Hi Luis, Excellent diagnosis and repair resolution replacement of the faulty ABS unit. 32:22 maybe moisture in internal plastic connections. Could try bake it from curiosity but new used pump is the right way to go. Also wires are silver so not soldible
Happy New Year to you and your Family🎆🎆🎆 What a year it has been, so blessed to have teachers like you looking forward to many more years ahead of learning & excitement🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😍😍😍 Stay Blessed BRO🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Great fix, I guess you could have joined the CAN pins on the connector to prove the integrity if you didn't have a spare ABS pump. As for Bleed Bleeding or Blead the correct one in your situation would be to use Blead.. The other two are used when doing the function I'll bleed the brakes or I'm bleeding the brakes, thus in the process of doing the job. Blead is after you finished the job. The brakes are Blead.
Hello! I change EBCM..l have some issues. ABS system works fine now, but traction control light is on and not allowed learning/programming (Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor) Before the new module installed fault code C0287-4B did not exist.
Hi Two things that come to mind... One is if the module you have installed is the same part number as the previous one... making sure it is compatible with the axis sensors on the car... Second, the tool you are using to program it might not be doing it correctly... 👍👍👍 Which tool are you using?
@siimsau9292 It must be the tools you are using, ot something on the ABS unit you have installed... if you have watched the video, you must have seen that the calibration is a straightforward procedure...
Hi there! I have meriva B 2011, and I replaced the ABS module due to the coolant completely destroyed the original one. ABS is fully operational however I have h to is error message: C0287 (before drive) and after drive C0287-4B: Longitudinal acceleration sensor not calibrated or circuit malfunction. The wheel speed sensor are working just fine, only the ESP light are on. I can figure it out whats this, literally this is what holds me back to get rid of all lights on dash. The abs module has differenr VIN as it was a used part, so its not matching the car’s VIN. Or you think I need to calibrate something first ? Please advise as I am absolutely lost..
Fairly typical cost cutting maintenence - a few quid for a new cap ends in a much bigger problem. Good diagnosis and the thick film hybrids are not really field repairable even though it's probably just the corroded connector that needs replacing.
Hi Luis excellent video again thank you kindly. I heard you say that if the abs doesn’t work that you be able to reflash the unit can you tell me what tool do you use to reflash. Thanks Luis. O I often get my kid to pump brake pedal. I think it goes pump. Hold it and pump again there very handy when stuck doing brake job not to say 10 or 15 quid afterwards
Yet again another great video! Keep them coming! I’m a mechanic and these really help!

I have tried 3 new abs pumps with zero luck! Any ideas what I could start looking for? All same lights on
You need to scan the car, test and check...
Same lights doesn't mean the same problem...
Have you scanned the car and checked live data?
👍👍👍
morning luis happy new year to you and the family ps dont push baby in the corner

Yes... needs the calibration of the ESP sensors...

@@LMAutoRepairs thanks so much, literally just DIY my car lol, thanks to you!
Why you did not bypass the unit for testing? In and out cans jump and if that was end point, then terminate the end
Guess could have looked into that...☺️

I would have tried to program it using SPS...
But that would probably fail as the unit was from a Citroen, as I mentioned...
