DONE! I love watching your videos. I'm new to fresh water fishing. We moved to Onalaska, TX last year. It's right on the edge of Livingston,TX. Every year there is a Crappie Fishing Tournament here hosted by the local 102.3 radio station. So I want to learn all I can about catching crappie so I can beat my husband fishing! Lol... thank you!

Well my friend, it has been one year now since finding your channel with all the great fun things to make. I have a garage full of DIY projects and growing every week. I can't go fishing any more due to a medical problem from my Marine Corps days when I zigged and should have zagged but would not change a thing to make it easier to go fishing, my enjoyment is making your projects, letting friends use them. You missed your calling, your funny but your instruction is easy to follow, I for one would like to thank you very much for all the projects, you put a bounce back in my step.

We use 6" of zonker hair for pike fishing on the fly rods, and 3" to 5" black zonker hair on jig heads for walleyes. That's how we Canadians get it DONE for spring fishin N stuff. 9 weight fly rods , large zonker flies, early spring fishing after ice out and determination , a hour of whipping out large flies can wear you out 😁. Can't wait for third Saturday in April ( opening day for trout fishing) in zone 16. Its time to get "r" done and go fish'n. 👍 👍 🇨🇦
