

So sorry to hear about your mama. I lost daddy in 96 and mama in 04. I miss them every day. I was so surprised when you said you don’t put ketchup on your meatloaf. My mama never did and I don’t either. Friends always think my meatloaf is weird because no ketchup....... until the taste it.

Hi Noreen! You are my absolute favorite go to on cooking and recipes! Please continue to share more videos using your copper chef cookware! If I am making a cake in a copper chef 9 1/2" square is it necessary to try and oil the pan and flour it or just throw the cake batter in the pan. I'm sorry I know it sounds like a pretty dumb question but I'm at a lost and want to ask a pro before I find out the hard way, lol. Thanks, Lisa
