Peter denied Jesus , primarily because he was fearful for his own life.... pride and self protection He did not fully understand that Jesus was the Son of God until HE rose.

The divide between Christianity and Judaism-- read Paul. This is a very authoritative and historically accurate representation of the divide. This is directly connected to the Rabbis of the Temple who were not so popular with the populace. But this is worthy study that will help in understanding this false division between Jews and Christians.

No one regarded Jesus was the Son of God, that's why even Peter denied knowing Him. His disciples did believed He was their Messiah in the sense that they thought He will liberate them from the Romans, Luke 24:21. I think His resurrection was what changed their mind about Him, being the Son of God. If we think about it, **IF** God had so made it clear, that no Jews will doubt that Jesus is the Son of God, would the crucifixion have pushed through, with the Pharisees in accordance with the ordinance on atonement sacrifice, approving "the lamb" for the sacrifice? I couldn't imagine how the Jews who in reverence would not even say God only G-d, and L-d instead of Lord, would have even DARED think ill of Jesus much more sent Him to be crucified, how would have Isaiah 53:5-12 would have been fulfilled? That's why Jesus asked the Father to forgive them because they truly didn't know Who it was they crucified.

@@InfoArtistJK And those who now know, have believed in Jesus, some of them call themselves the Messianic Jews. And when the time set for the Gentiles is up, the two witnesses will witness to the Jews that Jesus is truly their prophesied Messiah, and they will call upon Him, and then Jesus will come back to rescue them from their enemies.

      No, The Hebrew is.
KJV (onlyism) is cult-like, and is a secondary interpretation from the Source Material.
There are even pastors that say the KJV can correct the Greek and Hebrew.
"Wait God, LET ME, CORRECT YOUR CHOSEN LANGUAGE, WITH MY ENGLISH, A BASTARDISATION OF FRENCH, LATIN, SPANISH, ETC."
KJV is a mimic of the Greek and Hebrew.
English is a poor container for the meanings.
It does a reasonable job but it's not perfect.
BUT, in God's grace and mercy He arranged for HIS Gospels and Prophets, and Law to be translated into the gentile languages so that we ALSO could hear and be saved.

@nathanielalderson9111 well said. God ultimately judges the heart. So even if one claims supremacy of KJ Bible or any so called truth, Jesus will judge. If nothing in ourselves have changed, or worst still, pride grows, I don't think one has been truly led by the Spirit.

Paul was a very brilliant Jewish scholar learning under one of the greatest Rabbi yet could not recognize the Messiah through his knowledge. Jesus had to reveal Himself to him in a supernatural way. The first thing Paul asked, who are you Lord? Jesus reminded Paul that he had been struggling against the voice of his conscience and acting aggressively against it. Same may be the state of many Jewish Rabbis, they might be struggling internally but are not prepared to let go. Paul was a person willing to let go everything for the sake of truth but this cannot be said of the many Jewish scholars of past and present.

The good news is that Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of eternal life to all who trust Him alone for salvation 💖 this means that saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.
Simply put Jesus paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past, present, and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation 💞💞💞.

@@anilkanda611 We all live within the Milky Way Galaxy, there are approximately 200 Billion stars within the Milky Way, a lot of them have planets circling them, some of those planets are just like ours.
There are two Trillion Galaxies within the observable universe.
Light travels at 186,000 miles per second, calculate the number of seconds in a year, multiply that number by 186,000 and that is the distance light travels in a light year.
Some stars are billions of light years away, when you are observing one of those stars in the sky the light you see was generated billions of years ago, you are looking into the past, yet we are assured by Christians that the universe and all the stars were created in six days, only 6,000 years ago.
Dinosaurs roamed the Earth 165 million years ago yet the creationists will tell you with a straight face that dinosaurs existed in biblical times. There is not one story in the bible which would stand up to serious scrutiny, not one lesson to be learned, but if you have a powerful preacher telling you fairy tales then it is easier to believe than to question.
Most Americans have had religion pumped into them from childhood whilst other countries are more secular and teach children to question anything that doesn't sound quite right, this is the 21st century and we all should have stopped believing fairy tales are truth by now, it's criminal to be brainwashing kids into believing stupid stories about talking snakes, miracles, a God who is watching everything they say and do and an eternity of torture in Hell.
If you have been teaching your kids this nonsense then SHAME ON YOU.

@@jdilla999 Now let's see, the bible is supposedly the word of God and the authors were inspired by God to write the truth, Well God didn't do a very good job of proof reading because there are a lot of outright lies and stories that just don't stack up.
For example, Samson was bound by ropes and as he was delivered to the Philistines he broke his bonds and grabbed a piece of bone using it as a weapon, he then set about slaughtering 1000 armed and trained Philistine soldiers by himself, this is incredible because even if he was super strong and he killed two or three it would be possible, but to believe that he was surrounded by 1000 armed men and he killed them all is just a blatant lie, maybe God helped him and if that was the case why didn't God just kill them himself and spare Samson the trouble? but apparently God didn't intervene just as he's not going to intervene if you are ever in trouble.
The jaw bone of an ass that Samson used as a weapon would have been worn out and broken after the first 100 kills and Samson would have looked like a porcupine covered with spears and arrows, how long did it take him to finish the battle? killing 1000 soldiers must have taken a long time, possibly weeks of constant battle without a rest. This old time Superman story might have been believed by people living in the dark ages but it stretches credulity to the limit today.
The story of Samson is a lie, just as the story of Jonah is a lie, he supposedly lived inside a fish for three days before being vomited up on the shore, the only fish large enough to swallow a man whole is a whale and if that happened he would have been drowned in the whales stomach almost immediately, After three days the whale swam to the shore to deposit Jonah on dry land, very convenient. If it had ejected him in deep water he would have been fish food, Oh well, blind faith covers everything.
Now let's get to Noah, if there was torrential rain for forty days and nights the sea levels around the world would hardly rise at all (Google-Physics 333 Noah’s flood) hardly enough to get the Ark afloat and there would still be plenty of dry land, The Ark floated around for the best part of a year yet there was enough food aboard to feed 500,000 animals, the animals traveled back to their own countries after the cruise finished, the story of Noah is another lie.
Now let's talk about Moses, NO let's not talk about him because his stories are more incredible and unbelievable, The tower of Babel NO, Sodom and Gomorrah NO, Jesus feeding the multitude with a handful of fish and twelve loaves of bread NO, walking on water etc. etc. NO, we should leave these fanciful stories to your common sense, Gee I'm asking a lot to expect common sense from Christians.
