And as others have said the Alchemy live version makes this seem like a quick audition. Enjoyed your reaction just love to see you experience this in it's full glory.
Yes, saw them live in 1985 in Houston, TC. Most AMAZING live concert I've EVER Experienced. They are just Extremely Talented. All of them.

You must watch the Alchemy Live version of this. It is one of the best live performances in rock history, hands down. Mark Knopfler is one of the best guitarists in the world and likely the best finger picker in the world. Brothers in Arms, Money For Nothing, and Walk of life, watch the music videos. Anything else, watch the Alchemy Live or Live Aid live performances.
The best part of the guitar solo is the ending and who ever put this together missed it off.. That's the part I was looking forward to..

Just discovered your channel. Nice reaction. I think you'll really love the performance Brothers In Arms - Live Dire Straits "On The Night" 1992. Every reactor I've seen said it had a huge impact on them. Need tissues. Mark Knopfler makes that Pensa Suhr guitar cry like no other. I saw them live 6 times. They just do it so much better live. Always look for the studio version of songs. This video's sound was dubbed over with the studio version but it was faded out too soon so you missed the guitar outtro.

Mike Knopfler es un extraordinario guitarrista, reconocido en todo el mundo. Efectivamente, toca sin púa y además es zurdo. El catálogo de sus canciones es bastante extenso!!
No estóy segura sí aquí la segunda guitarra es su hermano Dave; quien siempre ha estado acompañado toda su carrera, es el gran bajista John Illsley.
La banda tuvo varias formaciones y siempre fué muy buena.
Me da la impresión que, la mayoría de los jóvenes no la conocen mucho . Lástima, se han perdido de escuchar tan buena música 🎼
