At this time of year I'm doing at least 2 or 3 a month of these. Idiots with flat batteries keep cranking and cause 90% of the problems. The other 10% is the oil pressure switch forcing oil in to the ECU and cabbaging it - that's another story. As soon as you see these codes check the VINs and ECUs present to make sure some clown hasn't been messing about. Check security wait times in each module. Reset ECU. Reset BCM. Go to immo and install both at once. Hopefully that will succeed. If not do the BCM first then the ECU. Sometimes you have to delete keys and reprogram. Mostly you have to reset and reprogram SRS and cluster. Clusters are very finicky about battery voltage. Always program with maintainer at 13v. I did one last week and everything had been reset, no ECUs present. BCM had been scrambled so I had to reflash the MCU and EEPROM. Joyous job. And the customer didn't want to put a battery on it either. Sent him in his way. He will be back and have to pay again. You can't put it where it isn't.
☺️ I do it not too often... and every time I forgot how is actually done, and need to refresh myself of the steps...🤣 Yes... low batteries causes such a mess... Thank you for watching and for your comment!
Morning Luis! Sorry I’m late to the party and pleased to see that you have managed to resolve the engine ecu issue. I sincerely hope the person who initially tackled and abandoned the work watches your video and learns a vital lesson on troubleshooting and perhaps fixing an issue without incurring further costs ie a used ecu. 😊
Oh the old black tape trick 😂😂 if onky people knew what they were dong . Big thsnks to you sucessfulky diagnosed and fixed a 2013 modeo 😅 today with a parking aid issue was the speaker behind instrument panel your galaxy video helped 😊
Mine does the same when turn key just a click and doesn't turn over and ive got the spanner flashing, new battery aswell but who do you get to do codes? is it any mechanic nowadays or specialist ones only
please...just to ask you...I have a Meriva...2010...can you tell me if your scanner can be useful to check CAN BUS and codes...please thank you for you orientation and clear exposition....😊
Vaux or Op-com is the same thing... I have a couple of different versions, not sure which one I was using... but you can try and see which one works... 👍👍👍
Not sure your maxisys have subscription or not but it is dead slow compared by updated and valid subscription unit. Should scan all the modules on same time and about 10-15 seconds only. No, I do not mean newer maxisys version, still old stuff. It is able to work much faster
luis, what firmware version do you have on your Op-Com, I need to program a new immo key for my 2014 Vauxhall\ opal Corsa D, come across loads but they are mostly v1.99 which everyone says don't work.
@LMAutoRepairs only scanned with a autel scanner shows int fault with bcm at rear could this be causing a non start? I've ordered SSD will try reading BCM with that if I can get it working otherwise are you able to help out? Thanks.
@krishnadhorasoo4160 If there is no communications with the BCM, SSD will not do anything... Where exactly are you getting that internal fault? Are you able to communicate with the module or not?
@LMAutoRepairs I'm not sure I had someone come round to diagnose it. It had fault codes u3000-49 and u1000-00. I'll have to wait when I get SSD installed to try myself
Hello. Not sure if its ok to ask questions herr, but a have a strange issue. Same car as the video. In opcom when i try to reset the ecu i put in the security code and i get «incorrect Security code», but on bcm and every were else i input the same code and the code is correct. Have you had this problem before? Would really apreciate an response if you have the time 😢
Lol That was probably already active, just showing inactive for some reason... Some versions of Op-com can behave erratically on certain models... always worth try different versions... How much time is it set to?

Looks like the common fault with the Corsa D Bcm corrupting After a flat battery. Needs reprogramming and software update to stop it happening again
👍👍👍
Hi, great job. Ever had any experience with a Meriva Immobilizer faults and mileage rolling back every 40 starts?
No... not really...
Warning is probably ice /temp warning

What was the problem
Good morning I have this issue on my Corsa, I have autel but can’t seem to do it, what vaux com do you use?
Vaux or Op-com is the same thing... I have a couple of different versions, not sure which one I was using... but you can try and see which one works...

@@LMAutoRepairs thanks for your reply, could you find out with one you used as I’m desperate to get me car going, thank you

@@LMAutoRepairsI have autel can it be done through this? Thank you for your help
@bradleythomson6760
For some reason I always struggled to do it with the Autel... but you can always give it a try...

And yes, my subscription is expired...

Hi louis i need your help i have a jaguar xf cranks but doesnt start has internal fault with rear bcm. Could you repair or look into this pls thanks.
Hi
I am guessing you can scan the rear BCM... is that correct?
