Nice! By the way, if you contact Amazon on live help and tell them the tablet is for your kids and you find ads for slot-machine, and other apps inappropriate, they'll shut them off. For free. No questions asked.
There are also ways to completely remove the Amazon apps and ads if you're a bit more tech savvy. Search the specific model of Amazon fire tablet on xda developers and you should find something. I did that to a tablet and just side load the apks I want to run on it and use it as a gauge display in a car now.
I needed this! I have an Asus laptop running Windows 10 but id rather use a tablet! I just want my 4L60E auto to be tighter? My AFR could be richer with rhe CAI and mace engineering plenum spacer and and manifold spacer? Ported and polished throttle body made the ecotec jumpy and i just wanted to smooth it out a little? Subbed and liked 👍 cheers from Australia
@@PeteS160plus Hey man I have the OBDlink LX, LS Droid on my tablet and TunerPro, on my PC, I can't get LSDroid to do anything other than show a page detailing updates, but the link works good, I can read and clear codes, see gauges etc. How can I get a bin file to edit saved to my tablet? Do I need another app or something? Tablet has a wifi connection when I use it to scan the vehicle. I need to kill vats on two trucks, and turn off rear O2s and EGR on another swapped into a 76 C10. Getting around tunerpro is no problem, getting the bin file to my tablet is. I don't want to spend the coin on HPT because all I am doing is swapping new stuff into old stuff. I build my PCs so its not like I'm a boomer trying to set the clock on a VCR.. heh...
@@PeteS160plus nothing happens when I tap it. I'll do the windows fix all and restart the tablet. Thanks for letting me know its supposed to do something. :) I'll get back to you
@@PeteS160plus still doesn't work on the tablet, doesn't work on my phone either, but it takes me to the pcm os number and stops there. Pulled the fuses and still nothing
@PeteS160plus do you know what the minimum android OS required is to run your LSdroid and TunerPro? Thank you for your hard work. I really appreciate that you are willing to share this with us.
Ls Droid will only work ideally on 7.0 and up. It works decent with 6.0, anything below that is very hit or miss depending on device. Tuner Pro is used on a PC so in this case the min requirements of TeamViewer are what you would need to look at.
Those Parameter comments down at the bottom of the screen, I'am guessing those are part of the individual XDF files and not a part of Tuner Pro? Noob here tuning an 0411 and it seems they're not too many XDF files for these PCMs.
Thanks Pete! Ive made a bench harness, bought an obdlink lx, and have been wondering the best tablet to order to try lsdroid for the first time. May be a dumb question. Can I buy an android laptop(is that a thing?) instead of a tablet, adapter, keyboard and mouse? If so, what memory or speed is needed? I’m guessing that’s why teamviewer is used to jump of a desktop.
TeamViewer is used because tunerpro is a PC application. He uses TeamViewer to access the files you could also hook your device in to your PC through a USB pull the bin file from the device and modify it then put that file back onto said device.
I've been trying to tune to tune my 2004 pontiac Grand Am GT any kind of free tunable software that I can find with no luck to get a bin file. I'm using VCX Nano in my endeavors if there's anyone out there that can help guide me in a way or do it for me I'd i'd be so happy. Someone must know someone on here to help. i'm not talking mapping or any kind of fuel ignition all I want is simple things like turn the temperature down when my radiator fans kick on. if I could do more that would be wonderful And as and at the current time PCM hammer was a hope but it failed because it's only for an LC1 engine. I also wanna know if it matters if the PCM is on a bench or if it's inside the car because I tried it in the car I haven't made a bench tuning apparatus yet. so if anyone out there can help me or point me in the right direction or Ask a friend I would be much appreciative thank you.

With ls droid on windows.. you don’t have to do all the Android stuff correct??
