So many youtube channels are pushing cricuts right now. They tell you that you too can make pretty labels if you can spend $200 to $400 on that machine.
THIS video is life-changing. I don't want all the fancy stuff. I just want simple labels like the ones in this video, and now I can make them myself without an expensive machine! THANK YOU!
That is exactly right! I love finding ways to craft more affordably. I do have a cricut and I love it for tshirts but everyday crafting it can get very expensive

I'm coming to this video a little late 😋, but thank you for showing what happens with an inkjet printer! A lot of instructions out there say to use ink so I'm glad I didn't waste my ink trying this!

Iambic amazed at how simple and how generous you are , you really are my favourite youtube crafter , my next project after this one will be the coloured glass / glue tip 🦋💋
Wow, thank you! Glad you are enjoying and what a beautiful compliment.
oh, I was mentioning this method when you asked on another video.Im binge watching your videos now I have a new laser printer. So probably watching out of order.
This technique works great!!
Homemade water slide neat .
Thanks for watching
How do you make one we’re the individual letters stand out instead of it looking likes in a box
Hi ... another great video! I love all of the projects you share with us. I would love to try this in the kitchen pantry and once you create the labels for your craft room are you also going to have them available in your etsy store ? Thanks . P.S. I see your subbies are growing and as they should be .... congrats.
Yep I will have craft room labels available also!!!! Thanks for following along❤️ Slowly building up quite a community
Thank you for this video!
Will this work for a plastic bag? Can I stick this on a ziploc bag for example?
Yes you can!
Greatt idea❤️ thankyou!
Does it only work if we print using laser jet printer?
Yes 😊
Can you put these labels on cup tumbler and then put apostle over top to seal the label thank bill
I’m not sure I’ve never tried that technique
very nice . can you tell us how hot the water should be
Just a dish of warm water you can comfortably put fingers in ❤️ thanks for watching
Will this work on plastic as well. I love this idea.
Yes it will
I really need your help. My problem is the labelling of basket hampers for soiled clothes that is visible for my kids and grandsons. I just want to use some corrugatted boxes which i have at the moment. Thank you.
This will work and just add some extra glue using mod podge or glue stick
Great idea! ❤️ would this work with deskjet printer ?
No it won’t sorry! ❤️
I very gently rub off the paper but some of the text print comes off too. I'm using a Laser Jet. Do you have to wait longer after printing before apply the tape and should I maybe soak longer? Thank you. Great video.
I have never had an issue when I’m using a laser printer and the ink coming off maybe it could be your type of tape you’re using
@@OurUpcycledLife Thankyou for replying, I worked it out, I was making the sticker too quickly after printing the graphic!
What if I have a image printed with a laser printer about 2mths ago would it work?
I have not let a image sit that long so I'm unsure but its worth a try! Thanks for watching Kara
oooh yay! I hope I win!!
Thanks for watching ❤️
PLANNING TO USE IT ON ACTIVITY BAGS FOR KIDS CHURCH
Great idea!
What do you recommend if it loses stickiness? If I create captions, will it adhere to pictures?
You can use some mod podge glue stick etc. if you have to glue it on
When I tried this idea most of the stickiness on the tape had disappeared & it wouldn't stick. 1. Do I need to use a high-end packing tape? 2. Maybe I need to let it dry longer? 3. I tried to stick it on a Rubbermaid Storage Tote. Would this be the problem? Any help you can give would be very much appreciated as I love this idea!
You might need to use a higher grade packing tape, or maybe you let it soak to long ? If Rubbermaid totes are the coloured ones they have a bit to texture to them and won’t stick as well. Glass works the best to adhere too ♥️ hope that helps
Hi can I draw with permanent marker if I don't have a printer ? Thanks
I am not sure if that will work I’ve never tried that thanks for watching
Instead of using printer ink, do you think using marker and paper would still work? I don’t have a printer and I really wanna make my own labels for art projects.
I have never done that but it would be worth a try thanks for watching sandra
You can also use permanent black marker and draw your own letters on white paper I did it and it works the same way if you don't own a printer.
Great tip! I will have to try it! Thanks for watching
Hello I had a question. Every-time I try this the tape becomes a bit cloudy and not very clear. Is there anything I can do to prevent this?
hi! just wanna ask, if this works on products logo?
Only if printed with laser jet printer!
will it work with a desk-jet printer?
Has to be a laser printer
Do it on a dime RUclips channel said when using inkjet take off paper while still in the water, and if a little of the ink came off, you can use a ball point sharper to trace any of the ink that may have came off
But trace it on the sticky side
So that when you place the label on whatever container you use it won’t come off… so I wouldn’t say it’s only a job for laser printer most people don’t have a laser printer..
I have never had any luck and it always completely rubs off with a ink jet unfortunately
Your fingers must be so tough with all the projects you do using them. I wondered if you can use a plastic scraper to save the fingers?
Thanks for watching! It is actually not to bad I rub alot of with the rag first and just finish with my fingers. It is easier to feel if you have rubbed everything off
Is it okay to use regular bond paper ma'am?
I am unsure what that product is thanks for watching
I tried but ink couldnt transfer properly to tape . Do we need some soecific tape . Printed from laserjet printer
It should work if using a laser printer won’t work with a ink jet
What kind of laser printer do you have?
This is what I have ♥️
Brother MFCL2750DW Wireless Monochrome Printer with Scanner, Copier & Fax, Black www.amazon.ca/dp/B0763X6TCW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_3F13KM81EW6M77DZQHRV
Can permanent marker be used to write instead of printing?
No it won’t work
I tried this and once i put them into the water the tape lifted away from the paper label. I used 3m tape
Has to be a laser printer
what font that you use??
I am not sure now 🥲 the sheets is available in my Etsy store etsy.me/3rm8ofs
What is the font you used?

A Cricut would make your life so much easier. Nice concept but too time consuming.
