When my daughter was in high school, this song came out. We pumped this song when I would drive her to school events. She has blonde hair and blue eyes so when I hear this song now, it's her I think of. She's almost 50 years old. It's still her song. Loved your reaction, guys. Thanks for the journey back in time. I'm disabled and can only stand for a very short time but at my eldest son's wedding he had this played and came to the edge of the floor, where I had been sitting watching everyone dance to great rock tracks all night. He came to me and took my hand and held them as we danced to this. I only made through half of the song but it's a memory I will hold in my heart forever.❤🤘💋

They were late because they had to finish a golf game back at their hotel as they said so people were pretty angry. I missed Brian May and his band that opened the concert but although people were angry at first and Axl had a bad temper about some people taking photos (he had the security guys to "take care" of them), It was something else!!! We had to walk back home after the concert since the subway was closed because....they were late and as you said they had a 3 hours playlist. That was a 7 hours walk from one side of Athens to the other and then we had to endure the panishment from our parents but worthed it!!!... His name is Axl Rose, which is what he changed it to, after changing his name, "William", to "W." (because it's the name of his father that be never knew), and being in a band called "Axl" that he was really into. I just read up on it; his friend convinced him that he should use the name for himself.

Played a big outdoor concert in Melbourne (Australia) in the early 90s. It was an unholy event :) I was an attending volunteer firstaider. Treated people for heat exhaustion at 8.00 in the morning. Was pulling out people with hypothermia at 3 the next morning. It was insane. ..... I think Slash had a relationship with his guitar. :) Try Welcome to the Jungle

founded another group, Velvet Revolver with Duff McKagan, etc. Lead singer was Scott Weiland, now deceased. They had a great song, "Fall To Pieces"! Give it a listen!

The best thing about Slash is that he let Conan O'Brien use his face in place of the "slash" key when showing web addresses on-screen. Well, that and his amazing guitar playing. Comparing him to Stevie Ray Vaughn is like comparing Luciano Pavarotti with Johnny Cash - the music they make is so different that they can't be properly compared, even though both are utterly incredible.

I think I asked for this on the first GNR song you did, but I'm going to ask again; please react to Guns 'N Roses "You're Crazy Live Late Show 1988". Axl's voice (to me) is perfection in this video, the best way I can describe it is if Robert Plant (Led Zepplin lead singer) and Janis Joplin had a love child, it would be Axl Rose in that moment.

Singer Axl Rose wrote SWEET CHILD O' MINE for his ex-wife Erin Everly. They had a short-lived marriage. They dated for longer than they were married. Erin Everly is the daughter of Don Everly of the Everly Brothers. Funny thing, Axl Rose had a better relationship with Don Everly than his own daughter did.
