    Nice, would you be able to post a video of how you make the pinchs? Thanks

      Hi! thanks. Yeah maybe I can post a short! It's fairly easy. I draw and design any new tail on some millimeter paper, cut it and then stencil that cut on my faux suede.

      What do you use to paint the suede?

    Great tie and subject. I'm amazed how seldom see crayfish flies. IMO, crayfish are a major food source for trout and other stream predators. Anything from a 1/2'' hatchling to a 3'' mini lobster is a meal for a trout.

      Oh yeah its a magic fly for trout and landlocks for me! I mostly use em on bass but tight line nymphing is heavy currents is the way to go for me

    Great fly and tutorial! Where are you getting your 5.5 mm beads from?

    • @odmflies
      @odmflies  5 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you! You can buy them everywhere really. I bought these exact ones at my local fly shop but Hareline makes em, if you want bigger Spawn makes a 6.3mm, 6.4 gets rly tricky because a lot of those beads have small holes.
      Brands like Traper, Hendz, Hanak will all have 5.5mm. Traper has some crazy 7mm aswell 😬

    Thanks from Michigan! Where do you buy the suede / is it just a suede sheet? New to fly tying and am not sure what to buy to make your pattern. Thanks in advance

      The material list is in the video description. For the suede i buy mine from South Korea. But i think Hareline sells small sheets of it.
