Best boat review of the Princess Y80 I've seen: The camera work made the wood details and design the star of the show. Impressive yacht and amazing kitchen! Great review!
Princess, like Lurssen never fail for the price point. If I were to compare the style of the Phoenix to this Y80, I would say that the Y80 is more my color schematics. I prefer the light colors to the dark. But that is just me. Thank you so much for the tour.
Lovely design. Everything looks crafted and perfectly sized and shaped, no ugly corners or slabs of GRP in sight anywhere. Have to say it looks a cut above Fairline and Sunseeker in the way that the design of all features is very consistent and delicately shaped and sized. Understated class. I'm sure once the novelty has worn off the ambience is better than an ultra blingy boat which has some cheaper areas.
Best tour this size of boat I’ve seen. These reviews tend to get a little bit boring after a while but this one were interesting all the way. And……Fantastic yacht, of course.
Beautiful! I've always loved Princess!! The layout of this particular iteration 'feels' like an owner-operated boat rather than a crewed boat due lack of any demarcation options 'ticked'... but on the other hand it must be right on the limit. Can you shed any light on that?
I would say most of the customers of an 80ft boat handle it themselves. However when you’re out cruising you for sure have a couple of friends with you and that’s a good crew enough to help with lines etc when docking.
@@Thjonsson1 in reality I rarely see 60 feet plus without crew. Unless they have kids, in the teens. 70 feet plus it is always two crew minimum. Do you know the work needed to clean a 60 footer after a cruise, let alone an 80.... This boat without a crew is madness. Crew less is up to 60 feet (and 60 is really stretching it), and to do that you have to be young athletic and really good at it, and have friends or family who do not just come for the Gin and the steak.
@@PowerYachtWell i can only talk from my experience, I live in Sweden and we have quite large amount of these type of boats here if you look at how small country we are. And I rarely see boats under 70 ft having a crew. They’re all owners operated.
Great stuff. Although what about a review of a classic quality motor boat e.g 20 years old? I know it doesn’t get the volume of clicks but the quality of clicks is always forgotten. Just feel most of us who are still going well life are no where near stuff like this yet the occasional used classic is tangible. Might be wrong but again thanks for sharing your content anyway 😊
Saw the x80 by myself. Great yacht. Quality feeling very good. But I am not a Fan of the pale colors and inbuild furnitures. They look cheap and not that cosy as the new Designs of the Italien Brands.

Thanks very much, we appreciate that 🙏
Princess never disappoints! My favorite boats since I was 4! They’re just perfect in styling and detailing and drivers position.
Great review and walkthrough Jack
Cheers Steve! - J
Great Tour as always
Thanks 🙏

This one is run by crew, I believe - J

well presented.
Thanks Jack! Generous crew quarters for an 80 footer! 😮
Indeed!

Nice review, very nice boat. Is that a Finnish flag I see…?
It sure is… 🇫🇮
Excellent tour, but not excited about the boat. So looking forward to the Marex 400 tour...
It’s coming 😃
@@Yachtbuyer and a sea trial????
We hope so!
Could you not get a more economic cruising speed at say 10-12 knots resulting in longer range?
Absolutely, probably close to 1,000nm at 8 knots - Jack
8 hours too late and 13 mins too short! You guys and Nick really should coordinate a bit better!......cracking boat though 😍😍
You forgot the engine room ??

A Finnish owner maybe? Lumi means snow in finnish
Sanna Marin(e) maybe???? 🤪
Honestly, it seems overpriced for what's on offer!
🥲 SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL W😲W
