  • In this Vincero Watch Review video, I review the 'Chrono S' from Vincero to answer the question 'are Vincero watches worth it?'. This Vincero review is unpaid/unsponsored, I have no affiliation with the brand. I also compare MVMT vs Vincero, based on my previous experiences.

    My recommended alternatives to fashion watches:
    1. Swatch (Swiss made)
    2. Seiko (World renowned)
    3. Traser (Swiss made - United States defense contractor)
    3. Citizen (Scuba watches prefered by professional divers)
    4. Casio (One of the first producers of digital watches; now also analog watches in their portfolio)
    5. Timex (Since 1854 - Once the world's largest manufacturer of watches)
    6. Fossil (The first providers of watches with a retro look)
    7. Orient (Japan made)

      @@GLAXxan I am going to say we don't know but Ben did a review with MVMT watch and a watch he bought at china site that looked exactly like it and the quality was the same so it was assumed. But even though its just an assumption and not 100% fact we can conclude that if the quality is the same then we should buy the 2-10$ china one vs the $159 one with a MVMT brand on it. Now for Vincero he didn't make that same conclusion but he did state their watches are manufactured in China as stated on their site. And he did offer at the end of video whether or not he should buy the china website one and compare it to the Vincero he bought to see whether or not to conclude they are of the same quality or not.

    Made in china, ahhh gotta love it. There is a big disparity of watch making in China. On one end you have sweatshops with dirty fingers, a poor working environment and barely trained workers.
    Then you have dust free rooms, trained and experienced watchmakers with at least 10 years experience, lab coats, microscopes and absolute commitment to detail just like Japan and even crazier than Switzerland. Those guys make watches for microbrands like Traska, Dan Henry and Helson/Armida just to name a few.
    Unfortunately, I think Vincero is the former...

    • @youngchigger6120
      @youngchigger6120 4 года назад +1

      Howard Lau yeah just be careful though, it’s really easy to just put the label “made in Italy” and etc. to appeal to the consumer. Many companies loophole around this and create factories with the identical working conditions just in another country. It’s quite slick and a proper finesse just try not to fall for it but hey, I very much fall victim to the “oh that must be from that country it has to be good” type thing.

    • @Dalziel45
      @Dalziel45 4 года назад +2

      There's a reason why Quartz watches are usually cheaper than automatics. The lack of moving parts mean sweatshop and poor working environments do not affect the timekeeping aspects of the quartz movement. And that's the only aspect that matters given the rate they churn these out.

    • @MrAnonymousRandom
      @MrAnonymousRandom 4 года назад +6

      I wouldn't be afraid of Made in China watches as long as a reputable supplier is being used and the parts are decent quality. Swiss made doesn't mean much when you can probably meet the requirements by sourcing the bracelet and maybe the case in China and put the swiss movement in. At least that is what Omega is rumoured to be doing.

      @benjaminmoore5345 5 лет назад +12

      sure. As of right now the watch is in a drawer in 3 pieces. I wore it everyday for about a year and a half and honestly loved it. I would brag about it in highschool and for the most part I enjoyed it. Around the year and a half mark the strap completely broke off (I treated it so nicely btw so don't expect it to last as long if you are not super careful). I fixed it by replacing the metal link (not worth the time). That broke a few months later. about a month ago (probably 3 years after I bought it) I superglued it together for fun and tried to wear it. the link broke, it fell on the floor, and busted into 3 pieces that will never fit back together. Long story short, its a cool design and a piece of crap watch. One last major thing to note is that the glass or plastic whatever is scratches super easy. If it makes you happy and you have the money, why the hell not? Just forget about what others think and be you. However, when there are so many alternatives that are just as cool, much better quality, and cheaper; buy that. @Crazy MOFO

    The marble is likely added to increase the weight of the watch as things that are heavier are generally perceived to be of higher quality, which is why headphone manufacturers like Beats add metal weights to the inside of their $10 to manufacture headphones, so that you feel better about spending $200 or more on them. I assume it's the same trick here with the marble.

    As somebody who was considering buying one of these watches, I found this review really good. My suspicions were aroused by the unusually high 5 star reviews on Trustpilot etc, plus reviews on websites ive never even heard of before. I was also concerned about the depth of the watch. They do state the depth on their website, but none of the sales pictures actually show it, so your review helped. I was looking for an everyday watch, so I dont have to wear my TAG all the time (very unreliable watch btw☹) - but one of these watches won't be it. Thanks for helping me decide!

    This thing costs 159 US dollars...and for that price I'd rather go for an Orient Bambino....or scratch together another 50 bucks and get Orient's Sun&Moon..it is an automatic in house movement, with complications and the watch has a proper sapphire crystal. The case finishing and dial are absolutely superb...it actually looks like a luxury watch for a "non-luxury" price. I would know, as I have the gen 3 with white dial. There is also Seiko and Citizen which are the usual suspects in this price range. This Vincero just looks cheap, plain, and uninspired to me...like some shelf watch at wal mart or something. Minimal design can be awesome, a good example being those Skagen watches, which also cost similar to the Vincero.

    Hi, just discovered your channel, I love how you explain why a watch looks and "is" luxury, compared to non luxury, you don't just use fancy buzzwords to say why something is amazing or not amazing, you actually explain these are the reasons,,,a simple example...the font used, the texture of the face, I would never have thought about it at all,,this has been really helpful and insighful :) :)

    This is just another cheap, but decent quartz watch made in China. It isn't that bad, but much, much to expensive. A watch like this you could purchase for no more than 20 Euro's. If you need a proper dresswatch, at that pricepoint, get a Orient bambino.

    The design, I actually really like. The inked logo is a shame, but it's not too bad. The main problem for me is the thickness of the watch. It's just really massive. I haven't seen anyone review the 40mm ones yet, but the 43mm are just way too large. Also, I would love both of those Vincero related videos!

    I realize this is hearsay, but I believe that some other RUclips critics have observed that the exact same watches that Vincero sells, minus the branding, can be purchased direct from China at less than 1/10 the price. I have no reason to believe that’s false, but it would be nice to have independent confirmation. If true, then Vincero basically falls in the same category as MVMT: fraud.

    I have one of these for a year and a half now. It actually holds well for now. I agree with everything you said but for the price this is what you get. The straps loosens a bit with time. It has wear where some of the contact points with surfaces are but overall it holds well. The case is a bit large but quality is decent. Have no problem with it or the glass.

    And, by the way, "Vincero" doesn't mean "victory" as their ad states. In Italian it's either "vincerò" with the accent at the end (so it is pronounced as you would pronounce a French word) which mens "I will win", or it's "vincere", which means "to win".
    "Vincero", as it is written and pronounced, doesn't mean shit. Peace
