Yeah, in my first game i also loop forward and i need to re do all again. It hurts. A recomendation, simple cut all unneceseary moments and show only when the story progress and/or you find new dialogue. In that way you don't need to talk and made entertaining moments when nothing happens.

Thanks, while I do appreciate the advice, I feel like this would be applicable to literally any of my other LP's. It is true that I very sparsely cut any of my videos, the deliberate uncut nature of this LP is intentional as the a lot of the experience the game wants you to feel is about being stuck in a time loop, doing the same thing ad nauseum until you have no mental energy left to engage with the game like how Siffrin can't be bothered to legitimately engage with the world and people around him. I like to leave the artistic integrity of the games intact in my LP's when I play them, like in my OneShot LP for example, I learned OBS on the fly to show the meta fourth-wall breaking aspects of that game so the viewer's were not left out. If I cut out all the uninteresting parts of this LP, the series would only be half as long and the satisfaction of making any brief moment of progress would be very much dulled for the viewers.
On a separate note about cutting videos, not related to the game, I just don't like to do it. I have mentioned why in some of my really early videos but I suppose it has been a while since I reiterated for the more recent viewers. If I cut out sections of the videos I make and only leave in what I deem "entertaining," it would get me in the wrong mindset to actually enjoy making LP's. Instead of sitting back and playing a game to have fun, I would feel a lot of pressure to make the commentary entertaining to listen to so I have less video I need to cut out because it was "unengaging". If I got in that mindset, I would inevitably put on some kind of persona and I would probably go so far as to only play games I know so I can create outlines for topics within the video. I know I worry about being entertaining in a video with commentary, but that's only because it's awkward to sit in front of a hot mic with nothing new to say, which is why I typically end videos or recording sessions early when that happens, fully knowing that viewers can skip the boring parts of the video relatively easily if they so desire. I only really cut out technical issues I have in videos, instances where I accidentally expose too much personal information that I don't want on the internet, and anything that actively harms the video. (Like the one time I got a bit too... inebriated during the Outer Wilds LP.) While it may sound harsh to write this down, at the end of the day, this channel exists for me to enjoy making videos on it, not for the viewers to get the exact type of content they want out of me; That is the one thing I will never compromise on regarding the motivations behind this channel.
Please don't misinterpret my response, I'm not mad at you for suggesting cutting my videos, it's a legitimate suggestion to improve the pacing of my LP's for viewers, I just don't care about the algorithm whatsoever, if I wanted to game the algorithm, I would have surpassed triple digit subscribers long ago. It's not like I'm completely opposed to the idea of more short-form videos with more constant entertainment - after I finish my Outer Wilds LP I want to make a scare compilation of me getting way too terrified over basically nothing 90% of the time, but that's going to be a separate bonus video from the actual LP. I have also previously worked on making scripted videos (that I scrapped) but I have never finished them because it is really hard and time-consuming to make a script, read it well, and then finally edit it in a way I'm satisfied with. Some of the ideas I toyed with for scripted videos are "My Experience with Aphantasia" and "A Beginner's Guide to Playing Stepmania from an Intermediate Player". I also want to remake a video I made for a high school project, which is a video tutorial on "How to Play Tetris," but I have nothing to contribute there that everybody else hasn't already said. I actually wrote and completed the script for the first one and recorded the audio for all of it but I scrapped it because I had 45 minutes of audio recording and no interesting video footage to put in the video without the whole entire video feeling lazy despite the effort I put into it. (Due to my lack of editing skills outside simple cuts and text graphics.) I really want to make those videos but I haven't found the time and motivation to actually try to finish them in a way I'm satisfied with or develop them beyond the blueprint phase. While it is true I don't compromise my enjoyment to make the content my viewers want, I am motivated to make more videos and better videos if the viewers are interested in what I'm doing. Basically, I'm open to game suggestions and video ideas that viewers suggest but I am very particular about the formatting because the formatting directly determines how much fun I have recording, editing, and generally making a video.
I am so sorry for the long response! I hope I didn't scare you away, I just wanted to provide a legitimate answer with reasoning besides just saying "no". I've gotten a few comments from newer viewers asking why I don't cut my videos and you just gave me a really nice opportunity to provide an explanation. Anyway, I'm sorry for not wanting to cut the videos, I hope you can find enjoyment in them nonetheless. And thank you for leaving a comment and giving a suggestion, I do appreciate the advice even if I'm not inclined to take it all the time. And please, please don't ask how long it took me to fully formulate this comment and revise it to convey my point to a random stranger on the internet I don't know anything about besides they watched at least two videos of mine.
