One of the great things about growing up in the 60's (before FM radio) they played just about everything from rock - country - R&B - Gospel - blues --- throw in a little big band / dance band all on the same station ... even the same DJ.
We were exposed to all of it --- every day ... many from that era have very eclectic musical tastes

@@RobSquadReactions Pick anything Live. When Chris sings live he has this tiny little scratch in his voice that the studio recordings kind of smooth out. I miss the grit from his live performances. If you want to hear him show off (cause he can) try "Sometimes I Cry" Live at the Bing Lounge or "I Was Wrong" Live from Austin City Limits. Or for something fun and different try the duet of Tennessee Whiskey/Drink You Away he and Justin Timberlake did for the 2015 CMA Awards show. It's FIRE.
He's often joined onstage by his wife Morgane. Chris has some crazy stage fright and she keeps him sane up there. They are both song writers that have been in the biz for many many years and with many #1 hits by other artists, but Chris has pretty recently started performing and sharing his amazing voice with the rest of us.

Hi , I came over from Rome’s channel and suggestion. I loved your reaction to AC/DC Thunderstruck ! I just subscribed to your channel and look forward to many more of your reactions 😊. I love Chris Stapleton, and saw him in concert in 2019. He sounds just as good live on stage. His wife sings with him, that is her your heat in this song. He is extremely talented, that’s him on the guitar also.

glad you enjoyed it. Chris Stapleton is just one of so many many incredible artists in country over the years.
if you think its sad then you didn't listen to the lyrics. I grew up on country and many others. but country was a huge one. its crazy to me the amount of individuals that say I dont do country because its just all sad music. And yet dont even actually dive into all the incredible artists.. legends even, and actually listen to more than just a couple songs. yeah.. there are songs (incredible songs i might add) that are sad, are about heartbreak or loss, and such things. sure some stupid songs too. just like every other genre. country is some of the best love songs, its heartache and pain, its motivational, its a party, its really good story telling, its even patriotic. its so incredibly relatable to the real life situations that we all face all the time. the talent of its artists and writers to be able to put what we're feeling, what we're going through into words..
and no I'm not saying that other genres don't do this as well. I love almost all genres. I'm just saying I'm so glad that I was raised on country music and its a shame that people miss out on so many talented artists and songs that will truly move you, because they have a preconceived idea about it without ever actually listening
