Lol honestly I disown that clone, I would never keep shooting lightning out unless it’s a case where I’m convincing a certain someone only I can save their wife.
@@chrisramos3454 she trained with luke for hours and trained herself for a little under a year an still didn’t even know how to swing a lightsaber vs debatably the most powerful sith ever luke had to train for 10 years to be able to contend with him but a girl who just little under a year ago didn’t even know Jedi existed cross lightsabers an magically beat him? 😂 yea keep making excuses
When the jedi confronted sidious he also used force scream along side force speed. Force sream released all his hatred and grief into the jedi leaving them stunned. Thats how he killed them so easily
@@dougbright4387 True. And I am of the belief that Mace Windu actually did beat Sidious in that duel, HOWEVER, Palpatine could feel Anakin coming and wanted to make Mace look like a hypocrite and his actions in wanting to kill Sidious which fed into Anakin's already strained trust. Personally, I wonder if Mace had also taken Anakin with him if that would have changed everything and how. If Mace just showed a little trust in Anakin, which he admitted he didn't trust Anakin when he was telling Anakin to stay back while he and the other three confronted Sidious and that if Sidious did turn out to be a Sith lord, that Anakin would have earned Mace's trust. Problem is, what did Anakin ever do to Mace that made Mace not trust him? I think that was part of the problem in the first place. And Palpatine causing a rift by forcing the masters to let Anakin sit in as Palpatine's "representative," and so of course the Jedi are going to be pissed Palpatine is telling the Jedi who they have to have on the high council and by refusing to give him the title of Master, it played right into Palpatine's hand.
Palpatine's true power was in manipulation. This is the guy who played the entire Jedi Order, the Republic and the CIS like a fiddle without them even noticing. He took over the Republic and turned it into a dictatorship without having to stage a coup or anything like that. He was offered total power. That and being a literal monster when it came to using the Force. He could stand toe to toe with Yoda both in lightsaber combat and in using the Force and even enjoyed the fight while Yoda was losing more and more ground. He delved deeper into the mysteries of the Force than anyone before him and unlocked abilities which could devour planets.
@@brandonnappier6809 Mace disarmed him. Doesn't mean Sidious was done. The Sith constantly remind their true students that the most powerful weapon they have will always be the dark side.
Palpatine is by far the perfect example and definition of Sith Sorceror. His usage of Force Lightning and Force draining techniques as shown by his appearances in Dark Empire prove he is one the most powerful individuals in Star Wars history.
I’ll probably get trolled for saying this, but I consider Sidious to be even more powerful than the ancient Sith Lords like the Sith Emperor and others.
TheWarner213 before episode 1-3 existed it has been stated that he is the most powerful Sith, in SW Canon this is already outdated, George Lucas and Disney have confirmed that Vader overpowered him, and that Plagueis was also more powerful and skilled than him. And in Legends he is indeed very powerful, but still not even close to the powers and skills of the ancient sith and Jedi. He also confirms that a lot of old sith are more powerful than him. However he is still a smart and strong Sith Lord.
Ryan O'Toole the rule of two weakended the Sith, it went completely wrong, they lost a lot of knowledge, but therefore the sith stayed hidden and got political power through Plagueis and Sidious work
@Ryan O'Toole well in Legends Canon there was a Sith who betrayed the Sith Order and destroyed much of their Holocrons and plans, thus setting back the Sith Grand Plan for centuries. Vader's redemption and killing of the Emperor highlighted the greatest weakness of the Banite Sith Order: their vulnerability derived from a lack of numbers.
The Scoundrel's Cantina I feel Palpatine was only thrown in last second because of how badly The Last Jedi messed up. I pity episodes 7 and 9. TFA showed promise even though it was shaky, I still had hope. TLJ- TOTAL GARBAGE! TROSky- spent so much time trying clean the Fallout from TLJ, and trying to fix things and be new cause TLJ hit the hard reset button. So it all felt rushed. TLJ SUCKED.
The jedi didnt really train as much for fighting other force users as the sith did. I think this is the main thing that made palpatine so powerful. The jedi were arrogant and unprepared
The Jedi were arrogant in some ways, but not in this circumstance. There was no need to fight other Force users as much as blaster wielding opponents. The Sith had not been seen by the Jedi at all for almost 1,000 years and were thought to be completely extinct. Imagine if there was some medieval entity that had not been seen since the year, 1020 A.D. and you recommended training for people or nations in order to be prepared to face it. That sounds very impractical.
This is almost true. Windu taught Vaapad to his Padawan Depa Billaba and developed it with the help of Sora Bulq. Bulq taught some of the Vaapad moves to Quinlan Vos. But all in all, Windu was the master of it and widely considered the founder of the form.
In the book of sith there is a side note about how Dath Bane's instructor ( in lightsaber combat) called it Vapaad. So he may not be the founder, he might have rediscovered and adjusted it
@@J99___ Yeah I know. I was only talking about force users, who are not some sort of gods. And yeah the father, the mother, the son and the daughter are their only rivals. Perhaps the bedlam spirits and the force priests too.
I hate to be that guy but... Vaapad is a unique variant of form 7. It's never been used by Darth Sidious. In fact Mace Windu is one of the only three who has ever used it(his apprentice was one). He specifically came up with it because of his own darkness within himself which is expressed in his purple lightsaber Edit: I just remembered that in legends General Grievous briefly learned the basic sequences of Vaapad. So he technically used it too but only because he was imitating Mace Windu.
Facts...this guy fucked up when he said vapaad. Only 2 jedis have ever used vapaad. Mace windu and his friend who was a jedi and turned to the dark side.
@@gr6gh I just added it but General Grievous briefly used it as well. Totally slipped my mind. Was only in legends tho. Unlikely to be able to use it in cannon
Peple often forget old Palps was able to influence and orchestrate his military forces across the entire galaxy in large scale engagements, allowing his armies and fleets coordinate with near perfect harmony. This is why as individuals Imperials could seem dimwitted and slow but as a collective they were extremely effective en'masse.
Battle Meditation skill is what you refer to partially. But yes, Palp was THE Master of Mind Trick. Strongest Force Lightning. And freaking insanity on Telekinesis.
During the duel in Palpatine's office he was moving so quickly that Anakin actually compared it to fading out of existance, he once destroyed all life on a planet with his mere presence and left said planet a shell and stalemated Grand Master Yoda and made a complete fool out of 3 of the strongest jedi of the era and had a lengthy lighsaber duel with Mace Windu now Mace actually did beat Papatine legitimately I know this will be a unpopular point but it did happen. It was stated by Vader that Sidious was the strongest sith lord and was stated by many other's as well now both Vitiate and Sidious are described in this way as being avatars of the dark side it's up to all of you on the last point
Is this from the previous version of the script where Palpatine used Anakin's lightsaber? Because in the official one and its novelizations, Anakin only arrives when Palpatine is on the ground with Windu over him
Palpatine is the strongest villain in all of Star Wars that’s always what it was supposed to be they gave him mastery over all lightsaber combat forms and incredible strength in the force with mastery over almost all force powers
Palpatines my favorite sith because he fulfilled his full potential. He is ambitious, ruthless, passionate and an intellectual minded genius mastermind, a true villian who is a very interesting character.
@@reginaldshort8486 well it was said that he learned everything from his master. But please tell me if I am wrong and it was stated somewhere that he couldn't influence the midichlorians
@@darthsidious8703 No. He told Anakin he learned everything from his master but he was lying. He never mastered MIDI-clorine manipulation and was forced to use essence transfer into clone bodies. Look In the novel Darth Plagueis.
Slight correction, Palpatine knew Juyo but only mace new Vapad. Mace created it channel the dark side energy of palpatine and within himself to use it against a dark sider. Lucas himself stated in his eyes Mace actually beat palpatine. Also it’s very possible Yoda was strong enough to beat him had palpatine not changed to battle to the senate floor. Other than that it’s a good video.
Yoda says in the book he probably could have beaten Sidious but on the off chance he got it wrong, he risked too much knowledge being lost. He nearly beats Sidious in that clone wars episode but needed to stop fighting to save Anakin, this guy references that episode and leaves that part out. Windu clearly had him in trouble, book says Windu thought Anakin would back him up and thought Sidious had miscalculated Anakin. Windu had him on the ground with a saber in his face. George Lucas clearly doesn't know Starwars as well as this guy. He should have checked with him before making a comment on his own film.
I heard Disney realized how many people hate the new movies so there giving George the creative ability to rewrite what they messed up and make new movies but it’s just a rumor
He's one of the strongest force users ever, even compared to some old EU badasses like Vitiate, Kreia, and the overpowered Galen Marek. He's also really smart, one of the best villains ever made. Disney resurrected him in episode 9 because they never created a decent villain: George created Sidious, Vader, Dooku, Maul and others. Disney created Snoke, Kylo and the inquisitors. It's not a good saga with bad villains.
The Dark Lord once levitated the super star destroyer Lusankya and buried it in Coruscant after that he wiped Billions of minds to make them forget what happened.
For all his fantastical powers, his ability to foresee the future was probably his greatest ability along with force cloak...those 2 things allowed him to trick the jedi and be one step ahead of them at all times. Beyond that he was just intelligent, the jedi was relying on the force so much, had they just use some common sense they could have figured out the truth before being at death's door.
Wait did palpatine call me a barbarian again. Hes always so mean to his apprentices. Anyways where are the younglings so i can get them into my basement to slaughter
YODA was the best lightsaber duelist in history. Thats why Palpatine had to put his lightsaber away and resort to force powers BOTH times they fought. 🙄
Alex As not “most likely”. He would lose and did. Lol Palp has only bested 1 character on screen with a lightsaber and that was Savage Opress. Sidious isnt THAT good of a duelist. Hes just an extremely powerful sith sorcerer. Which is why him and Mother Talzin were friends, because they studied and were strong in the same aspect of the force.
Taylor Williamson He just never fights. When he does he is an actual beast. Killing 3 of the strongest Jedi masters in seconds. Not to mention he mastered every single lightsaber form.
no. Mace also disarmed him my guy. Geroge came out and said Mace beat Palpatine in their duel. Obviously Yoda is a mainstream easy giveaway man like come on be less original...
I'd say in specifically lightsaber skill Yoda is probably more powerful than sidious since in the junior novelization of their duel sidious was disarmed and in the movie it cuts away and then he no longer has/uses his saber. I also think Yoda had more experience and training with a l lightsaber to where I've always thought he was the best duelist in history. Though sidious does still have more powerful force abilities
As far as I know, Vapaad was pretty rare and exclusive to Mace? I thought it channeled the enemy's dark energy through Mace so that rather than trying to fight it, it flows through him like he is a conductor and he can turn that energy back out against his opponent. This is the only reason I think Mace very well could have beaten Sidious in a light saber duel is that the harder Sidious tried and the more dark energy he put out, it strengthens Windu that much more. However, it seems pretty obvious that Sidious could feel Anakin's location and presence and so he threw the fight right before Anakin walked in on purpose. But anyway, yeah, I didn't think Sith's used vapaad because they already fight with dark energy all the time so I don't see vapaad doing any good to a Sith unless there is a Sith version where they take a jedi's peace and selflessness and channel it back onto a Sith but I don't see how that could work.
Anyone notice B2 Battle-Droids sound similiar to B1s' in Episode III; but their Vocabulators are waaay deeper in the Game and Television-Show? It's like They lost Their "Nuts" near the End of the Clone-Wars! xP
His use of Force Fire or Pyrokinesis was always brief, because even he was susceptible to the flame if he didn’t keep it in check at all times. Plus, it’s believed that his concealment was helped by the dark energy that emitted from the Sith Temple inside of the Jedi Temple. Still though, Sidious is truly one of a kind.
Great video but I feel I must point out an error vaapad was created by Mace Windu and he was it's only master Citius only knew the standard seventh form of lightsaber combat
You have to remember he also had access to ancient secrets and alot of info on both sides , He studied technique that were forbidden and thought impossible.
Rudra Mazumder I have to agree. The difference, in my mind, is the characters freedom to emote and just “chew the scenery” Ewalds McGregor was stifled by having to play such a bland character.
Unexpected Christianity jumpscare lmao! Nicely documented. I also agree that while it makes no sense for George Lucas to say Palpatine lost to Windu, the "in my eyes" part of his statement might be the key to it: it's poetic. Maybe a sort of headcanon of his, that he is presenting as such? It would make more sense, I think, rather than Lucas meaning to retcon the scene. In RoTS, it is so painfully obvious that Palpatine is lying to manipulate Anakin that it's almost cringe watching his "im sooo weaaaaaaak oh noooo"! :p especially after his prowess in TCW. I really don't believe for a second that Windu won and it *just so happened* to put everyone exactly where Palpatine wanted.
he says multiple times that Palpatine is the most skilled lightsaber duelist in galactic history then just brushes past the fact that both Windu and Yoda defeated him in their duels, forcing him to use the force instead.
I thought the emperors lightsabers were made out of electrum? The same gold stuff on mace’s saber he made them from electrum to simply mock the Jedi as electrum was only given to the most gifted duellists in the order
Palpatine didn't know Vaapad. He only knew Juyo which is wild and aggressive, and lacks a defensive stance. Mace Windu created Vaapad which is a refined form of Juyo that included aspects of Soresu, Shien, and Niman. This is why Mace Windu defeated him.

There is no source that confirms Sidious used Vaapad. He is confirmed by the Essential Guides and source books that he is a master of all lightsaber forms with the exception of Vaapad as that was a separate fighting style under the title of Form 7 created by Mace Windu and taught to only a select few like Sora Bulq, Quinlan Vos, and Depa Billaba.
Soooo, Sidious is a master of telekinesis, yet didn't think of ripping a chunk of metal out of the walls during his fall and levitate on it, portable high ground style. And he can fly, yet also didn't think to do so during the same fall? What happened there, did Vader force slam him down there so hard he couldn't retaliate?

We just wanted to update it to the best quality we can since we greatly care about every single frame of each of our videos. You can expect remasters of older videos as well from time to time. I can understand that Vaapad & Juyo were used by both, but what about Form 6, Niman? It was a "way to great skill without power or aggression", seemingly the antithesis of Sith doctrine. Curious
I think that Luke in the EU at his peak was stronger than palpatine, but other than that, no one can compare to him (excluding the one’s, aboloth and other characters of that nature)
As a duelist Sidious was below Yoda who disarmed him, Mace who arguably defeated him in their duel, and Vader, who after losing most of his connection to the force was forced to rely mostly on his skill with a lightsaber. As a force user no one comes close to him. Not even Yoda.
He was at the same level than Yoda in ROTS (was literally confirmed in the novel) but the difference is that Sidious kept growing his power even more and Yoda didn't. If in ROTS Sidious was at the same level as Yoda, he clearly became more powerful than him in a few years later

Palpatine was not feigning weakness. George Lucas himself said that Mace Windu legitimately beat Palpatine in that duel only being saved by Anakin Skywalker. If not for Anakin, Palpatine would have died right there.
No its the result of an emotional feedback loop. Being enraged is an emotional state, but when you get the Force involved, the Force can actually amplify your rage, blowing it out of proportion. Your potency in the Force can then be increased by harnessing that amplified rage as a "fuel source".
In a pure canon perspective, I think the son is significantly stronger than sidious. Technically, anything sidious could do to the son would not effect, him due to the sons incredible invulnerability. Due to anakins chosen one midichlorian count, he was the only one (besides the father) to tame the Ones once he unlocked his full potential for a short amount of time. In other words, the son is like thanos, and sidious is like Thor (pre storm breaker).
Most powerful Sith (Canon): 1. Darth Sidious (who is the emperor himself, survived death, and could create Force Storms) 2. Darth Vader (who is 80% as powerful as the most powerful Sith in history) 3. Darth Revan (embraced both the Light and Dark Sides of the Force, and found a path of his own) 4. Darth Plagueis the Wise (he could influence the midichlorians to create... life) 5. Darth Bane (founder of the Rule of Two philosophy, who even survived death itself) 6. He is a master duelist, but if his power in the force were even one tier lower, around Dooku or Plo Kloon's level, he'd be beaten like a red-headed stepchild.

I’ll probably get trolled for saying this, but I consider Sidious to be even more powerful than the ancient Sith Lords like the Sith Emperor and others.
@@Vagus32000 You're not wrong though. In both continuities he is definitely stated and confirmed to be the most powerful Sith lord of all time.

The jedi didnt really train as much for fighting other force users as the sith did. I think this is the main thing that made palpatine so powerful. The jedi were arrogant and unprepared
True, though of course it doesn’t mean the Jedi were completely helpless
The Jedi were arrogant in some ways, but not in this circumstance. There was no need to fight other Force users as much as blaster wielding opponents. The Sith had not been seen by the Jedi at all for almost 1,000 years and were thought to be completely extinct. Imagine if there was some medieval entity that had not been seen since the year, 1020 A.D. and you recommended training for people or nations in order to be prepared to face it. This is almost true. Windu taught Vaapad to his Padawan Depa Billaba and developed it with the help of Sora Bulq. Bulq taught some of the Vaapad moves to Quinlan Vos. But all in all, Windu was the master of it and widely considered the founder of the form.

Vaapad is a unique variant of form 7. It's never been used by Darth Sidious. In fact Mace Windu is one of the only three who has ever used it(his apprentice was one). He specifically came up with it because of his own darkness within himself which is expressed in his purple lightsaber

Short answer: Very very powerful

YODA was the best lightsaber duelist in history. Thats why Palpatine had to put his lightsaber away and resort to force powers BOTH times they fought. 🙄
He didnt put it away yoda disarmed him
Was looking for something like this, yoda forced palpatine to use force, because sheev would most likely loose in a lightsaber combat
Finally the Senate gets the fully explained recognition he deserves! Awesome work on the video friend. :D

I also agree that while it makes no sense for George Lucas to say Palpatine lost to Windu, the "in my eyes" part of his statement might be the key to it: it's poetic. Maybe the reason why the commission of Order 66 in TCW is different from how it was portrayed in Republic Commando: Order 66 and the rest of the multimedia project was because the clones were bread to be obedient to the republic even it meant obeying the orders of killing their Jedi companions for them and as a safety precaution in case any of the clones would try to disobey Order 66 they were all given inhibitor chips inside them since their early stages of development in order to do their jobs and maybe the reason why some of the clones from the multimedia project disobeyed Order 66 was because they either removed their inhibitor chips like what Rex and the other clones did after hearing about it from Fives or some of the chips inside the clones were just not working which caused some of the clones especially the ones we see in the multimedia project to have free will when given the order and is the reason some of the clones disobey Order 66 as the reason Omega Squad disobeyed the order was because they removed their inhibitor chips after finding out about it along with Rex and some of the other clones.
Maybe the reason why the ARC Troopers in the 2003 series and ones the 2008 series are different from each other was because during the clone wars there were separate different variants of ARC Troopers with the ones from the 2003 series being variants who were bread to become ARC Troopers from Jango Fett and the ones from the 2008 series being separate variants who become ARC Troopers by training under Alpha 17 after Jango’s Death earning their ranks and being deemed worthy of becoming one.
In the episode Old Friends Not Forgotten maybe while during the Battle of Coruscant Mace Windu after losing contact with Shaak Ti would inform Yoda to have order a certain amount of the Jedi to make it back to Coruscant for battle (as seen in the end of The Labyrinth Of Evil novel) as (in the TCW episode Old Friends Not Forgotten) Yoda would inform Obi Wan that chancellor had been kidnapped in as Obi Wan would then go to Anakin and inform him about the both of them leaving to go save the chancellor as Anakin leaves Ashoka and splits the 501st army something involving Anakin’s new robot arm he got after his original one was destroyed the Battle Of Nelvaan starts going wrong as in turns out his new arm isn’t quite fully fixed yet and needs a bit more adjustments and so before Anakin can leave to save the chancellor (as seen in Clone Wars 2003) goes to some lab to get his arm fixed by R2D2 as Obi Wan then finds him and starts giving him a speech about choices and destinies to cheer him up about Ashoka after which R2D2 then starts picking up signal as Mace Windu after having found Shaak Ti all tied up and started gaining signal decides to give Anakin and Obi Wan an emergency message in case Yoda would have failed to get it across as Mace Windu without realizing they already know their mission informs Anakin and Obi Wan about having to come to Coruscant to go rescue the chancellor as Anakin then orders half the 501st to get in their position and to prepare for hyperspace as we then get to ROTS

Just so you know guys this is a HD Remaster of all Clone Wars scenes in our How Powerful Is Darth Sidious video which we released in december. We just wanted to update it to the best quality we can since we greatly care about every single frame of each of our videos. You can expect remasters of older videos as well from time to time. On the other hand guys, we think that a lot can be learned from the story of Darth Sidious especially when it comes to real life and how manipulation works. We believe that order 66/ mark of the beast 666 is very close and the entire organized corona outbreak was all planned in order to use it as an excuse that we all need vaccines and chips. It's all up to you if you accept that, but we think that we should all think twice on how our evil world works and that no one on top is interested in the well being of any of us. God bless!

THANK YOU! I've always wanted to know what kind of lightsaber style / form the Sith used - could we get more on their combat forms? This was dope.
They're the same as the Jedi forms.
@@i-evi-l That's a bummer, and kind of lazy. How can Sith that channel rage, passion, fear, love, & hate, use the same forms as those that suppress and subvert those emotions? How would Soresu, a form based on calm and patience, be effectively used by a man/woman surging with emotion and passion? I can understand that Vaapad & Juyo were used by both, but what about Form 6, Niman? It was a "way to great skill without power or aggression", seemingly the antithesis of Sith doctrine. Curious
Wait but if Mace completely countered Sidious attacks, and could beat anyone else as well, wouldn’t that make him the best lightsaber duelist?
11:08 you forgot to mention he’s a master of the evil head turn too. 😂
I think that Luke in the EU at his peak was stronger than palpatine, but other than that, no one can compare to him (excluding the one’s, aboloth and other characters of that nature)
I know I’m late but that scene with Maul and Savage dueling against The Senate says it all. The man was literally playing with them
Yup. Great scene. Only Yoda brought out Palpatine's true fear.
@@i-evi-l And Sidious was not even at his peak
Why is it every sith or Jedi that’s reviewed is “the greatest duelist in history” 💀
As a duelist Sidious was below Yoda who disarmed him, Mace who arguably defeated him in their duel, and Vader, who after losing most of his connection to the force was forced to rely mostly on his skill with a lightsaber. As a force user no one comes close to him. Not even Yoda.
Short answer.
A bit weaker than Yoda
But probably a little stronger than Mace Windu
Seems right
Imo I’d think the exact opposite. But that’s just my opinion.
Clint Foreman Yes it’s a very debated topic
He was at the same level than Yoda in ROTS (was literally confirmed in the novel) but the difference is that Sidious kept growing his power even more and Yoda didn't. If in ROTS Sidious was at the same level as Yoda, he clearly became more powerful than him in a few years later
The true canon says that palpatine won against 4 jedi masters because it was easier to choreograph than a 1 vs 4 fight.
Thanks for being a normal person and not getting lost in the fantasy

Palpatine was not feigning weakness. George Lucas himself said that Mace Windu legitimately beat Palpatine in that duel only being saved by Anakin Skywalker. If not for Anakin, Palpatine would have died right there.
The head cannon is strong with this channel
Pretty sure "Force Rage" is just rage. No everything a Jedi, or Sith does must have the name "Force" in front of it.
No its the result of an emotional feedback loop. Being enraged is an emotional state, but when you get the Force involved, the Force can actually amplify your rage, blowing it out of proportion. Your potency in the Force can then be increased by harnessing that amplified rage as a "fuel source".

Darth Sidious is my favourite character. Also he used in my opinion commonly Juyo and Niman.
Darth Sidious: *The best duelist in all of the galaxy*.
Darth Sidious: *chooses to not ever use his lightsaber*.
What if obi wan left the jedi order after he fell in love with satine
His greatest gift was his speed. Very few force users could match it.

Most powerful Sith (Canon):
1. Darth Sidious (who is the emperor himself, survived death, and could create Force Storms)
2. Darth Vader (who is 80% as powerful as the most powerful Sith in history)
3. Darth Revan (embraced both the Light and Dark Sides of the Force, and found a path of his own)
4. Darth Plagueis the Wise (he could influence the midichlorians to create... life)
5. Darth Bane (founder of the Rule of Two philosophy, who even survived death itself)
6. Count Dooku/Darth Tyranus (the best lightsaber duelist in history, next to Sidious, of course)
7. Darth Malgus (used the Force Storm ability to great affects, led the Sacking of Coruscant)
8. Darth Malak (almost conquered the entire galaxy, but admitted that he was nothing before Revan)
9. Darth Maul (his power in the Force was stunted after his loss to Obi-Wan)
10. Darth Andeddu, the Immortal God-King of Prakith (discovered essence transfer)
11. Darth Desolous (killed 20,000 Jedi before being undone at Yaga Minor)
12. Darth Angral (led the Sith during the Great Galactic War)
13. Darth Tenebrous (whose foresight was limited due to maxi-chlorians)
14. Darth Tanis (had a brilliant tactical mind, but was not as powerful as others)

Sidious isn't really a top-tier duelist so much as he's just so adept and powerful with force augmentation that he doesn't need to be. Oh, don't get me wrong!
