- Our Age of Sigmar games will be part of our new "The Lost City" sandbox narrative campaign. This campaign will allow guests to come in and participate, even if they can't stay for more than one game. Every game will advance the emerging story that will build the lore for the area around the Lost City of Nulbaruk.
In this video, we show how we created a 600+ hex map for a Warhammer Age of Sigmar sandbox narrative campaign.

I realise this was a while ago but do you recall what glue you used instead of the gorilla gel (which would definitely be my goto)

Your paintjob looks so good! Smooth transitions and the colors are not too saturated, just right!
I have made a Hexton Map myself, filled the gaps, painted it, glued it on a mdf board and hung it on the wall. Very decorative!

Hexton Hills is the real deal. I was in the kickstarter and these guys have gone above and beyond to listen to feedback and make their supporters happy. I fully endorse giving them money, there are so many awesome tiles.
I visited the Bunker a couple of days ago. The map looks amazing, I cant wait for this to get started and for the 40k version.
Absolutely amazing, the sweeping shots of the board were straight out of a Game of Thrones intro, can't wait to see the campaign!

Unbelievably EPIC!!!!!! Great idea Mat and Adam YOU DA MAN!!!!!!!! Love how you go over the ups and downs of building terrain. I can tell you this happens ALL THE TIME!!!!! People who are serious terrain builders always find a way to land on their feet so GREAT JOB ALL OF YOU!!!!!

@MWG Studios Do you recommend printing them all in FDM or do you recommend Resin? I use my prusa for 99% of my printing, but do have a Elegoo Saturn that rarely gets used. Also, any chance Graven Guild will be releasing those custom tiles that you had made for your campaign? Lastly, I sent a message to customer support - it looks like the Coastal Settlement 01 was left off the download list.
This is absolutely incredible. Wish I lived closer so I could drive up and play some AoS with this system again, and again, and again.

Gorilla Glue Gel works amazingly for magnets. I glue a super thin 0.5mm piece of cork to my bases first, though. The bond between them all is insanely strong.
It’s more the bond from the glue to the PLA plastic that the 3D printers use. That’s where it gets wonky.
Really hope to see one of these for 40k. I’m currently running a hex based campaign for a killteam group, and something like this would be an awesome way to bring the map to life.
Adam is a hero. That is a lot of work.

Age of Sigmar is such an amazing canvas for fantasy story telling. The breath of the setting is unbelievable. And this board will do it some Justice
started a narrative campaign for 9th edition 40k a few months ago that uses a hex tile system, where we're fighting over a imperial hive world to close out 9th, and that's been a lot of fun! Map looks great and I hope the campaign is a smash hit!

So many fond memories of Mighty Empires... Seeing this makes me cry with nostalgia. This map is beyond awesome. Too bad i'm in the EU would join in a heartbeat. Have fun guys
This is amazing guys. I absolutely LOVE the narrative campaigns that you guys do and shows the dedication you have to the hobby.
Just a little idea/nudge/hope - any chance of doing this for a DnD campaign anytime soon??? Please? Pretty please?! The Heroes of Herenburg are needed again. There's been rumours of a dark shadow being cast across the lands of the north and rumours of monsters long thought banished to the 9 hells have been getting more and more popular in recent times... such that they can no longer be ignored. :)

That map looks amazing, with details, layout, and of course the paint! Thanksnforbthe info, as i was looking into using tiles for an old school border prince campaign for 6th, but blood in the bad lands was giving me inspiration. These will fill that out so nicely!

this is legit one of my all time dreams regarding the hobby. A massive map that will be used for a map, with territory being gained and each tile providing certain presets regarding terrain and special rules. Thank you guys for fulfilling a dream of mine, it will be a massive help when I get to it one day! Hopefully xD

Hex tile maps are always cool. I just don't have the need to go as big as i really want to. Maybe after 10th edition drops more of my friends will play and I can do something with them.

I got in on the hexton tiles in their kickstarter and wanted to do the same thing .....never got round to it but thanks Matt for kicking the idea back into life ..... I have one of those revolving wipe boards as well so ....chefs kiss perfect .... Yes I AM STEALING THIS !!

I would love to see a campaign like this but 40k where fleets when meeting over a planet can perform a planetary assault (typical 40k narrative game) or space battles with Battlefleet Gothic to serve as the space games. I think it would be a massive challenge but would be fun to see.

nice, I really love such campaign maps. I'm actually planning to print tiles for necromunda (non ash whastes, different vendor). So more like tiles within a city, like a scrap yard and a market. Rather than a larger landscape where one tile is a river, one is a village and so on. I just have no one to play necromunda with :D
I've been trying to push my friend into printing tiles for me. Now I have ammunition in the form of this video! Ahahahahaha!

Maybe you could add a system where viewers can vote on events that could effect the campaign.
Just a way for viewers to participate even if they can't play.
I’m trying figure out ways for that to work. The difficulty comes in lead time between filming and posting. When we film, there are games that aren’t posted yet, so viewers aren’t up to date.
