I'm not talking about your rating of perk decks, but the fact that on the video in the background, there are barely any cops. When I play this map, there are easily three to four times as many, they tend to be absolutely swarming in front of the ship in groups of dozens. This is a reoccurring phenomenon I notice in many DSOD videos, even if they feature 4 players.
I’ve watched the carrot video on how to do death sentence and it’s to use cover efficiently. Cover as in killing the enemy and overall moving around the map with map knowledge. The Alaskan Deal is a relatively small map and troops spawn in the same area. It’s always thinning the group before they get the chance to swarm up. Another reason I’ve only done DSOD on the stealth heists.

Idk I've been pretty drunk on stoic Not invincible but, like, 1600 hp, and you can regen. Also instead of insta death you got like 12 seconds to press a button that's available every 10 No pesky armor suppression. Just press button to ignore problem (cannonically how it works)
The thing with maniac is that it has saved me from getting downed multiple times as I managed to use a first aid bag before my stacks ran out and I die. That is why maniac is good
I thought Kingpin would not be good for new players because in lower difficulties enemies do very little damage and so the injector would not heal you very much
It's not a low difficulty level tier list. Left side is death sentence beginner and right is good/advanced death sentence player. Tier lists are completely pointless on DW and below because you're unkillable no matter what you pick.
Biker use to be my go to perk deck when I was a noob I just pick utility skills Like drill skills Saw , C4 , carrying two deployable and see which are needed I set my self a sentry nest and let my team handle the rest . Muscle use to be my alternative when I want play more agro Kingpin , anarchist , crew chief ... Even ex prez where way too complicated for me to understand
Personally i play on Overkill or Mayham on average and the perk i like to run the most is Grinder, since i run Assault Rifles and the fire grenades with the bots giving me the regeneration ability after 35 kills i can effectively use them as a means to get health back. As long as you play smart and don't do something that gets you killed you can effectively keep your health up. With the right setup Grinder can be a solid frontline soldier type deck. Muscle has been one I've been experimenting with recently and i love it's extra health and regen, however i keep getting that grinder shoot to get health mindset which isn't great. Stoic was my go to perk for a long time, been the first perk deck i played. But lately I've really come to like the ability to get my health back without the need of Jokers. Stoic usually relies on your Jokers to get that health back up and i much rather expand my perk arsenal. That's why i like to run Grinder so i have a way to heal and i am smart about not dying (usually) Hacker is one of my favourite perks as well because of it's multi use ability and the healing effect, although sometimes it can suck when you don't manage to kill and your means of healing is on a cooldown. I have the same feeling with Leech, i know the perk deck is good but for some reason i just can't have synergy with it, however it is good for being able to heal teammates. But i think a lot of these perk deck's just come down to style and the weapons you use. Muscle benefits greatly from loud fast firing weapons like LMG's and AR's because of the panic feature. While Stoic and Leech can benefit from high DPS weapons for the quick kills to fill up your ability. The perks really show you the various builds you can make and that's why i love PayDay 2 builds. I'm almost always finding new builds. One of my favourite ones is a literal war crimes build I like to run Grinder with a low concealment Breaker 12G for a crit built, as well as Poison round Arbiter grenade launcher and viper grenades. This combo with Grinder means i can cover the map in poison cloud and effectively keep my head up while also causing the enemy to vomit. and the Breaker 12G is a very powerful weapon when crits are available. Especially when you have the entire Shotgun based skills. But really the toxic gas is what makes this build so effective.
I'm a huge noob at this game but man am I glad I discovered leech. Who knew that the decks designed around being versatile and good in most situations would be high ranking :p
Have you tried playing tank with hitman deck? For new player or not it might be difficult to find cover and regen armor if you are being shot from everywhere. Combining with the strongest armor you might regen above 200 armor point once every 1.5 seconds no matter what. I would give it an A if im a beginner.
Problem is that hitman does not get any hp bonus, so 2 shots from a heavy and you're dead. If you get aimlocked by multiple units at once (which is very likely if you are new), then the 1.5s regen won't really matter since even "tanky" hitman barely has any HP.
1.5 second is only too long in death wish and death sentence, i was having little trouble with this playstyle so far because you'd likely to pair it with aced hostage taker so to me its really good because im really bad as such in an open map with less covers.
If we’re going by my experience trying to learn Kingpin, I’d say the rating for new players is a bit high. Or I’m just that bad. Or I’m in a weird spot where I’ve been playing with other decks so long that it’s hard for me to break old Anarchist/Stoic habits.

Something I'd think you are missing is playing maniac with health. I see nobody playing it this way. The damage reduction lets you play around with falling back on your health being a resource. Which can be pretty tanky when paired with ictv. And it also reduces the damage your team takes. Solid B tier. D tier makes sense because new players fail to kill alot
I have no idea, but would the Maniac perk deck excel with fire weapons like DB shotguns, Molotovs and Flamethrowers? They deal damage over time. As well as poison arrows for bow weapons.
Imma simp for Gambler a bit. Much like Crew Chief it is very party dependant for it's effectiveness. I categorically refuse the premise that more bullets is a bad thing, more bullets good. Also it stacks with the effects of Fully loaded, I don't believe it gives nades but the 75% boost also means the kick back of 50% of your ammo pick ups to your allies is boosted. Plus you get ammo from the Gambler even for rockets and stuff so it opens up some space for different weapons to be used more effectively by allies.
"The deck is bad when it's not fully upgraded" 1- Every single deck is like that 2-A new player joining DS with a perk deck that's not fully upgraded is like sticking a "kill me" note on their forehead. Hitting the flask is hard at first, but is very easy to get used to, you'll also learn how to use cover properly at the same time.

Stoic however, removes your armor and applies it to HP, and the final skill is what grants the "heal after using it", which is actually what the entire perk deck should do from the beginning.

Want Crits? Suit Anarchist to gain a natural 30% chance to critically hit without need of Unseen Strike. Using Beserker? Again, might as well pair the higher crit chance with the double damage for stupid numbers. Wanna move faster and keep up with your team? Suit Anarchist. Wanna have those two seconds of god mode? There’s a reason Armroer inherited it from Anarchist. I’m not saying that Armorer is bad, but the fact that it’s just so outclassed but Anarchist in every way except *ahem* “tanking” is the reason WHY people want it to be buffed, not because of dodge.
Tried Stoic (not fully upgraded so maybe my experience was shifted) every little hit and you need to drink otherwise you can die i know you're supposed to play with FAKs but cmon i almost used most of them because i couldnt drink flasks twice in few seconds and first police assault didnt even end. So im playing with Leech fully upgraded im happy with it, saved my ass few times. Im gonna try Stoic after i upgrade it fully to compare which one of them is best for me but as for now Leech>Stoic.
Now, Rogue is just overshadowed by Copycat First card faster swap than rogue Less dodge but you can bring like overpowered shit like injector. 15+5 suit dodge and 75 damage reduction. And a 2 second godmode on healthshot What was Overkill thinking?
Map knowledge, assault state knowledge, knowing perk limits, playing around bullseye and learning how to kite altogether with dumb enemy ai abuse. "Mastering" all of those will guarantee you'll be able to no down at least 90% of the time regardless of what you play. The only problem is that the game does not really reward not downing so focusing on this isn't really that important. On the gameplay from this video I downed twice because I didn't really care, the only time I go for no downs is when I do solos for content.
Yokai: I’ll put this perk lower cause newer players have a hard time killing and this perk is all about killing Also Yokai: Leech S+ Leech is bad for new players cause you have to kill to get your hp chunks back, but great for people who can kill with ease.

"zerk" is when you lower your hp as close as possible to 0 to use the skill Berserker. M1 is the right name for the left click, in this context it means holding down left click to kill enemies fast
I don't understand how people underrate hitman so much like have I miss read something or uncancelable armour regen is absolutly broken. like idk about high level or death sentence but when your deck is that forgiving I simply cannot call it bad. would recommend to every new player also I wouldn't recommend armoror to new player. a new player rarely use buff/cooldown trackers and they don't have the game sens yet to fully exploit 2 seconds invulnerability and might even bait them to over extand.
update I've learn about amor gating using light vest on sociopath and now the regen on hitman seems underwelming. would still recommende it to cod player
I started playing Sociopath like 7 month and I can hardly change perk decks, Melee with this build is so amazing and the feel of playing it is just incredibly satisfying. I'm IN LOVE with Sociopath now. Sniping and Bullying buldozers with my katana is a full time job now

Leech is a good deck, but the players that used it and Ive been play with makes it bad. Like downing 22 times in a 16 minutes heist, how is that even possible
Id say anarchist and stoic is best for mayhem and dw, leech is god, ONLY in ds cuz you take the same damage when leech is acitvate no matter the diff and how low the damage is

It’s the most consistent health perk deck I’ve used so far.

Tried Stoic (not fully upgraded so maybe my experience was shifted) every little hit and you need to drink otherwise you can die i know you're supposed to play with FAKs but cmon i almost used most of them because i couldnt drink flasks twice in few seconds and first police assault didnt even end. So im playing with Leech fully upgraded im happy with it, saved my ass few times. Im gonna try Stoic after i upgrade it fully to compare which one of them is best for me but as for now Leech>Stoic.
Stoic is best left at 2/9 cards until you have enough points for 9/9, the cards in between only make the deck weaker until you get the last one.

Yokai how to you reduce getting downed I always die what do you normally do ?
Map knowledge, assault state knowledge, knowing perk limits, playing around bullseye and learning how to kite altogether with dumb enemy ai abuse. "Mastering" all of those will guarantee you'll be able to no down at least 90% of the time regardless of what you play. The only problem is that the game does not really reward not downing so focusing on this isn't really that important. On the gameplay from this video I downed twice because I didn't really care, the only time I go for no downs is when I do solos for content.
The only problem with kingpin is that when you switch to the other tank deck, they kinda suck

Yokai: I’ll put this perk lower cause newer players have a hard time killing and this perk is all about killing
Also Yokai: Leech S+
Leech is bad for new players cause you have to kill to get your hp chunks back, but great for people who can kill with ease.

"zerk" is when you lower your hp as close as possible to 0 to use the skill Berserker. M1 is the right name for the left click, in this context it means holding down left click to kill enemies fast

I don't understand how people underrate hitman so much
like have I miss read something or uncancelable armour regen is absolutly broken. like idk about high level or death sentence but when your deck is that forgiving I simply cannot call it bad.

also I wouldn't recommend armoror to new player. a new player rarely use buff/cooldown trackers and they don't have the game sens yet to fully exploit 2 seconds invulnerability and might even bait them to over extand.
update I've learn about amor gating using light vest on sociopath and now the regen on hitman seems underwelming. would still recommende it to cod player

I started playing Sociopath like 7 month and I can hardly change perk decks, Melee with this build is so amazing and the feel of playing it is just incredibly satisfying. I'm IN LOVE with Sociopath now. Sniping and Bullying buldozers with my katana is a full time job now

Leech is a good deck, but the players that used it and Ive been play with makes it bad. Like downing 22 times in a 16 minutes heist, how is that even possible
Id say anarchist and stoic is best for mayhem and dw, leech is god, ONLY in ds cuz you take the same damage when leech is acitvate no matter the diff and how low the damage is
Perk deck which makes you basically immortal on overkill and less (grinder) got B-... do I have to elaborate any further? Sure it's not death sentence viable but still you have greatly undergraded this one
