Glad to finally see an unbiased review. This card is a fantastic option for those of us upgrading from the 1000 series. I have a 1050ti that has soldiered on for me for nearly seven years. I have two fairly pricey 1080p curved monitors I don't want to get rid of anytime soon. Just ordered the Gigabyte 4060 Eagle and it was only $328 after tax with free delivery. Gonna be a massive upgrade for me and it's the final piece of my build, I've upgraded every other component inside this PC that started out as a prebuilt 🤣
I think Its a great card for 1080p. My old build with GTX 980 just died few weeks ago( served me for over 6 years) and i got this 4060 for almost half the price of what 980 was when i bought it. Will last for a while thanks to dlss 3 i think
Bought the ti version of this same card, just retired my 1070, not a single regret. The card is hiting the 70°c on 100%, but here in Brazil we are passing through a heat wave, almost 40°c every day... I can play alan wake 2 max settings rt off 1440p dlss+fg, stable 60 fps... On kombustor benchmarks, with my manual overclock, got almost 150 points above a 3070 ti P1440 3800 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti/PCIe/SSE2 P1440 3934 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti/PCIe/SSE2
Went from 1060ti to this. 1060ti is a beast and was still good for a while. But this upgrade was cheap for me. I'm happy with it and it has definitely improved performance
can this GPU handle AI instructions in adobe Lightroom and photoshop. i currently have the GFORCE GTX 1650 4GB RAM and its not really performing. i do a lot of picture editing. c
im upgrading from a 2060 super, this card is in my price range should i upgrade or no, ps just want ultra settings with raytracing at 50-70 fps i dont care much about 120 plus fps
the 4060 ti 8g is the only gpu under 1000$ in Algeria(its around 672$) if the rtx 4060 arrives at 500$ its going to be a good deal. nvidia plz release more bad GPUs
Any recommendation when deciding between a 4060 and a 3060ti for a new build? Same price. Only reason I can think of for going with the 4060 is that it'll hold it's value better simply because it's newer.
120 Watts under load for the 4060, compared to my 230 Watts for my 3060, with a slight performance lift is a huge difference on my power bill, that is my buying guide, if the cards use more I won't buy it....
Trying to build my own pc and it's very confusing to see a 4060 for example going for cheaper than a 1060. Like what. Automatically makes me think it's trash
4060 dont even need 3 fans in my opinion. i own this card with 3 fans cooler. if you want to buy this card, save money just buy 1 with smaller 2 fans cooler
AIB partner version of the Intel Arc A770 16GB VRAM is a much better upgrade than an RTX4060. The A770 16GB is an amazingly good value graphics card as it costs less and PC games have progressed to needing far more VRAM than they used to; 8GB VRAM used to be enough for 1080p gaming but there are now games out that require a lot more VRAM so 8GB is now only enough for uncompromised 720p gaming - a resolution that is long dead. Even for entry level budget gaming you now need 16GB VRAM to be able to run at 1080p with heavily compromising on game settings that make games look crappy, and those games are going to increase in numbers. The Intel Arc A770 16GB VRAM is the cheapest GPU that has both 2023 ready amounts of VRAM and future proofing, so it's the perfect card for people who can't afford AMD's cheapest 16GB VRAM GPU the Radeon RX6800XT for $499, or NVidia's RTX4080 16GB for over $1,000.
While being a decent performing GPU, the RTX4060 …… there’s many factors deterring many people from buying them and other gpus this generation. I think it’s funny that manufacturers are using 2-fan and 3-fan cooler designs when this tiny GPU die is soooo cool to run ahahah 😅😂🤣 and unnecessarily adds additional costs ing passed onto consumers for this line up of gpus 🤦♀🤦♂💩💩. In addition I can honestly say that the RTX40-series of coolers aren’t the nicest looking overall compared to previous generations.
@@1Maverick2sry for begin mad but iam planing to buy this card with my 3month salary i find no issue with this most of people hate is because it's has low Vram and they said get amd with same price 10gb card but the matter is RTX 4060 focus on less power consumption better performance at 1080p/1440p and it's give cool features like dlcc3 frame generation ray tracing which amd cheap hotter GPUs can't. I'm 1060 user until now this is good upgrade and the low power requirements is really good.
ngl the low power requirements also got me, I can play AAA games in full HD in ultra quality without changing my 500W PSU, for 300$
As someone coming from 1650 i agree 👍

That card is way, way oversized for its power draw. Could be a single fan, or perhaps we can go back to single slot?
Seems to be the case for most of the cards this generation... Strix

Lower thermals is the de wey
isn't it better so its less loud and lower temps?
