Good looking minnow lure here sir, Thanks for taking the time to share this with us.
The other day, I was out feeding the dog and putting in more water in her swimming pool she loves. I noticed a fly in here water bottle,
Best I can tell, it is some sort of large bot file. I mean really big, I am working on tieing it the best I can.
Each Time I go out in the kayak fishing, I always take a fly rod, and I enjoy fishing with it, especially this time of year when it is slow going on the summer heat fishing.
We have some fish called Bowfin, I keep seeing them roll, hitting some of the topwater bugs in the mornings. I am looking forward to hooking up to one of those
prehistoric fishes. Maybe this jig or the new fly will incise him or her to strike at it. They have large teeth, I am hoping the line will work like floss and he won't bike the line off.
Keep up the fun videos young man.
    Dale

First off, very nice jig fly. Ill have to tie up a few. Let me say that at @10:05 where you say "lets get it wet to see the real magic", that's not how the fly looks underwater, it looks like what you show at about @10:00. The tapered wet look is only that way out of the water - thats not what the fish see -this segment might be misleading to new fly tiers. A couple other comments; sharpie colors are not very long lasting and you'll have to reapply color after a few times fishing the fly. Copic lasts a little longer, but you'll still have to recolor every so often. And, if the UV resin is tacky after initial curing, just wet it using a q-tip soaked with 90% isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol and the tackiness goes away - no need to apply a second coat of non-tacky UV resin. Again, very nice jig fly!

Do you rough up the jig so that the thread/Material stay on better!
I’ve had to watch this video 3 times, it’s an excellent jig. Very real looking and reminds me of a threadfin Shad paint job on Bomber fat free Shad🤙🏾
Well done and well designed, thanks for putting this up and I look forward to watching more of your tying.

I don’t rough it up, but that could work. Also a drop of super glue over the whip finish would be good.

Beautiful job! I've been experimenting using thick Loon UV resin and 50LB Fluorocarbon line and making a brush guard on the head with two clips of the fluorocarbon line. Place a drop of UV resin on one side of the head, then hold one piece of fluorocarbon in place with my fingers at the right angle, while using the UV light to lock it into place. Then do the same on the other side of the top of the head and lock it in place. Then I cut the fluorocarbon pieces to the same height. Voila! Instant brush guard the fish can't see, but keeps your jigs, and the hard work making them from getting stuck on a piece of brush or tree branches. Give it a try and see if you like my idea.

I tied a few of your ice minnows which work quite nice. I tried added the orange and yellow to the bottom of the jig just to check it out. It looked ice rough but the sharpie coloring washed away. Any clue why? Is it a certain sharpie marker you use?

MJ&F: It might take a little more time to list, but might save questions if you list all materials & products. Such as what type & brand of UV resin used, UV light brand used, etc. I know I'm interested. You use some items I NEVER have, so I have no idea of a baseline to draw from. AGAIN: Thanks for your great creations.
