Dr. Neal Guymon, can you do a series on existing, emerging and upcoming Variable Focus eyeglass technologies (manual and/or automatic)?
Progressives make me seasick and I think I'll have to resign myself to 3 different pairs of bifocals: one for driving to see the road (infinity) and my dash (~14")... and another for working to see my computer screen (~20") and my phone (6-8"). A third is used to do detail work on my fingernails (3-4"), shaving and for macro vision of tiny details (1-2") when I'm working or studying things. I currently carry 2 pair around my neck and a third at my computer. I'm constantly switching them or stacking them. HELP!
At this point, even some steampunk glasses with flipping lenses up and down would be worth it.
How do you get them to take the drops in the office? My 10 year old is going to have a pupil dilated eye exam and completely freaks out at the thought of eye drops.
