What i would have done is first a global scan with a tool that can pull all correct codes like opcom or the GM-tech-2 as that flashing light as far as i know also flashes for automatic transmission faults. Like the implausible torque converter speed codes i had in transmission set by faulty ignition module... on astra z18-xe . That is all i can add for extra tip. Best to always run global scan with a factory level scanner first if possible.
well done Luis people seem to forget you work too jobs and are burning the candle at both ends i would put that down to tiredness i would say the autel would have done it two if you selected the right program. good job you got it fixed in the end that,s all that matters. thanks for sharing
Disconnect negative battery terminal then touch it to the live for 15 seconds then reconnect negative terminal then car will start Thank me later It worked for me and none of these half hour vids to contend with
With MaxiSys You just needed go to programming and then "Programming transponder-key". You enter PIN and vuolia :) 1 minute job. Anyway, allways super videos and I watch it with cofee! Keep going!
Great tutorial!!! I tried to repair my Corsa D with the same problem, by following the exact steps, but unfortunately, I stumbbled at connecting the IPC and ECU. I can't get in the IPC modul to do the programming. The error message in the lower left corner says: ECU doesn't respond... What should I be looking for? To check installation? Fuses.... I saw somewhere that the SDM (or airbag ECU) can be defective (it is under the gear lever where accidentally you can spill some liquid kept in the cup tray ), and that's for the false information about ECU doesn't respond. Thanks for replying
Hoping i can get a question answered quite quickly, good video! Doing self repair fix on my vauxhall corsa d sxi 2008 plate, most likely the passenger door or just the constant closing and opening doors in the car for tools, as self repairing … i noticed the light in the interior of the car stopped coming on, went back to it 5 mins later noticing just the mini screen of the dashboard which is a clock and radio light illuminating, my question is i know i have an imobilliser in my car, and apparently my car has battery discharge protection, now how do i charge my battery as apparently jump starting my model of car seems to trigger mobilliser from based research, the car will not turn on, no light on dashboard at all, does my car have a safety feature to prevent my battery from going completely flat ? I dont want to trigger mobilliser .. any answers thanks Side note: my cars mobilliser triggered few weeks ago, and my car was reprogrammed, so does this prevent this issue fron happening again
Hi Some cars are designed to disable certain systems if the battery starts to get to low, bug if you leave the car for too long, there is a drain, or the battery is bad, the battery will discharge completely regardless... There is an update for the BCM to prevent the corruption of the data if the battery gets low, if yours have been definitely updated there is a good chance that that will not happen again, that said, low battery is always a no no... To replace the battery, just disconnect the old one and install the new one... that's all... 👍👍👍

Hello L M, i have a corsa B which my daughter broke in an accident. She crashed the car inte the back of another car at a speed of around 30 km/h. Without placing the key in the ignition, three lights lit: oil symbol (red), batteri symbol (red) and engine (orange). The batteri drains very fast. It drops from fully charged 13.6 volts to under 12.5 volts in only five minutes. After every try i disconnect the battery and recharge it for the next try. The car cranked the second day after the accident but it doesn’t any more. It seems that disconnecting, recharging and then reconnecting the battery burns or damages new elctrical parts (relays?) every time i try to start the car with fully recharged battery. Could you please help me with following questions? - is it the immobilizer that has to be reprogrammed? - do relays break at collision? - i could perhaps stop or minimize battery drainage by pulling out fuses for wipers, headlights, brake lights and one or two other things that still power from the battery but is that because of the immobilizer? - what diagnostic equipment would you suggest me to buy? Thank you for your help.

Good video as always. Shame you didn't use opcom from the start as its something most people have. Also if you have this problem in the future on any Vauxhalls, something to try is to disconnect the negative battery cable and touch it to the positive terminal for a few seconds. @@liviu2004 That's good to know... some makers you can't do it... once a transponder is programmed, you can't do it again... at least under normal circumstances... 👍
Correct me if I'm wrong, the security code that is entered before the reset is the one stored in the unit itself, after programming it learn the pin stored in bcm? so if u have a 2nd hand unit u have to know the pin of the 2nd hand unit for reset? if i dont have pin op-com can read the pin stored in the ecu?
In this case the pin code is the same all the way long... as is the pin from the car.. If you want to install a second hand module, yes, you need the original pin from the module to reset, and then the pin from the car is going to be installed on... Thank you for watching and for your comment!
Thank u so much for this great video, it really helps alot. I followed all the step and it went well until I came to IPC Programming, it does not accept the code, what could be the problem? Im from South Africa.
Hi Louis! You are very cleverly trained to work with Opel. A lot of these cars are next to you. Really need to reset all all the blocks? BCM and ECU is not enough? Is there a need for a reset of SDM and IPC? I look with interest, Denis!
It's not so much the pin in each module that gets screwed it's the environment identifiers. Sometimes you can get the car to start just by programming a couple of modules but mostly you need to reset each module and reprogram so you are 100% that everything is matched.
Hi Possibly... Airbag on these are also part of the immobiliser system... So, to make sure all the environment identifiers match, better to just do them all... only a couple minutes extra... Thank you for watching and for your comment! 👍👍👍
12:37 the last thing you want to do on such a problem, is to reset ECU and reset BCM in the same time, forbidden to be done by OPEL Technical Service Bulletin.

To prevent this problem from happening again, you need to update the BCM software to an Opel/Vauxhall dealer.

Hi Christopher, does it matter which order you reset these in? From what ive read its BCM followed by SDM and then IPC..?
@@willd4111 hi my friend usually its IPC then BCM then AirBag but sometimes you can get away with just reseting BCM reprogram transponder then reprogram bcm to immoblisher then clear fault codes and turn ignition off for 30seconds
I have ever start whit reset bcm and reset IPC. Installed new body+ecm in opcom. Tomorrow have a corsa D whit p1632 and p1678 p1679 replaced battery and starter. You think it's not transponder broken?
What i would have done is first a global scan with a tool that can pull all correct codes like opcom or the GM-tech-2 as that flashing light as far as i know also flashes for automatic transmission faults. Like the implausible torque converter speed codes i had in transmission set by faulty ignition module... on astra z18-xe . That is all i can add for extra tip. Best to always run global scan with a factory level scanner first if possible.

I dont want to trigger mobilliser .. any answers thanks
Side note: my cars mobilliser triggered few weeks ago, and my car was reprogrammed, so does this prevent this issue fron happening again
Hi
Some cars are designed to disable certain systems if the battery starts to get to low, bug if you leave the car for too long, there is a drain, or the battery is bad, the battery will discharge completely regardless...
There is an update for the BCM to prevent the corruption of the data if the battery gets low, if yours have been definitely updated there is a good chance that that will not happen again, that said, low battery is always a no no...
To replace the battery, just disconnect the old one and install the new one... that's all...

Thank you for watching!
Nice job sir I ask which software use to programming can you tell me plz
OP-com...
Thank you for watching!
Thanks man!!! From Siberia

@@LMAutoRepairs Thank You for answer, great job!
Hi
Possibly... Airbag on these are also part of the immobiliser system...
So, to make sure all the environment identifiers match, better to just do them all... only a couple minutes extra...

I understood your answers! Thanks!
Excellent amount of information Keep it Up
Will do my best...😉
Thanks!
12:37 the last thing you want to do on such a problem, is to reset ECU and reset BCM in the same time, forbidden to be done by OPEL Technical Service Bulletin.
I am sure all modules were blank/reset at some point...
But I know what you mean....
Thanks!
Why?
Thanks a lot for this tuto, works perfectly for me.
Thanks!

HI it's a grazy job [where you have got the pin code?]
The car had the security card with it...
But the Maxisys can actually retrieve the pin code on the Corsa D...
