Jesus spoke Aramaic, and the earliest church was in Palestine, specifically in Jerusalem, Israel. Therefore, they likely spoke Hebrew. However, by the time the New Testament was written, it was in Greek, resulting in a translation of Jesus' words before they were ever recorded. Furthermore, the New Testament that endured the longest in the church was not in Greek but in Latin. This means another translation. It remained in Latin for a thousand years before being translated into German, and from German, it was translated into English, giving us the KJV. Essentially, it's a translation of a translation of a translation of a translation of a translation. You can never translate any content into another language without losing the actual message, tone of speech, or essence. If you read the history of the transformation of languages of the Bible, you will find that almost nothing is left from the original word of God.

I have an atheist friend I talk to regularly about the Bible, and I told him ,”Hey.. I’m a new Christian, and if you have any hard questions for me, I might not know on the top of my head.. But I know I will get back to you about it, so please ask as many questions as you can.” And that was honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made. It helped me to grow my faith and connection to Jesus by digging into the word and investigating the difficult questions. And I also did digging into not only the Bible but the Quran, the Mormon Bible and the Bhagavad Gita to understand their beliefs and why following Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

Men, women and children all murdered because God told them too is a hard sell for me. Modern day humankind should aspire to be better than that God using diplomacy and mutual respect instead of murder and greed as their driving force. To acknowledge this as a holy scripture is to be wearing a blind fold or shackles of your own creation thanks to the writers. This book clearly depicts acts of murder by the Jews along with their struggles and trial throughout many years. Throughout history including the crusades people have been getting schooled in holy scriptures while carrying out crimes against humanity. Christians today also need to be better schooled in their own faith. So many are weak because they have been raised in the Social Gospel rather than the complete Bible. Even the feasts listed in Leviticus 23 point to Jesus, his substitutionary death on the cross, and his resurrection. From Genesis onward, the thread runs deeply through the Old and New Testaments. Only God could have inspired the united 66 books of the Bible and kept that thread throughout. Yes. We need relationship with Jesus but we also need to have the knowledge to defend our faith. @@yelloe Almost all modern translations are pretty close to the original word. You can get something called an interlinear bible which has the original text and the translation line by line so you can check for yourself.
You are right but First Christians use to read the old testament in GREEK , the septuagint of Alexandria city in Egypt not the hebrew one since they were Aramaic speakers with Greek influence, their entire bible was in Greek that´s why Bible is a Greek Word (τὰ βιβλία) Not a hebrew word.

One in particular over heard us talking about the Lord. He asked us if we were Christians so of course we responded with a proud yes. He laughed I asked him if there was some sort of problem. I have an atheist friend I talk to regularly about the Bible, and I told him ,”Hey.. I’m a new Christian, and if you have any hard questions for me, I might not know on the top of my head.. But I know I will get back to you about it, so please ask as many questions as you can.” And that was honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made. It helped me to grow my faith and connection to Jesus by digging into the word and investigating the difficult questions. And I also did digging into not only the Bible but the Quran, the Mormon Bible and the Bhagavad Gita to understand their beliefs and why following Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

Men, women and children all murdered because God told them too is a hard sell for me. Modern day humankind should aspire to be better than that God using diplomacy and mutual respect instead of murder and greed as their driving force. This book clearly depicts acts of murder by the Jews along with their struggles and trial throughout many years. You are right but First Christians use to read the old testament in GREEK , the septuagint of Alexandria city in Egypt not the hebrew one since they were Aramaic speakers with Greek influence, their entire bible was in Greek that´s why Bible is a Greek Word (τὰ βιβλία) Not a hebrew word.

No, Jesus made it clear that the non Jews were also to have Gods message shared with them, and God sent His promised Holy Spirit to them as well as Jews.

I lived in Morocco for a year and a half, and Turkey for nearly 2 years. I know all I need to know to understand Jesus kept the world from burning down. I genuinely don't get how some people get attracted to Christianity its one of the weakest and easiest to prove wrong ideologies. If you disagree I'd like you to enlighten me , there is absolutely not a single good argument for Christianity. I understand pagans, hindus or even some atheists but Muslims ?. With just basic knowledge of Islam and biography of the prophet any 10 year old can refute this video since all they do is straight up lying to discredit Islam.

The example of the slave trade that the video talks about is one example. Christains have ended slavery multiple types, in different centuries, in multiple countries. The first countries to end slavery (Britain and then Americia) were christain nations. Reason being that Jesus never owned one slave and told his followers to love thy neighbor.
If you want a reason that would sway most ancient peoples, it would be the promise of an afterlife, to meet loved ones again.
Most modern people convert to christanity due to spiritual reasons.
And many people have gone to great lengths to disprove the bible and have written books about their findings, both historically accuraties and biblical prophocies.

Thank you for sharing. My wife and I get our morning coffee at the local 711 at the end of our street. The owner is Muslim very nice guy most of his employees are also Muslim. One in particular over heard us talking about the Lord. He asked us if we were Christians so of course we responded with a proud yes. He laughed I asked him if there was some sort of problem. He responded with another laugh and said just remember no man can be god. So I told him you're right no man can be God, no man can put on God's being but God can do anything and he put on flesh for us! Verily, whosoever sets up partners (in worship) with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise to him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the polytheists wrong-doers there are no helpers. @@Mo_25.8 in Islam prophet isa/Yasuwa is given the respect and honour that Christianity was not able to provide, there's a whole chapter in Quran just dedicated to mother of jesus "Maryam" and jesus is the 2nd most mentioned prophet in Quran after moses, in Quran Allah says that at the time of crucification Allah protected Jesus from it and lifted him to heavens alive and placed another man who looked like him for crucification, only Allah knew if this and people though jesus was crucified.
