Great channel, tx ! I've found my answers here and opted for the Gaming OC. Awesome card, overkill cooling with the copper caloducts. I'd say, it's in a great spot for those who update from 1050-80 series (like older gamers who'll wait another 6 years before going 4k). 170+ fps in Battlefield, 150+ in Hogwarts Legacy with latest drivers. It costs 550 euros in Switzerland today. Don't forget, it's the pcb from the 4070ti😅 and I love the cover gloss all over, reliability seems to be here. I'm not worried about vram, if you use afterburner you can see it shares ram with the system, up to 8GB peaks to compensate. Sorry AMD, not this time again: Ada Lovelace package is way better 😊.
So I love the 40 series Gaming OC. I even bought the Gaming OC 4080. It's a good looking card and I really like the RGB under the fans, but I'm so confused why they made it so big for the 4070. I needed another GPU for my 2nd PC, and I was lucky enough to get a 4070 Founders Edition from best buy at launch before they went out of stock (quickly). the 4070 Founders is tiny in comparison. It's the size of a 3060 Ti but it stays pretty cool. I had CyberPunk on highest settings 1440p and it only hit 66c. I thought about getting a Gaming OC 4070 but I've always wanted a Founders Edition at launch day, AND if I would've gotten that Gaming OC 4070, it would be really hard to get in my case as it would've barely fit in there.
RTX 30 series sold very well. The RTX 3060 12GB is the most used graphics card according to the Steam Hardware Survey. The RTX 3070 is the 4th most used.
I have been ussing it for a gaming and 3d dessign ,playing the last of us and atomic heart at ultra graphics and it never have gone over the 64°c . Highly recomended
Asus 4070 Dual is the way for this TDP, capabilities, etc. and price. Three fans ar not nessary here, RGB raninbows, either, those things are not logical for what this card offers. If I don't have money for a powerful card, then I don't have to spend it on (...boludeces). Asus 4070 Dual is perfect in this segment, you should review it. It would be great if you could show pictures of pcb's in your videos. Just for us to check the vrm's, etc. Other than that, I really like the aero, I asked from my seller to order it, but I am also in a kind of decline because of the latest articles and about cracking gigabyte gpus and gigabyte refusing to repair or replace. In addition, it costs 800 euros here in Greece. I dont know... I am not into a higher performance card than that, because of the power consumption. 197-200w is the max I can invest. Right now I have a 250w old gpu rated for 800psu and I am looking for something less power hungry than that.
Coming from a 1650 2 fan gpu this video was really helpfull because nesrby dtore is doing great orice for the white one Just need to check what motherboard is compatible with it
i have Gigabyte RTX 3060 right now but planning to upgrade to this GPU because I need a triple display ports to pair with my triple monitor setup (using nvidia surround) yeah I know I can use 2x dp and 1 hdmi but there are some limitation so Im tired of looking for alternatives thats why I need this kind of gpu.. 4090 is out of my budget. btw I have 650w gold seasonic psu and running eith ryzen 5 3600. is it ok to use this gpu with that?
These look good but we already know you can run the 4070 in a much smaller form factor. I'd like to see two fan version of the white model here, for example. The partner card companies are just tacking on existing designs to save money. Which is fine as long as they don't try to command a premium for it.
Usually gigabyte cards uses inferior sleeve bearing fans. Only Aorus series gets double ball bearing. This puts me off so much. Even cheaper asus model uses double ball bearing.
Any review for the galax/kfa2 ex gamer one for this? The branding is cringe but the card looks nice. Never knew KFA2 is a good brand until recently, and it goes for 630 euro. Would like to see your review. Cheers

I haven't tested the Windforce one. They're usually fine except on the 4060 (different cooler) it performed pretty poorly. The Gaming OC I have here and did well. Can't comment on the components underneath, I honestly can't remember.

Great review, but I wouldn't touch Gigabyte, had a fan fail on my 3060ti,. As its out of warranty Gigabyte will not do anything. They will not even allow me to buy fans or a new cooler. Cannot find any aftermarket solution other than full blown water cooling. Cheers Gigabyte!

Making the 4070 over 30cm is stupid move (looking at you MSI). To this day im struggling with my GTX 1080Ti Gaming X Trio. It is either too long or too wide to fit in most small cases. And that is already quite an old GPU. It is totally pointless to make the 4070 big. I was really happy when I saw Asus Dual fan 4070 but the thermal performance on that Dual fan and the Triple fan version is abysmal. Gigabyte Aero is the way to go imho.

Hell yes fakey gaming at over 200fps is GLORIOUS! TDP UNDER 210W also is a nice perk as well! did i mention av1! NOT THE BEST BANG but far from the worst!
its a solid 1440p card, i just hate how they are making them so big for a card that draws like 200 w or less. such a waste of money pushed onto us for a giant cooler we dont need

Gigabyte doesn't honor warranties. They don't even honor RMAs on DOA products. An extra year for gigabyte to tell us they won't warranty their products doesn't help
Your personal experience does not necessarily apply to everyone else. Gigabyte is no different than the other manufacturers when it comes to warranties (and I'm not basing this statement off of just one card).

I haven't tested the Windforce one. They're usually fine except on the 4060 (different cooler) it performed pretty poorly. The Gaming OC I have here and did well.

So the Aero and Gaming OC is just the aesthetics difference? No performance difference?
The results are in the graphs, but basically mostly aesthetics.
Gamin oc is 609 on sale. Gigabyte. Ti is just way too much. I think this is the current sweet spot

It's a pretty card. It's also overpriced, and never buy these cards on day 1, price cuts already, your money, your choice, but this card is a no-go!

thats why I got the 4070 Founders Edition. It has great thermals. There's no need for it to be that big.
More cooling = more better. Just buy a big tower case...

Had to use it once or twice in the last decade. Took a while (but not different from asus or msi) but it was never an issue.
