If you name yourself Alex then Theo's sister is renamed to Madeline. It's actually stored in your save file, meaning you can change Theo's sister's name to whatever you like
Being trans myself, it was... quite obvious from the context that Madeline is trans. Which I really like! It's not obvious or made a big point in the story, it's just part of her, like with any other trans person. She's her own person, with her own traits, goals, and problems... being trans doesn't change any of that, and I really like how they showed it in this game!

The bird who appears in the audio easter egg in Farewell isn't The Bird, it's Archie the parrot, who is significant in the Celeste speedrunning community. A speedrunning technique is called the "Archie", named after him.
Kind of sad to see the rickroll become more known, it used to be something every modder got gotten by but never told anyone of it to keep the surprise.

I don't see others talking about it, but i just appreciate that you're openly against transphobia in the comments, with all the "game good, trans bad", and openly expressing your dislike of such comments. It might seem small to you or others, but it brings a sense of safety (i know it sounds weird) that my favorite youtubers won't be turning on me or the communities im a part of any day soon. Keep being amazing. <3
I feel that the whole "was madeline being trans meant to be hidden so it would be more relatable to cis people" thing is a bit ignorant. The story isn't about her being trans, it's about her struggles with depression and anxiety. Her personality trait isn't being trans, it doesn't need to be stated, any trans person doesn't HAVE to say that they're trans to every person they meet anyways. I love that Madeline is trans thought, it's a neat thing that im sure many of the people in the community appreciate.
I am very used to seeing the "jump around impatiently" animation from crying (for at least 30 seconds) after dying on 7C.

fun trivia: theo calls madeline "strawberry" at the end of chapter 9, but if madeline's name is already strawberry, there is no change to the nickname. this is notable because if you name yourself alex, theo's sister's name will be changed to maddy, so i was personally expecting this to be taken note of as well
Wow, the care the creators took in building this game is incredible. What a brilliant game!!
I'm surprised you didn't mention the Golden Moon Berry, since you mentioned Wow and and the Winged Golden. Basically, if you complete the ENTIRETY of chapter 9 while keeping your golden berry intact, you are transported to a sepia toned final challenge that you can't find anywhere else in the game. Its brutal, but it's one final triumph when you beat it.
Amazing. I thought i knew almost all the secrets in Celeste, but I had no idea about that crouch-dash room
