Here are my mods if you're interested: ruclips.net/video/zavhUFn2YRY/видео.html I basically reached the character limit of the description, so imma say it here: the test is not meant to be taken 100% seriously. It's hard to know everything, for example despite me having enough knowledge to make this guide, I have 0 clue about this game's breakpoints and anything math related compared to most other players and if I were to take a test related to it, I wouldn't be able to score even half the points for sure. I doubt that I would score max points on someone else's test that would be similar to mine either since everyone has a different playstyle, so if you scored 6 points, you can consider it as successfully passing the challenge. Since uploaded videos can't be re-edited properly, this comment will be the place to do that (sort of). The video has a lot of things covered, but I'm pretty sure there's stuff others might come up with that we forgot about, if you happen to do that, then reply to this comment. If what you say is correct and I think it's worth-noting, I will edit this comment and add it to the list: Stuff we forgot about: 1. Armor suppression (importance: above average) - when you trigger LoS and your armor happens to be destroyed, you won't be able to regenerate it as long as cops are aiming at you (that makes bullseye even better). This happens the most with swat turrets, be careful if you see one. 2. Hostage tanking (importance: above average) - ONLY WORKS AS HOST. I did it during the video at 37:45. As long as you're inside a dominated cop (as weird as it may sound...), their shots won't reach you, but they can still punch you, so you're not completely unkillable.
I have a two questions For assault stages especially fade, how do you abuse it? do you just kill as much as possible? but later on you said not to kill everyone so I am conflicted also for grace period how do you abuse it? like how do you force to be shot by heavy swat units and not light units? do you just target them?

In this particular clip I focused on showcasing how to spawntrap enemies and dozers were only slowing it down. I was playing with my team at the time and that's why there was another dude on the roof with me - his job was to help me with dozers hence I ignored him. Overall, ignoring dozers is usually done because of two things: 1. Laziness - sometimes I just don't feel like dealing with them and since they're not exactly the bigges threat, I just ignore. 2. Some dozers don't need to be killed as they don't really have any impact. For example, minigun dozers are very weak on their own and other than their massive HP, they do not have much to offer. They can only ever be an issue if you're being cornered and rushed by multiple units, so killing that one wasn't my priority. Some dozers that are far away from the objectives can also be ignored because theoretically objecitves is where you should stay and them running around the map is not much of an issue. Most of the time heavy unit will be the one to shoot you since most of enemy units consist of them. Knowing that you are not going to get shot to death within that small time allows you to jump from cover to cover without major issues.

Cuz' mods exists, and a lot of them makes the game easier, some are just some help, like know the assault state you are, some are cheats, these ones aren't good to use, but it exists Oh, and if sounds like hate, it's not
Would like to offer a personal thanks for this guide, i had some ideas and knowledge down, but i had no idea that the AI had aimbot and you needed to use cover to effectively deaggro their aim, so you can imagine my frustrations when i keep going down basically instantly every time i tried DS, after learning that tip and spending some time getting the muscle memory down for shooting, retreating into cover and reloading etc.. i managed the undercover heist on DSOD without any downs! tis crazy how there's about 6-7 tips which are essential to know and if any of those basics are missing you just basically can't get into DS, tysm for the info, and looking forward to the DSOD climb thanks to you!
Ayyy, awesome to hear! This game does indeed have some crazy stuff going behind it, that you're not likely to discover on your own without watching specific guides ;-;
I can play death wish with quite some ease, most heists are finished on dw without a single down (solo), but death sentence has always remained an issue for me. I rarely play online so the teamwork stuff might not help me a lot but I hope some of these tips can help me have a better time on ds. Def gonna be using silent weapons with every build from now on and I surely have to make a few small edits to my skills, but this video gave me hope that I might finally get those remaining ds achievements even if I play on my own. Great vid! Btw does anyone have any recs for good weapons? I've been using the akimbo VD-12 shotguns since they came out but I'll use anything other than snipers and single shot weapons.
@@mushroomroots9867 it's either the contractor or grom sniper rifle. and yes, in this game every weapon can do fine even on DS, always run whatever you desire on any difficulty
The editing choice of having demonstration clips not take up the entire screen, particularly when off to the side, just limits how useful the actual clips can be, especially on mobile
All the way up till the end, I was watching and going to ask about the difference between being a mostly solo player and team play. Guess I’ll have to look up that guide. I’m on console and struggling to finish a couple of perk decks, but have been routinely doing overkill and expanding into mayhem with some difficulty. I figure once I start getting a few infamy ranks under my belt it will go a little quicker (for exp on perk decks and builds). It’s still a little frustrating because it feels heavily gated. My team AI are absolute beasts, but still leave a little to be desired when I make a mistake.
Well I learned why I can't play green bridge for sh*t now... left side sure is a trap can confirm... cant believe I never considered going to the right side myself. Seriously I have to start turning on my 1 braincell for this game.
Thank you for the guide my friend. I tried a game of DSOD on jewelry store loud with bots to try to apply this knowledge, and I was doing a lot better compared to my usual "tee hee I wonder how long we'll survive" DSOD runs I did with my friends in the past, but I kept running into an issue, and if anyone has any tips for this, I'd love to hear; Not too sure if it matters, but I was running a dodge build with the rogue perk deck. I would notice that the assault state changes to "fade," peek out from my hidey hole in the back and start trying to clear cops from the front of the store and street so that I can make it to the van without insta-dying, but although I wasn't dying or otherwise taking health damage while clearing the area out, by the time I almost clear out the street of most of the enemies, cops would start spawning again, effectively making it impossible for me to get the bags to the van without hoping that I magically don't get hit more than twice. I did also try holding the front of the store, but I ran into the same problem. It might just be that I'm running into a Skill Issue™ - not clicking enough heads in the given time, but maybe I'm doing something wrong strategy-wise? Maybe it's just a byproduct of playing with bots? Maybe it's the nature of the low firepower of a dodge build? idk.
Bots are very powerful, but their killing power isn't quite there, they're meant to be meatshields. What you wanna do when playing with them is the application of targeting knowledge since they heavily increase the spawn rate and it's pretty hard to kill all the cops during fade. Place them in spots where they would trigger line of sight against themselves, kill the cops in your path and focus on optimal route + overall movement more than trying to kill everyone during one fade.
Thank you guys! I abused the bots' health pool and made them take aggro during fade, and after a couple of tries, I got all eight bags to the van!(and then spent another 10-15 minutes on Park Escape attempts lol). Losing line of sight on top of the bots taking aggro made moving the bags a lot safer than it looked.
I cant count but I got all but the first one, which I didn't understand. So thats like 9 or 10 points? Either way, doesn't make me a DSOD god, just proves I watch PD2 yt too much. Anyway love the video, I knew most of it by mucking around in the game but having it confirmed and concise instead of sounding like superstition i came up with is the best way to teach my gf that its that the reason she gets downed isn't cus she doesn't have dlc (neither do i) but bc shes out in the open constantly targeted by probably 700 cops, dies and then says leech is the worst perk deck ever.
I have some questions, if someone knows, feel free to share knowledge. I want to complete every map on DS solo, cause I don't have any friends and not always the pub games are available. So, there situations where the wave never stop. For example, in cook off, even playing solo with AI or Not AI, the captain respawn and I can't complete the mission cause moving to the van is quite difficulty for many reasons, such as enemies spawns are infinity. What should I do then ? Try to kill captain anyways or get build dodge and ignore him ? The same goes to turrets. In the video are mentioned that less enemies in the map mean they are more strong. So playing solo, is best to get AI or not ? With the question above, playing solo with no AI with build dodge is good ? If is not, Wich build/perk are better ? Anark with great damage, hacker with lots of dodge, armor/stoic with sustein ? Disclaimer: This questions were made to play solo DS, I think with other players, DS more easier Thanks since then!
Solo with AI is much much easier compared to solo no ai. The bots have almost infinite hp and tank forever + enemies are slower, so it's in your best interest to enable them. For best perks, you can watch the tier list on my channel, whether you're solo or not their placement doesn't change much.

if you don't mind my asking what black magic do you use to turn the KSP in the background footage into a laser beam?
I could use some elaboration on “using grace period”, since it’s not the kind of game where you can predict which enemy is going to shoot you first.
Most of the time heavy unit will be the one to shoot you since most of enemy units consist of them. Knowing that you are not going to get shot to death within that small time allows you to jump from cover to cover without major issues.
I didn't listen to half the things you said because I was too busy raving tf out of the psychedelic trance you left playing in the back.

@@ace6806 In all seriousness though dude, I watched it all and it's a very nice and inclusive guide. Sent it to a friend I'm trying to help who's dipping his feet in DSOD. Glad to have someone like you around, you're doing great work 🤘
@@raydgesilverlight2141 Well, now it's more like "to have had someone like you around" since I no longer payday, but to this day I'm being told this is the best DS guide people have seen, so it's good to know I'm contributing to a better experience for many players around the globe. C:
28:35 Damn, I have over a thousand hours in this game and always thought that was an intentional game mechanic.
Considering it has not been fixed for years, it's very easy to think so xD
35:18 My answer is that you rushed so yes that was my habit sometimes regardless of any difficulties but everything in this video such as silencer being op and then waiting also not peeking too much is useful.
Just starter watching but alredy looks like a masterpiece
Damn, have fun watching, hopefully you watch it fully :D.
You are no longer sick, congrats!
No longer wicked either though...
2:46 soundtrack name?
You're so good you play Payday 2 with a black screen 24/7
:thinkge:
What's the remix of Soviet Connection used in the video?
ill probably just watch the timestamps on what i feel like i need to know more but man, this guide is super in depth. thanks for making this man im sure this will help a lot of people (also why did you change your name for the like 5th time lol)
Bored of the previous nick

What this BGM!? sounds good
wanna know :)
It's called Payback Roulette
I got into my AI heisters bodies (uwu) and stared minigun skulldozers dead in the eye as they tried to blast me point blank. Did not suffer any injury, even survived a double dozer rush with a medic. Completed No Mercy on Deathwish after only 1 single failed attempt. (Forgot to take a second sample and struggled to clear enemy groups, my samples kept breaking.)
Grats!
2:05, Ive never heard anyone call it a cheat, and while I *could* see how people could think that, I think the things of BAI should just be base game, and if anything, it doesn't help you too much because the other people will figure it out in a second anyway
I've seen a bunch of people call it a cheat, but well, to each their own
"How to make death sentence more easy on VANILLA payday2" is a way better tittle
Why so?
Cuz' mods exists, and a lot of them makes the game easier, some are just some help, like know the assault state you are, some are cheats, these ones aren't good to use, but it exists
Oh, and if sounds like hate, it's not
28:30 song name it sounds dope af, pretty please

@@ace6806 Thank you so much ^_^
Would like to offer a personal thanks for this guide, i had some ideas and knowledge down, but i had no idea that the AI had aimbot and you needed to use cover to effectively deaggro their aim, so you can imagine my frustrations when i keep going down basically instantly every time i tried DS, after learning that tip and spending some time getting the muscle memory down for shooting, retreating into cover and reloading etc.. i managed the undercover heist on DSOD without any downs! tis crazy how there's about 6-7 tips which are essential to know and if any of those basics are missing you just basically can't get into DS, tysm for the info, and looking forward to the DSOD climb thanks to you!
Ayyy, awesome to hear! This game does indeed have some crazy stuff going behind it, that you're not likely to discover on your own without watching specific guides ;-;
Doesn't one of those sides in green bridge let cops shoot you from underneath?
Are silencers a 100% must bring? I play solo with AI and i think as if the AI draw attention
what build did you use in the dragon heist footage?
quick question, whats the song/soundtrack called you put on this vid, it's f-ing lit
You can also just, run stoic, with ICTV, that shit goes hard
You can, but more knowledge would make the game easier nonetheless
super poradnik jak być lepszym bardzo dziękuje za pomoc

Thanks !
What rifle are you using for the intro? Would you recommend it for anything below death sentence?
@@mushroomroots9867 it's either the contractor or grom sniper rifle. and yes, in this game every weapon can do fine even on DS, always run whatever you desire on any difficulty

The editing choice of having demonstration clips not take up the entire screen, particularly when off to the side, just limits how useful the actual clips can be, especially on mobile
Don't think that's the problem. The problem is that I could have made them a bit brigher instead
can i do the same on xbox or something similar that works fine ?
Cant wait for this guide to mean absolutely nothing after i still get instantly incapped and dodge never works
I heard UN Owen and GTA 4 remixes in there. Source for them?

@@ace6806 Many thanks. These are really old but still really good.
My AI guide might help you with decent settings, I suppose: ruclips.net/video/nbDagJxUoOQ/видео.html

That was the point of the entire video
is the speed of cops relaying on their numbers a game mechanic or an oversight. weird
Good question, I actually have no idea myself
Thank you for the guide my friend. I tried a game of DSOD on jewelry store loud with bots to try to apply this knowledge, and I was doing a lot better compared to my usual "tee hee I wonder how long we'll survive" DSOD runs I did with my friends in the past, but I kept running into an issue, and if anyone has any tips for this, I'd love to hear;
Not too sure if it matters, but I was running a dodge build with the rogue perk deck.

Disclaimer: This questions were made to play solo DS, I think with other players, DS more easier
Thanks since then!
Solo with AI is much much easier compared to solo no ai. The bots have almost infinite hp and tank forever + enemies are slower, so it's in your best interest to enable them.
For best perks, you can watch the tier list on my channel, whether you're solo or not their placement doesn't change much.
Hey this helped i got 9-7 points
