This is a recipe that I have been seeing for some time on the internet and Pinterest for Million Dollar Chicken Casserole. I did try it early on but wasn't quite captivated by it's flavors. So recently I decided to try it again and put my own spin on it. I only changed a few things but now I think we have a winner. It is so easy to make and I think y'all will love it. Let me know what you think of this version and if you change it up any or not. Have a great day y'all.

Pre plan the amount of bacon to about 2-3 strips more than you are going to use. These are known as the sacrificial bacon. This allows for optimal bacon consumption while not losing out on the recipe.

I was raised on pamento and cheese. And I raised my girl's on it too. My oldest daughter moved to PA, and they didn't have any up there, so I gave her my recipe, so she made it, and her hubby loved it, but he doesn't care much for boiled peanuts and she can't find them anywhere in Pa so I make them vacuum sealed and I sent her some for her and 2 granddaughters who love them as well. I also make Cajun boiled peanut to and those were her favorite. But she lost her battle with breast cancer she was 33 years old and the girl's were 13yrs old and 9yrs old when their mom passed away. But I still send them and they love them the oldest one knows what to do with them.❤

You know that she was in a lot of pain near the I whispered in her ear that I would be okay if she wanted to let go. She was worried about me because when my dad died I went to a very dark place and she was worried about me because she didn't want my to do what I did when my dad died my girl's were young and I don't remember much about my dad's death because they had to sedate me. I am a Rn, and when I saw my dad. He had needles e everywhere, and I started to pull them out because he hated needles. I started CPR, and they pulled me off of him, and I just lost it, and they held me down to give me an injection to stop me from them, taking my dad to the morgue. He died from the widow maker he was dead before he hit the floor. He died 2 days before Christmas, and I didn't want to do anything for Christmas for years. But I got me some grandchildren and I live for them and I would do anything for them.

I've made the same casserole but w/o bacon. I seasoned with either sage, tarragon or dill, salt & pepper. I then added partly steamed broccoli (sometimes I include finely chopped sweet onions) to the chicken mixture, topping it off with a packagel of stove top or homemade stuffing mix. Bake @ 350° until bubbly on the sides.

We make our own chicken bone broth. We use it to cook noodles just enough to cover because the noodles absorb all of it. Our dog eats the soft bones & wants more. We get costco rotisserie chickens 4 or 5 at a time, bone & freeze in zip bags & put the bones & skin & filtered water in our crock pot or instant pot. So easy & so good.

    in season.
I make a similar casserole you might try.
Use less cooked chicken, add soups, poultry seasoning, on top of cooked egg noodles, top w seasoned or plain Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix, butter, bake.
When serve add big dollop of sour cream on top.

I always cut my raw bacon in pieces then fry it and you can then save the bacon drippings to fry the best potatoes or dispose it. Then drain them on paper towel. Then you don’t have crisp bacon breaking and flying away as you try to cut it in dice because you already diced it.

    Hi from NE Ga!
    Yum, looks great! 👍
And you used ingredients on hand at home!
Pimento cheese is the bomb. Good on hot dogs, tomato & pimento cheese sandwiches, everything. I prefer the hot pimento cheese.
    Glad I found your channel!
I try not to use my oven during hot weather. I’m more into skillet, stovetop meals in summer.
    I’ll try this this winter.
    Thanks!
