God Bless America 🇺🇸 and all that served and died for my freedoms Nothing but love for our men and women 🙏🏻
AMEN🙏
Amen
Brantley had a friend who came back in a box therefore the first verse but the second verse is about Brantley's cousin Cory he got cancer and before he died he fought the good fight by proclaiming being unafraid to die due to his faith a real man right there it is not just about soldiers it is about facing that ultimate reward. One hell of an Amen!
I love Brantley Gilbert! I think he writes beautiful songs that people can relate to. This song is definitely a tearjerker!
Five Finger Death Punch Wrong Side of Heaven well move your spirit
I didn’t know that thank you for the info. , even though it made me sad. 🙂
Unfortunately there are kids these days who dont have a clue about the military or anything about our freedom they just figure it is like that because they were never taught ! So scarey for the future of our young people in the future who have no clue ! Keep up the great job !😍😍
“The ones who didn’t make it back home” by Justin Moore is another great military song... literally cried in my car listening to it.
Amen
I am a 100% US Army Infantry Disabled Veteran, This Song Is Ultimate!!! God Bless You 2 And Your Family!!! 3rd Brigade Combat Team, Fort Bragg NC!!!! Always Remember>> Your Freedom Isn't Free!!!!! Airborne Baby!!!!
Thank you sir!

@@mickeydooley2230 Thank You For Your Service! I Would Also Gear Up Again To Protect Our Great County!! Take Care My Brother!! 🇺🇲👍🇺🇸
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE SIR!!
I’m a Canadian military brat. My dad served for 20years and did a tour in Bosnia in ‘93 and this brought me to tears because as much as I was lucky my dad came home he wasn’t the same and I was young enough that I don’t remember how he was before he went. Love you guys. Thank you to all the other service members out there for everything and wish you great things and that your pain will be respected because you deserve all you could want and you deserve peace if dealing with PTSD.
Bless you for doing this one.... Brantley is one of our Country "Rockers" but his music is all heart and soul!! Gonna watch now... :)
You should check out FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH the song is WRONG SIDE OF HEAVEN or GONE AWAY, for all the Vets out there. My service lasted 8 years but I think for my wife and young son it was like 15 years.
Absolutely and No One Gets Left Behind
Excellent choice of songs very emotional .
100% agree. I beg you guys to react to The wrong side of heaven.
Thankful for everyone that has served and the one who are still . You all are my heroes ❤and thank you.
Check out Kenny Cheney “There goes my life”, Brooks and Dunn “Believe”, Brad Paisley and Allison Krause “Whiskey Lullaby. You can’t go wrong! Love you guys
So many goods songs by Brantley Gilbert!!
This is a fact!
SOOOOO MANY!!! I don't even know where to start with song suggestions for him! LOL!!!!
Brantley Gilbert is from my home state of Georgia and Brantley Gilbert is a huge supporter of our Military and he is a amazing singer songwriter...he has a song out called Lost Souls Prayer as he battles a addiction and every time I hear this song I think of my father who had the same addiction so I would love for you to react to Lost Souls Prayer and Brantley has a huge catalog that I think you both will enjoy...Please and Thank You P.S. Brantley had a veteran give him his purple 💜 and he keeps with him at all times so if the guys ever wants it back he has it with him Brantley is just a hell of good guy and patriot
As a veteran, that was tough reading his story. I remember deploying to the middle East and finding out a week later that my wife was pregnant. A hard deployment suddenly got harder. All I could think about was whether I would ever get to see my new baby. Obviously, I made it home, and I was there when my son was born on the 4th of July.
Thank you for your service.
Death is not the only way you lose family or loved ones in war. Sometimes they come home .. "less than well"
Yes😢
Both my kids know him personally and have been around him from the beginning of his career, good ole Georgia boy, Go Dawgs sic um
Don’t Forget to say Thank you for your Service whenever you see someone in uniform. I’ve been trying to often since 2006
A true tear jerker for y’all, “you should be here” by cole swindell
Love this song and video. Definite tear jerker for sure
I think of my Dad every time I hear this. He would have had so much fun with his great grandkids!!
He's from Jefferson Ga, about 30min north from me. Saving Amy, Bad Boys, Hell on an angel, my kind of crazy.. he's got some great songs. Pretty much every song on his first couple albums are 🔥
Saving Amy is one of my favorites right along with Halfway to Heaven!
I had many family in the military & my dad wasn't but he got cancer & died at 50. He never showed fear but I know he was scared. I was 26 & it hurt bad but I love him and respect anyone fighting anything tough
Yes they do give up a lot!! Y'all stay safe!
David Ball - Riding with Private Malone
Brad Paisley - He did not have to be
Conway Twitty ,- That's my job
Brooks & Dunn- I believe
My grandfather just padt thanksgiving 24, he was WW2 vet. We are military family both sides! My father died of Cancer 2 thanksgivings ago. So this song hits hard for me!
Thank you for playing this. My daughter was a huge Brantley Gilbert fan… we played this at her funeral😪
A perfect love song from brantley gilbert "you don't know her like I do" goes for anyone and everyone that means so much to you
Country music has alot of military related songs Toby Keith "American soldier " trace Adkins "Arlington " just to name a few.
BG is a great writer, performer, singer, One of the best.
A great tribute to any service member, living or dead! They are all heroes in my book! Thank you for your true, heartfelt reactions.
I love this song but it always get me, as it reminds me of my best friend Forest, who died of cancer at 32. RIP Forest, I miss you mate!
Brantley Gilbert has written hit song's for several country artist and has had great success as a country artist himself another great reaction
Such a beautiful dedication. Having been a proud member of the US Navy and now a proud veteran, this song brought a tear as I listened to the words and remembered so many if my shipmates who are no longer with us. But those memories also brought a smile as I thought of those I served with so long ago. Thank you for sharing this video and the dedication. A big heartfelt thanks to my fellow veterans from years past and current. May peace be with you all.
Thank you for your service.
Saw him live in Chicago a few years back. If you like this you'll love "You don't know her like I do" by Brantley Gilbert
God Bless the Men and Women who fought for our freedom. I salute you. You both are so amazing, beautiful, and caring. Thank you so much for your awesome reactions!
I love Brantley Gilbert. I have a headstone and American flag reserved for me. This song brings tears to my eyes every time.
If you're gonna get into country you should do some Toby Keith since you live in his hometown
When I hear people say they don't like country music, I want them to listen to this song and still say the same thing
EXACTLY!! Or even "Don't Blink" by Kenny Chesney (that's just the first one to pop in my head! lol!)... and SOOOOO MANY other Country songs!!
Listen to this song every day. I make myself feel the loss. So I can be reminded what matters in life. Tears. If respect.
Ty Brantley u did so much for my PTSD. More than any group therapy
Being the mother of a combat Marine Vet, this hit home really hard. Rest easy Sgt. Sullivan and thank you for your service and ultimate sacrifice💔💔💔🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Love Brantley Gilbert and this song❤
Also, the guy fighting cancer was a guy that either Brantley or his older brother went to high school with.
Thank you ! God Bless America and all who fight for FREEDOM ! Amen !
thank you all to those who serve and have served!! your service is greatly appreciated!!
Brantley wrote Dirt Road Anthem and My Kinda Party recorded by Jason Aldean.
Love this song! I read that this song was for a soldier who was a brother to one of his best friends.
What a heart of gold to do that for your friend and tell the story of that soldier.
Grew up on military bases all around. My dad retired a major in the air force. Much love for all military families....its was a good life.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Let it be so.
X's and O's to y'all too...
God Bless and SEMPER FI
Oorah! And thank you.
When I die, I hope I can do it defending someone in need of defense, plenty of need for that here as well. MUCH APPRECIATION for those who serve and defend us, even if you disagree with our beliefs, you defend us.
God bless to all our service men and woman
Both the military and cancer sides of this song are near and dear to my heart. My biological father died in Vietnam and almost every male in my family has served. The other side is both my sister and I are battling cancer. I just started treatment, but my sister has been fighting hard for 2 years but has decided she has had enough. I am so proud she is choosing to live life on her terms!!
This song here has a very powerful meaning 😢😢 SHOUT OUT TO ALL OUR MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN ✌️❤️💯
This song hits me hard, I lost 3 real close friends while I was in Desert Storm and lost a really good friend to cancer
Great song! I always loved his voice. God Bless America 🇺🇸
My wife and I were best friends since teen years. We went into the Marines together and were deployed together to Afghanistan. She fought cancer for 14 years on and off. We were given the news she had a few months left early last year. We got married and she past on 10/13/2020. She left behind 2 amazing teen girls from her husband who had previously passed. Those girls have become my daughters and the blessing that has saved me everyday. Raising them as my own is a true joy. But she was not afraid even once. Her fight song was Fear by Blue October. When you have a chance would you please react to it. Love you guys. Lots of love from TN
some other good brantley gilbert is kick it in the sticks
You're so right! I want to thank everyone for fighting for us! I was so touched, I cried! I love BG and have never heard this! To the one who emailed, God bless your soul and your family, it was beautiful! Much ♡♡♡♡♡
Brantley is an amazing song writer. He’s written songs that are straight kick ass but then he writes some like Just As I Am about redemption, then Three Feet of Water about salvation. With baby Luca coming you should review The Man That Hung the Moon, it is BEAUTIFUL and Brantley wrote it to his new baby boy. It speaks to what being a Dad is all about. Also Hard Days and The Ones That Like Me are great. Brantley also wrote Dirt Road Anthem that Jason Aldean took to #1. Anthem is one that you would really like J. And I suggested Small Town Throwdown , sooo fun, with Thomas Rhett and JUSTIN MOORE when y’all reviewed If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away? Keep up the
good work!! ♥️♥️
And God bless our men and women in uniform and the sacrifices that make to keep us safe and free!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
God bless you, Sgt. Sullivan. And God bless and thank you to all of our military heroes past, present and no longer with us. I come from a military family and I have a profound respect for the sacrifices you made. I🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
LOVE LOVE LOVE BRANTLEY!!!
Gotta do kicking it in the sticks, by Brantley
You guys have to listen to Brantley Gilbert's two other great songs... the weekend and bottoms up.
Brantley's second single from 2011, which reached #1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs and #50 on Billboard's Hot 100 (all genre chart) is..... "COUNTRY MUST BE COUNTRY WIDE" . I'd suggest his first big hit "Kick It In The Sticks" but I think maybe you should hear a little more of his "softer" side first! lol!!
My father was in the Korean war, I was Vietnam era and my son went to Iraq twice and Afghanistan once, luckily we all came out ok! GOD BLESS THE USA! ROCK ON!! Jeff
I have two in my family out of the Vietnam war. THANK YOU for you and yours for the service. All wars are tough but the criticism for our troops out of the Vietnam era was harsh. Again, thank you my friend !
@@giarogers Thank you for your kind words! It was not an east time, but I would do it again!
I love this song coming from a fan of rock and a more hardcore music genre I love country and that’s what I fall asleep listening to most nights. I think that listening to two different types of music can be good for you and it and some change and wild factor to the day. 🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸
When he came and performed at a small concert in my hometown, he brought all the mothers and spouses of active service members in the crowd on stage with him for this song. I've always been a fan, but that was something else
Much Love and eternal respect for those that served for our freedom and way of life!
Respect and much love to all who are serving or who have served and their families. ❤️🇺🇸😎🤟🏼
Thank you so much for your respect. My youngest son is a Marine and about to go for his 2nd deployment. My heart is in turmoil for what condition the world is in and my baby going out there. He is a Corporal and I miss him so much!!!!
In many ways, this song is the story of my family. We lost my dad in 2004 in service to this country. 6 months later, we lost my mom to cancer. I can’t hear this song without being absolutely broken.
Wow!!!!! What a beautiful tribute 💕❣️❣️🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸...... And thank you guys for playing that. God bless our amazing military!! This is a family long and deep with people serving ❣️🇺🇸
This is a beautiful song I have had several family members serve in the military and I had a friend that lost his son in battle he was saving several of his fellow soldiers.
Tell your family and friends. Thank you for their service.
There is NOT enough thanks, not enough gratitude . lets not forget out 13 service members!🇺🇸💔✝️🙏 . my brother is a Sargent, my grand fathers were in WW2 and Korea. God Bless you all AMD America🇺🇸❤️🙏✝️
This is an amazing song!
Another good country song is "Forever Country", sung by 30 different artists under the name Artists of Then, Now, & Forever. It was made to commemorate 50 years of the CMA awards back in 2016
This song brings me to tears. One son of mine a Marine passed away and another son passed away young with a rare disease. So yeah. ❤️ # Marine/ Navymomma. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Other bangers by Brantley: Kick It in the Sticks, Country Must Be Country Wide, Small Town Throwdown, More Middle Fingers (feat. Justin Moore), and Read Me My Rights. Brantley is known for his patriotism and support of the military. Also, note the badass brass knuckles on the mic. On a recorded live cover of Hank Williams, Jr.'s song Outlaw Women (which is another one you should react to) a vet gives BG his purple heart to recognize his patriotism.
Love Mr. Brantley. ❤
Thank all of you who fought and those who paid the hard price. So much respect and appreciation
Hey J and Amber, Looking amazing...Oh, here comes the emotions...Blessings of Peace to those who have lost so much, Honor and Respect...Peace
I don't make a lot of comments but this is a beautiful song. As a vet who served 20 years this brought on tears, thank you!
Also this was already brought up 5 finger death punch, "wrong side of heaven" is an absolute must. Be warned have the tissues at hand.
I just love y’all. Best reactors of great music. Peace, Love America. Amen!
Thank y’all for your support. For the military. My son. Is marine Corp right now
Definition of Amen: so be it... usually used at the end of a prayer of a hymn.
Very fitting!
You should check out Garth Brooks. Definitely a “two side” artist with some slow songs and others that you can’t help but dance or sing along to.
The only problem with reacting to Garth is that (if you're using RUclips), 90% of the Garth you see is not actually him, it's covers, so reactors have to either go into it knowing they're listening to covers, or make the effort to find either one of the few music videos on YT or a live version.
A MUST HEAR SONG & POWERFUL MESSAGE,, EVERLAST "WHAT IT'S LIKE"
I love you guys. You are both wonderful people God Bless you both
You say thank you is not enough...?
When I'm told "thank you for your service", I tell them, it was my Honor to Serve them, and every American, I say this for my Brothers who didn't come home, because they are the one's I believe I can speak for.
I take every tribute for them.
Thank you guys for the appreciation. As a combat veteran it means more than u know. God bless America 🇺🇲
Ahhh you guys gonna get me crying!
God Bless all the soldiers and their families
He had some more banger songs check out bottoms up, small town throw down and kickin if the sticks .
RIP young man... And I'm with you, Go Dawgs 🖤❤️
'For all those who have fought the good fight, you have no idea how thankful we are every single day', yes! loved how respectful your reaction was!
Would love to see you check out the song Saturday by twenty one pilots
My Dad served 23 years in the Navy, but several Factors took him, from us, he was 65
I love the way y'all feel the music. Good music will always make you feel something. Country isn't my favorite genre but I always like the ones that honor our military. My family has a long history of service & 2 of my sons & their wives are serving now so I always get teary-eyed when I hear any song about the military. God bless y'all for doing this dedication for Sgt Sullivan.
For anyone out there reading this who's in the military or has someone they love in the military I hope you know that we are grateful for the sacrifices you all make for us & we love each & every one of you. ❤ 🇺🇸
Another one you might like would be "you don't know like I do". I have to say it's probably my favorite song of his.
I have been suggesting Brantley Gilbert to y'all for over a year.
He is the person who wrote Dirt Road Anthem that you loved.
He has so many wonderful songs.
This is one of my ringtones.
He wrote that with Colt Ford. He also wrote my kind of party and one other one that I can't think of.
@@marymimi9365
Actually he wrote it before he met Colt Ford.
You can find a video of Brantley in his garage when he was between 17 & 19.
I have been a RUclips junkie since it first started.
Look for Brantley Gilbert garage/home.
No, it isn't the whole song, but it is there.
I am a music freak. I listen to almost everything.
So I find odd things by putting in different ways of spelling or changing a word.
@@that1mamalady When and where did you write the song?
FORD: We wrote the song at Brantley’s house in Athens, Georgia. I was going to pick him up to go write with our friend, Mike Dekle, a veteran songwriter. Brantley just said, “I got an idea for you,” and he had the melody and most of the chorus. There is something about that melody, and I think Brantley is great with that.
It's from the "americansongwriter.com" website and it is called "the story behind the song: Jason Aldean, "Dirt Road Anthem""
Colt Ford wasn't in the video.
So say what you want. I saw Brantley sing it alone
More Brantley Gilbert. Country must be country wide. Is a fun song. Very upbeat
Brantley Gilbert has another good song, "You Don't Know Her Like I Do". It's really good. He wrote part of this about his cousin Cory who died of cancer.
Nothing does stories like country. Respect.
Thanks for this, it’s a beautiful song. You folks rock!
First time i heard him do this live on the floor at hienz field in Pittsburgh. To heat everone sing it back is amazing
I thank all of the men and women who go and fight for our freedom. But I especially wanted the thank their family because they give up so much for us to and they don't get the thanks they deserve.
Part of this video, with the old church and the cemetery Brantley is standing in was filmed about a half mile down the road from where I live, here in Southern Middle Tennessee. Alan Jackson did a video at the same church before Brantley called "Sissy's Song."
Until the last shots fired and Arlington by trace Adkins are spectacular
So good to hear you guy's appreciate their service.
