I just love how Mark sang about the guitarist in the Band he was singing about, never made his guitar cry or sing and then once the lyrics were all sang he showed us how a guitarist should play the guitar..

I went to see Mark knopfler about 5 years ago at the o2 in London. He played money for nothing and brothers in arms. Great memories

Greetings from Canada. Welcome to the wonders of Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits. Did you notice that he finger- picks, meaning he does not use a plectrum? Any tune from Alchemy Tour is worth watching. But some other tours are great too... I recommend "Calling Elvis" from 'On the Night': you and sis will love it. Peace, love and bellbottoms.

Dire Straits playing Telegraph road from the same Alchemy live concert is brilliant too.
One of my all time favorite bands. This song came out when I was 9. It was love at first hear (on the radio). I got to see Mark play a solo show in indy about 20 years ago. It was magnificent. Please be sure to hear Romeo & Juliet, Telegraph Road, Private Investigations, Brothers at Arms, and Love Over Gold. Than all the rest!
