    Today, I will be sharing my another favorite butter bread recipe.
    As you can see from the name, this bread has lots of butter from top to bottom.
    Amazingly soft and buttery texture that everyone will love it!

    Butter Top Bread
    Loaf pan
    All purpose flour 260g
    Sugar 15 g (1 Tbsp)
    Salt 5g (1 tsp)
    Instant dry yeast 5g (1 tsp)
    Egg 1 (50-55g)
    Lukewarm water 80-100g (about 40℃ / 104℉)
    Unsalted butter 50g
    Unsalted butter for topping 35g
    Please prepare ✔️
    * Leave butter and egg are at room temperature for 30 minutes to 1 hour to get rid of cold.
    * Grease the pan for easy removal.
    1. Put all dry ingredients (flour, sugar, salt, instant dry yeast) in a clean bowl and lightly mix with a whisk. Then add the egg and lukewarm water and mix. Please make sure to add water in 3 portions. Add in butter and mix evenly.
    2. When the butter is well mixed, transfer the dough to the workbench and start kneading the dough. Use the heels of your hands to push down and outward. The dough of butter top bread has a high content of butter, so the dough is very tacky than other dough. Gather the dough using a scraper and knead evenly on all sides. If the dough is too sticky to knead by hands, you can add a little extra flour (half Tbsp-1 Tbsp).
    3. After about 10 to 15 minutes, take a small piece of dough and slowly stretch it out in opposite directions. If the dough becomes thin enough to appear semi-transparent before it tears, it’s done. Transfer the dough to a clean bowl and cover with a wet cotton cloth. Let dough proof until puffy and doubled in size in a warm place.
    (Approximately 1 - 1,5 hours / Proofing time may vary depending on the working environment.)
    4. Transfer the dough to the workbench. Press the dough to remove gas and divide it into 3 parts. Shape each dough into smooth ball of dough. Cover the top and wait for 15 minutes.
    5. After 15 minutes, roll out the dough using a rolling pin, then roll it from top to bottom. After closing the joints well, put them in the prepared bread pan. Let dough rise until it reaches to the height of the pan in a warm place. (Approximately 50-60 minutes)
    6. Before baking, use scissors to cut the surface of the dough. Then put butter(35g) on the cut part. Bake for 25 minutes in an oven preheated to 175℃ (347℉).
    7. Turn the loaf out onto a wire rack and allow it to cool completely.
