DPadGamer It's definitely possible, seeing how Helix was an experiment "gone wrong", so he could have come to life before they could finish all six arms. Maybe that was the intent for Hedlok, and he actually supposed to be an accessory for Helix.
The creature at 3:32 looks like a metroid that has been split almost completely in half. It has the three internal organs (just smooshed down due to the cleaved body) and the hooked mandibles. Not to mention if you put both halves back together, it is the right shape.
