      @@nexpro6118 They alluded to ending the show in the beginning of the the membership/monetization talk as one idea to fix Mover's channel's algorithm penalty; resulting in a low views in turn affecting his $$. They decided to instead have the live stream for members only as that removes the live from the algorithm's calculation on serving videos to future viewers, and the membership also makes up for the lost revenue on monetized video views Mover was receiving before starting the podcast.
      The conclusion of the conversation and most of it for that matter there was no other real implication or allusion to possibly ending the show so I can see how anyone may have missed/overlooked the implication/allusion.

    Gonky, discussing interaction with your maintainers, sounds like you did good. As a Senior Enlisted Aircraft Production Superintendent, Good Officers, especially Pilots that flew our jets, if they obviously respected our knowledge and experience, were a treasure on the flight line and always welcome to visit. There is always that officer/enlisted dichotomy of aloofness, primarily to ensure the military chain of command in the hard charging decisions, but respect BOTH ways is what flew airplanes and kept them flying. We were both there, not for the pilot or the maintainer's benefit, but the weapon systems effectiveness. Don't get me started on the pilots that thought we, as enlisted, were "less educated" (less capable), when some of us Senior NCO's had Masters degrees. Above all as you say, we are an integral team, and if ALL on it were team members, that was the best way to fly (and fight) airplanes.

I'm not kidding, when I go out for a while, and he can't join me, if I put up some music, he is most on my bed, but when I put up your full show, he is laying below my working desk. Every time. I'm learning a lot, love the interactions, the jokes, even I'm not an insider in aviation. I spent doing my duties in the 80s in a scouts regiment for 3 years. Deployed a few times in Congo, when things went south there. I would be unhappy you would quit the shows.

    ramjets are more than a century old and yet still kicking. Invented in 1907/ 1913 by a frenchman rené Lorin it was the first reaction engine. Then rené Leduc's serie of insane looking airplanes "010 to 022" in the 50's. The base problem is that it needs almost supersonic airflow to ignite and past mac 6 the airflow is too fast to keep on working. thus ram/turbojet engines compound are created, like in the nord 1500 griffon 2 to brake the low speed barrier and then super ramjets that works in very high machs, like the Hyshot in 2001 and later the x-43A that achieved mach 10 in 2004.... The last issue it still has is that it can't work in space as it still needs oxygen to work and that's why space ships still use rocket engines to this day.

    The engine is very minimal moving parts. Once the main engine get the aircraft to high supersonic you can switch to ram jet. The force of air entering the engine is compressed and heated, then fuel is dumped which is ignited by the heated air. Not compressors like on a normal jet engine. The throttle control is the raw fuel being dumped into the engine.

      So much irony....the droneliner aircraft is EV powered....well...the amount of pollution that is produced to manufacture the MASSIVE batteries that the aircraft will need/use is so much more pollution than what the gas engines produce in 7 years. So, to break even in CO2 emissions, will take 7 years. However, the more EV droneliners that are built, the more batteries that will need to need manufactured/mined, which again, ironically produces a MASSIVE amount of emissions...lol 😂😂 same thing for EV cars....the EV car batteries (during mining and manufacturing) produces on average, 8 years worth of gas engine emissions (for newer cars from, 2016 to current time) so...lol...all of the "save the environment people and global warming people" you are proving to the world how ignorant you are and how much of a sheep like people you've turned into...lol. not to mention being hypocritical without knowing it, considering how you don't do any research at all to find out the MASSIVE amount of pollution is made to make EV cars and aircraft etc...lol 😂😂😂

    A Super Tucano costs $18 million. That $30 million each is the industrial complex lobbyists at work.
    The Droneliner will not work because of all the recent tech errors that have either crashed planes or caused pilots to disengage the tech. One faulty sensor or EW attack and the AI doesn't know if it is flying over the Pacific or flying on the moon. The U.S. government tried man drone passenger flight back in the mid 1900s and killed a bunch of reporters and then covered it up by saying there was classified technology on board. Drones lose contact all the time and 39 Reapers/Predators were already lost in Iraq and Afghanistan from the start till 2010.

    • @nexpro6118
      @nexpro6118 6 месяцев назад

      Side note, the hundreds and maybe even trillions of dollars that the oil companies have to spend for lobbyists, wouldn't immediately stop any EV aircraft from being operational. It would cost the oil companies a MASSIVE amount of profit. Which would than cause the oil companies to raise the gas prices for cars because the oil companies are going to make up for that aircraft liner cost somehow. Good businesses will find ways to recover losses from other sources. No decent company will just eat the cost of losing money from a certain source. No way. Gas would jump to, I'd think to an average of 7 to maybe 8 bucks a gallon.

    1:42:30 Russians have been good at that? Remember the Mig25? Couldn't do any of that and got us to build the F-15. So sort of the opposite of what they wanted.

    • @nexpro6118
      @nexpro6118 6 месяцев назад

      The Mig25 and Mig31, especially the, Mig31can go to and a little above Mach 3, however...it will damage the engine to where it needs to be completely rebuilt to be flyable again/or reliable enough to fly(reliable enough is what Russia finds good enough lol) the Mig25 can go to, Mach 2.78 but can only do so for about 1 to maybe 2 minutes, considering the amount of fuel that's used to get to and stay at Mach 2.5 and above speeds and the engine(s) mounts are being heated and stressed so much that it's dangerous to stay at and or near Mach 2.5 to Mach 2.78 for anymore than 1 to 2 min. Russian aircraft is great at speed....but that's about it....the US actually is very critical of itself to be able to always be improving itself. Example...a study was done (taking data from, 1965 to 1993) that showed that US fighters NEVER reached Mach 2 during combat missions/flying/fighting and on average (on the high end average) reach Mach 1.6 and the majority of the time only reached a max speed during combat missions/fighting/flying of, Mach 1.2 was the 86% of the majority of the time. So....US found out that they(the US military) doesn't not need to waste time/resources/money and research and development on aircraft/fighter speeds, but to spend the money and time and resources and research and development on technology/sensors/radars and reliability and other technology and systems that's more usable and creates a more advantage survival rate in air combat. Russia only has the resources and money to focus on the things they are only good at, which is, speed and maneuverability. However, the odds of a dog fight in a peer to peer air fight is so low that Russia would have to send a, 10x amount of aircraft/fighters at the US aircraft/fighters to even have a chance....we've seen how Russia is having a hard time of sending up just a formation of just 4 fighters at a time over Ukraine....
