Simple & Easy Hand Tied Crappie Jig No 6

This jig is designed to fish in murky water conditions. The movement of the tail with some sparkle and the material used for the body will attract crappie.
You can use this jig under a bobber with spinning rig or an indicator with fly fishing rig, depending on the size and the weight of the jigs.

Another good one as described-simple and easy. The way you tie under the tail is important, and I don't see a lot of other tyers doing it. That really props up and stabilizes the tail, thanks for that tip.

Beautiful looking jigs.....what time of year do you prefer to fish hand ties over soft plastics?

I prefer catching crappie on the fly rod to a conventional rig with soft plastics. Especially, spring and fall when crappie come to shallow water. Thanks for watching!
