Nothing made me happier than seeing you struggle to run Starfield. Don't take it the wrong way, but I genuinely thought I was the only one who cant run the game smoothly. I get 65 frames in 1080p with my 7700 XT however it is still choppy in some areas. People are too busy complaining that the game is boring or the story has no value, but for me I just wanted to have a smooth experience, as I was fully willing to give the game a chance. Ive spent over 50 hours on it, somehow I just got used to the fact that the game cant do better than 60fps
I just found one half on on Amazon - $300 bucks and its the V2 OC 4070. As close as I was to buying the 7800xt for $469, I couldn't resist getting a 4070 for that price ...!
Are you sure that's from Amazon and not a third party? That sounds way too cheap. Reminds me of the "If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is" quote.
@@jordanash You're absolutely correct that it's from a 3rd party seller but I had a Chat with Amazon Customer service noted if this turns out to be a Scam - then I would be able to get a Refund. I also paid using Affirm as to not use my Bank info nor would I have to wait to get Cash back while waiting for the refund!
Okay, in that case good luck. I've heard of a few getting cards that are older generations being flashed to appear as a newer case. Fingers crossed it's legit though.
I have the same card, iam extremely happy with it. One thing worth mentioned, my card is unlocked in voltages, it allows me to increase or decrease them in gigabyte app, also MSI afterburner
Oh one last thing. I also used the gigabyte tool that auto tunes the card for the best oc experience.. Without increasing any voltages it went up to 3015ghz core and +120 for the vram. It was just first day exitement that i tested that. I have it to defaults now , as it performs really good, it doesn't need to be oc
Good to know, thanks mate! I keep things stock for the tests as a lot of people won't play around with voltages and stuff, but I'll definitely remember this if I do any optimisation content. Thanks!
I found it strange because all reviews from other brands or models, claimed that 4070 is locked or voltage limited to 200w, this is why I mentioned it.@@jordanash
Quick question. Does this card connect to the 12VHPWR with 2 8-pin connectors or 3? Just want to double check and make sure, because pcpartpicker says 3 and everywhere else says 2 (i think). Thanks in advance
Thank you for the video! If you have to compere a similar RTX pairing with rx 6900 xt Aorus Master, which one will be? Im in Argentina and it is hard to find one AMD Radeon. Thanks in advance. ( dont like Nvidia, but a need a new gpu)
@@jordanash oh great thanks! one more question. i'm also getting a 1440p 165hz samsung monitor and i was wondering would the 5800x3D paired w this gpu be able to game at 1440p w 120fps or less? or wud the 7800x3D be better for that? sorry for all the questions
Yeah it should be fine. In my 5800X3D build I used a 3080 which if I recall got close to that fps on high 1440P. I would consider the 7800X3D in terms of longevity though, as you have a limited upgrade path on AM4. No worries, happy to help.
Lately I am starting to like white more. Thanks.
You're welcome!
Never thought I would watch a review video about a video card made by Adam Sandler! Lovely video mate, very informative.
Haha, that's a first. Thank you!

Oh mate it is *shocking!*
FSR.
@@qwerty-dm8gr The game runs better with FSR off
So backwards isn't it
@@jordanash It might be that AMD havent fully optimized the new 7700XT and 7800XT. they will get better with drivers

It's covered in the video - 1:43
@@jordanash Thanks. Much appreciated
I do try my best to include everything people need to know, so please watch the videos first.

You're welcome! I'd say the 4070Ti, or 3080Ti if last gen.
Cooling performance and noise are much more important to me than color. I'd go for the MSI GeForce RTX 4070 GAMING X TRIO 12G.
Fair enough!
I would've gone for it if it had fit in the Dan A4-H2O, settled on the Asus TUF version of the card instead.
I hear a lot about the Dan cases, maybe I should see about getting one in
I have a 7800xt in my build(check my channel shorts) and am wondering if I should return for a 4070. I’ve never owned nvidia, and kinda want ine
Nope, I'd stick with the 7800XT. Minus better Raytracing performance on the 4070, they're about on par
what ryzen cpu (under $400) would work best with this GPU? thanks :)
AM4 or AM5? AM4 I'd go for the 5800X3D, then AM5 the 7800X3D
