    This is the first jig , I have seen you tie , you made a Beautiful Jig, Sir !

    I am all about keeping it as natural looking as possible, and that jig is the best looking jig recipe I have seen so far. I will be tying up several of these jigs. Thanks for the great video.

    That's a great looking jig and nice how you stacked up the material.... I agree tying up jig's are a rewarding hobby and the little bit I tie for me it's a good stress release.. great tie and good luck out there!

      Thanks, I started tying flies years ago for bream. I just started tying for crappie a couple years ago. I’ve poured my own heads over 25 years

    I’ve been tying for 55 years, and you’ve sir, have developed a natural talent in tying jigs. It would be interesting how you’d do tying flies? Great video, I’m subscribing!

      I started tying flies first, years ago. I’ve tied some extraordinary flies, especially Mayflies, using others RUclips videos. Thank you very much and that’s a huge compliment coming from someone with your experience. 🙏. I may make a video on tying some flies.

    My 11 year old has watched some of your videos and has a real interest in tying his own jigs. What are the essentials he will need to start out? Any info would be great!

      I would start with the cheapest tools available, then if he likes it, buy better ones. Look at BassPro Shop, or a local fly tying shop. You can buy a kit very reasonable. That’s what I started with, a small fly tying kit. Then he can get into tying jigs later. Thanks for your support 🙏

    Could you please share what jig mold that is? the mold I have is for using tube baits, and it gets tiresome cutting that little spur off.

      It’s a Do-It mold, JNR 1062. It pours 4-1/8ths and 4-1/16ths. Round head no shank.
