Good Afternoon Eric Very good to see you back ! I understand what you are saying about Simple . Here in North Carolina , We had a terrible Hot Summer ! It put a Hurt on trying to enjoy fishing That is a decent looking jig ! Besides your heavy work load Wearing you out, Take Care and Be Safe!!
There is no wrong way to tie jigs as long as you keep your stuff tight this is a true artist at work he has been my favorite tyer to watch and I have been tying 11 years myself.
Eric thank you for being down to earth common sence . I really like your style and aproch to tying . I had a great season fishing pan fish . I watched some of your stuff this spring i incorperated it in . You are a great help . Thanks again sir .
Your videos r so much help to so many. I appreciate ya. Step by step tutorial. Always answer questions. You are a inspiration to tiers all over and I 4 one am so happy your doing your videos. A+. Quality Dude 4 real.
Eric, thank you for helping us who are just beginning to tie. One question I have is what sally hensen do you use. There are several different types. Thanks Gary
Eric, if you do just one more wrap with your chenille at the end ( over wrap) you end up with a fuller body and not as much thread showing at the neck…..Nice Rootbeer / white color scheme.
I’ve been doing like you said, looking all over the place for tying material mostly EBay . Have found stuff at Walmart, but found some chenille at hobby lobby , I think it’s 62 yds between $5 &$6. Also found a 64 yds bundle at Dollar Tree. They are a little thicker than #2 but they work well. Thanks again for your videos.
Hey Eric, great tie! Just curious, what is your preferred method for fishing jigs like this? Under a slip bobber? Cast and retrieve? Appreciate your insight
I have been using UV gel for a long time now but I was just curious because at one time you said hard as hull cement was better then Sally Hansen's. I use loon water based cement and really like it. I use Sally Hansen's clear to put over my UV. It basically fixes the tackyness of the UV. By the way it looks like you have lost some weight... hope youbare OK. Guntersville crappie are wife open now. Water temos getting down into the mid to low 70's. Waiting on that 52 degree water temp for the bigger fish. Glad you are back....missed watching your videos. Take care and thanks for all of the content.
Ya I am not diabetic but got on a low carb diet and lost a bunch of weight. I found that sugar also effect I flamation and when I cut my sugars out my stenosis in my back improved and my RA improved big time. It's tough eliminating carbs. What was the hardest for me was potatoes, pasta and breads. Took about a month to stop craving those things. I know one thing I have tons of energy now and sleep better.
Good to see you back. Simple is good. Fits my skill sets.
Very good video!! Just found you on RUclips & it’s exactly what I need…Thank you!!!

Eric....just curious....why did you stop using hard as hull head cement?
Sally Hanson is cheaper and works the same try using Uv resin

I get small bag froM Amazon and make my labels on my printer….. be careful selling can turn a fun hobby into a lot of work
@@ericmasseyjigco Never a truer statement. It can make you go from loving siting at the tying table to dreading it.
Hey Eric which uv resin did you say you really like? You said it dries quicker than some . Thanks
