    Acura Man - Greetings, Love your video, brought me back memories. I felt in Love with that RSX when it was first introduce, test drove it and dream of getting it one for the longest time. The Acura was extremely small in the back seat, having family that did not work out very well. All I could do was just to continue dreaming. Great Beautiful RSX with excellent detail and video. Btw, I’m searching for an RSX in good condition. Any suggestions of where to look? Facebook marketplace is so “hit or miss” and the majority of RSX’s on the site are rust buckets that are too far gone. Appreciate that help. 🙏🏼

    I did a similar detail on the wheels of a Mercedes I used to have. The difference being that between each lug nut, there was an itty bitty hole the size of a q-tip. I grabbed a bunch of q-tips. lol

    I loved it when you replaced the battery with Honda/Acura. My '94 Legend needed a new battery just a few days ago. Keeping things stock is #1. I contacted my local Acura dealer. They didn't have a current part number as it's officially discontinued and as you know, aside from the battery tray issue, anything slightly larger wont fit as there's no room for play under the hood. The parts guy got the size specs and called me back shortly. Other recent or current Acuras have same size spec so he had a few in stock and got my battery!
    As with the other resto videos, this gave me such a good feeling to see how clean everything is. As usual the best car videos on youtube. You slowly show the whole car and we get to really see everything. Beautiful car. Your neighbor is obviously thrilled.

    Hey Tyson! Keep up the amazing vids! I remember i used to own a used 2003 RSX, tgen traded in it for my current TSX with 15,000km. It now has about 418,000km.
    My 2006 Acura TSX has a compression ratio of 1: 10.5. In the 2004 owners manual, it clearly states the premium fuel is needed to avoid damage to the engine. In the 2006 owner's manual, it indicates 91 is recommended, not required. However, in the 2006 TSX gas door, it clearly states premium fuel only. Why the inconsistency? I remember putting in 87 gas once and on the freeway while cruising at around 2500 rpm, the check emission light came on. I wasn't even driving hard.😢
    Now I only put in 91 octane.

    • @TysonHugie
      @TysonHugie  Год назад

      I’m not sure on the inconsistency either. But I always run 91

    495k - that just goes to show the longevity of the K24! Now we know why that's the swap choice of everyone. The Satin Silver RSX looks phenomenal with the re-paint! Those headlights could be wetsanded and buffed out. Wow - an Electron Blue Pearl SI - talk about a rarity! When you did the clutch, hope you had the rear main seal changed out as well. Your attention to detail with the green Interstate battery, door key cylinder scraping is spot on! Now to get those windows tinted to protect that interior...
