Was this your first foray into country music? Man, this is a beautiful first step…. Chris Stapleton is amazing… I just watched him brought up in one of your unboxing videos (probably from around August 2022), and had to come searching for it… love the unmistakable realization on your face the SECOND that you fell in love with it. So glad that you’ve not only continued to explore the genre, but you are now bona fide FANS. Love you guys!
Great reaction. Pink Floyd next please!!! I’d recommend Time (with lyrics) to start as it’s one of the best songs of all time. Or Comfortably Numb, Shine on you Crazy Diamond, Great Gig in the Sky. That band will really change your perspective.
He's in a genre of his own! Try "Sometimes i Cry" LIVE at the Bing Lounge. (yes, his voice is just as perfect live). There's also a great version of TN Whiskey where he sings with Justin Timberlake Live at the CMA Awards 2015. Spectacular. They do two songs in a row.. second one is Justin's song "Drink You Away". React to both!
I love how you broke it down and gave credence to how Chris Stapleton can transcend genres. He absolutely made me love his voice from this song. I went on to be impressed by Death row, and many other songs of his.
glad you enjoyed it. Chris Stapleton is just one of so many many incredible artists in country over the years. if you think its sad then you didn't listen to the lyrics. I grew up on country and many others. but country was a huge one. its crazy to me the amount of individuals that say I dont do country because its just all sad music. And yet dont even actually dive into all the incredible artists.. legends even, and actually listen to more than just a couple songs. yeah.. there are songs (incredible songs i might add) that are sad, are about heartbreak or loss, and such things. sure some stupid songs too. just like every other genre. country is some of the best love songs, its heartache and pain, its motivational, its a party, its really good story telling, its even patriotic. its so incredibly relatable to the real life situations that we all face all the time. the talent of its artists and writers to be able to put what we're feeling, what we're going through into words.. and no I'm not saying that other genres don't do this as well. I love almost all genres. I'm just saying I'm so glad that I was raised on country music and its a shame that people miss out on so many talented artists and songs that will truly move you, because they have a preconceived idea about it without ever actually listening
Country music is all about real life. That is why so many people of various backgrounds can relate. So enjoy your usual tunes a while then take a break with country's slower, smoother sound. I expect you to find many that talk to you as well as plenty that do not.
I have plenty of friends who hate country but even they love chris stapleton. He can just pull your entire soul into a song and there's nothing you can do to stop it. No matter what genre you listen to. He's a true musical treasure.

Hear me out, I'm a teen from SEA, never cared bout country music, a RUclips recommendation opened me up, now I'm hardcore country, the only one who listens to this genre among my friends, my opinion, no Other music genre tells à story or mood better than country
Chris's voice is awesome, add his wife's voice to it and its pure music magic. Heavenly!!!
OUR HERO'S NEED TO STEP UP AND SAVE OUR NATION !!!!
Great reaction. Pink Floyd next please!!! I’d recommend Time (with lyrics) to start as it’s one of the best songs of all time. Or Comfortably Numb, Shine on you Crazy Diamond, Great Gig in the Sky. That band will really change your perspective.
Thank you so much for the suggestions I really appreciate it I will make sure I get to them
i'm a real believer in music makes u go on a journey of emotions and this song is just that when i heard this tune 1st time n now i got all his tunes
I’ll for sure add them to the binder anything Chris Stapleton I have to check out now
Love anything Chris Stapleton does ❤
I love how you broke it down and gave credence to how Chris Stapleton can transcend genres.
I agree wholeheartedly....my cuz can SANG!
Never been much of a country fan but that voice...damn that was a great song!
Johnny Cash - “A Boy Named Sue”
Also, check out Chris Stapleton’s new song “Cold”, it’s more soul than country IMO
Chris Stapleton is unbelievably talented! Don’t judge a book by its cover. One of my favorite song, love it!❤️💕
You want a surprise, do his song Death Row, you won't be disappointed.
Come on down the rabbit hole. That where we are.😉😉😉
He also sings Its a man's world. .its awesome!!!
Watch Tennessee Whiskey/Drink you Away, Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton, LIVE CMA Awards, Fantastic performance. The woman singing with them is Chris's wife. She's the one that pushed him in the spotlight. Listen to Cry, and Its a Man's World by Chris.
He’s what country music NEEDED🖤
You should check out Chris Stapleton “I was wrong” live at Austin City Limits. You won’t be let down.
Please!! I'm so surprised more people haven't suggested this song
Music is the key to the soul. It can bring you up if your down, it can seduce even the hardest heart. That's a great song!
This is a very old song that has been covered by SO many people. This is a very good version. I'd also recommend youtuber Teddy Swims version. Excellent stuff.
I’m from Nashville....and a lot of country music artist lived in my neighborhood.....I am not a fan of country music.....but i grew up with Jack Daniels all my life!! The song is pretty awesome! First time i heard it!! I will have to say that country music artists are pretty awesome.....people don’t know that Nashville is really a pretty liberal city. They don’t really see color.....but they see talent! I LOVE Nashville....its a great city....& found so may great people! Thnx for introducing this to me!! & I’m glad you are open to enjoy! I don’t live there any more.....but i go back often...still have family!! I’m born in the same county & date as Justin Timberlake!....(just so many years apart!). Tennessee has a lot of great spots.....but the whiskey is fine!
I don't know if James has explained Blue Eyed Soul to you but, Chris Stapleton is a tiny taste of a decades-long history!
This is a lot of fun! Thanks for making my day, you and James!
If that’s just a taste of it I’m in for a long ride because that was mesmerizing
@@RobSquadReactions Country always tells a story.
That being said, never put yourself inside a box.
You'll never know what you like until you've given it a chance!
I'll listen to ANY music if it moves me!
Genre means nothing to me...music moves my soul!]
