If your not praying that prayer at the time of your bodily death you still aren't getting into heaven. We are born in sin we live in sin and we die in sin so as soon as your done praying your living in sin again and according to the Bible no one in sin will enter the kingdom of heaven
I remember reading the book of Revelation in junior high school back in 85’, it literally scared the hell out me and I gave my life to Christ eventually when I joined the army after graduation from high school.
No fear at all…….just the realization of the consequences from living in sin that every one WILL experience no matter who you are, your last breath on earth will be your first breath in eternity and there’s only 2 places it’ll be when it’s all said and done…….heaven or hell. On the day of the Great White Throne Judgement 2 books will be opened……the book of life and the book of the dead, if you died without confessing your sins and giving your life to Jesus Christ by saying the prayer of salvation your name will not be the book of life and you’ll be cast into the lake of fire and will be tormented for all eternity where there will weeping and gnashing of teeth.

I just finished reading through revelations last night. One nugget I noticed it said was that the darkness itself was so dark that it was painful. I thought that interesting. I haven’t read it in a while so I just read it through. I’m going back to read it again and study more thoroughly. I believe things are in motion and events are taking place faster in time and more intense in severity in a global sense. Like birth pangs. Be prepared. We have the promise that a new heaven and a new Israel will come down from God. There will be no need for the sun and moon for light because God will be the light. Stay strong. It is worth it. Very interesting darkness thing. I would argue that the verse about no sun and moon is figurative, as there would be no shadows in heaven which would be disorienting and quite visually ugly. Not to mention that the whole book of Revelations is a figurative vision. (unless you take the monsters coming out of the sea literally idk)

I grew up in southwestern Virginia in a small church that preached fire and brimstone. I loved hearing the truth...and nothing but the truth. This was in the 60's. I don't hear preaching much like this anymore. Thank you for the lessons and readings.
As a 63 year old man that has been a believer since 1979 I'd like to say that the great apostle Paul never mentioned "hell" as a warning during the 30+ years of his ministry. Why? Rom.5.18,19; 11:32,36; Phil.2:8-11; Col 1:20; 1 Tim.4:10. Stop all Plutonic garbage !

He wants us to evolve with Free Will. So He teaches as so we can make our own best decisions with God as Priority. It is our choice to Choose Jesus or Satan.
How did one come up with such a conclusion, if I might query? Even Jesus ended up in hell (Acts 2:27). Was it because of any consequence of sin? Hell is just the KJV's word for the GRAVE. Check out various translations of the cited scripture.
There's thousands of examples of people getting away with nefarious actions without consequences more than likely due to not getting caught, the main thing hear is good vs evil and its obvious evil is right here all around us so as for hell I wouldn't disagree that when the Bible was written society at the time was probably as evil as ever so hell was written in as a sort of scare tactic being it's the last thing you read in the Bible and it worked until people became smarter and figured it out
So this life is not tough enough with out eternal punishment's for a finite existence. The whole concept is immoral. The Romans invented Christianity, cobbling it together from the ancient Hebrew texts to in-order to deal with a rebellious populous. They expanded the hell / enteral punishment's theme & the existence of the devil way beyond the ordinal Hebrew concepts as a populace control.
No they are not. They are simply saying there is no hell. If you choose to interpret it and contort it that is your prerogative. However as it stands to me, a consequence is something that may or may not (depending on your luck!) be dealt with within your lifetime. My heart was baptized on August 30th 2018 the day that I died. I didn't go to hell I went to heaven I saw a man with a golden aura like an ocean of gold around him. Love flowed from this being like a waterfall and you could tell that you were in the presence of the being that created love. I was accepted and told that I was not a piece of garbage that I wasn't a bad person, I was accepted. My body was not there I was in spirit so there was no pain only euphoria, love, and acceptance. I was home! It told me all those things without actually saying a word. God bless all of you in Jesus's Name please read safe out there it's getting more devilish by the day 😔 but don't lose hope because the Lord is on his way 🙏 and pretty soon we'll be raptured

You're correct! Jesus didn't paid for our sins, that's not biblical... he released us from bondage. How can Jesus paid for our sins but we still lose our salvation if we continue to sin or live a worldly life

Hell is very REAL and the Bible is literal in describing it as a place of eternal suffering and torment. I found this out the hard way as God was saving me. I had been involved in dabbling with occult practices, spirit communication in graveyards with demons (who I thought were "ghosts"). I opened doors wide open in my life for these demons to come into my home and rip my life, and the life of my family apart. We came under the torments and attacks of these demons for several years and saw things and experienced things that scared me so bad my hair literally turned white at that time. The demons shook my bed constantly, lifted me right up through my mattress, they burned me, paralyzed me, moved objects in my home, caused horrible smells of dead bodies to appear, and tormented my dreams and even pulled my spirit out of my body. They caused black mold to grow under where I slept, set my bed on fire, and destroyed every part of our lives. For years I couldn't take any pictures of myself or in my home because when I did, demons could be seen clearly in the photos, and it was horrifying! I also couldn't record video or audio without hearing them shout and threaten me. I heard the deep caverns of hell and demons that sounded off with loud roaring that sounded like their size must have made the dinosaurs look like ants. In one photo in my home, my home was just gone and in its place was the scene of a room in hell with a demon seated on a stone seat woth carved out large organ pipes and stone steps. There was a large owl demon with a rider on him carrying a bow snd arrow, and on a wall beside them was a dragon like creature clinging to the wall. I can't begin to tell all the horrors I saw, felt and smelled....but I am telling you....every word in the Bible was revealed to be TRUE. The oy thing that stopped these attacks was the name of Jesus when I cried it out. I prayed to God to help me and to begged Him to show me the truth about the things I had been doing. He led me to read His Word and gave me discernment to understand the gospel. I came under the terror of the fear of God as I came to understand that I was living in sin against a HOLY GOD and that if I died, I was going to hell. I finally knew WHY I needed a savior and how precious the gift of the cross that Jesus gave us was!!!! I sobbed in repentance and turned from my sins and begged Jesus to save me, to have mercy on me! He did and I was born again and delivered. I was made into a new creation with new desires. Christ brought new life and restoration into every place the demons had destroyed and drove the demons out of our lives. He saved me, my husband, my daughter and my son in law. Our home went from squalor and filth and weeds to being a warm, clean, welcoming home with flower gardens, vegetable gardens, fruit trees and berries. Life in all forms. He restored our marriage that had been dead for 10 years and blessed it. We are more in love than ever and now serve the Lord together and teach Sunday school at a spirit filled church. Its impossible to explain the terror of the darkness we faced and also impossible to explain the endless miracles God has brought into our lives since He saved us. It has been such a powerful transformation. God's mercy and grace SAVES. Do NOT play games with your soul. If you do not turn to Christ, you will face hell. No one is a "good person" you will never enter heaven without being born again. Believing Jesus exist isn't enough. You have to know He is the only one worthy to save you and you must turn to HIM to save you and turn from living in sin. Seek Him out before its too late. Ask Him to show you the truth...He will.

Love Jesus with all your heart and soul and you will be saved! Sins can only be forgiven by Jesus who so loved us he gave up his mortal life for us on the cross! God help us! Hell exists because The Lord says so. It's a place where all those who are truly evil go to because they were stubborn enough not to repent and change their course.

If the second death is eternal separation from God, then it can’t be eternal “life” in the lake of fire. If so, the word death has lost its meaning. The wages of sin is death, not life eternal in torment. As the teacher in the video said, “God is fair”.

It may seem eternal but it has a start and finish in time. There’s only one who is eternal and that is God and we who have eternal life in Him.

I'm in a horrible place I accepted Jesus and really believed in Him 6 years ago at least I think I did but I'm so messed up about what's true and what isn't I've not read my Bible hardly at all in 2+ years and I don't have a relationship with God I want to know and love God but sin confusion and other stuff keeps getting in the way I'm stuck no idea what to do 🙁

It begins with an earnest study of the Bible. beginning with the fundamental questions, such as: Who is God? What is His name? The Bible is not hard to understand, but it does require humility and a willingness to believe it over traditions and teachings of men.
@Mike Hill Something that has made me feel closer to God in the past is reading the Bible alone and taking notes. Even taking notes on ceremonies and actually paying attention to the ‘begets’ sections has made me feel closer to God. Listening to sermons is great and helpful, but if you never independently read the Bible, you won’t really connect with the sermons and you’ll also feel generally lost, hopeless, and empty. Read the big aloud when you can during your readings too. Good luck!

I know you are sincere but you are not familiar enough with scripture to know the truth...God is love - love may punish but never torture and especially for eternity - if that were true then Hitler was a misunderstood saint. Hell is based on the word Gehenna and that referred to the garbage dump of Jerusalem where the carcasses of animals were thrown...so either the fire consumed you or when the fire went out the worms or maggots would devour you---so hell fire is a place where the fire consumes you as stated in Isa. 66.24 ...Eze.28: 18-19 says that satan will be consumed by fire and be no more KJV..MAl. 4:1-3 says the same regarding the wicked as does PSalm 37.20....do yourself and educated favor and read the book the fire that consumes by William Edward Fudge as he addresses the challenging scriptures that speak of hell -- what is eternal are the consequences of hell fire but not the fire ---in Jer. 17:27 it says that gates of Jerusalem would burn with unquenchable fire but they are not burning today for unquenchable means the fire will not be put out until the object in the fire is consumed and turned to ashes - and unquencahble fire is what the wicked endure in Mt. 3:12 but it will go out once they are consumed...So sad, you are sincere but not educated in scripture and thereby turn people off God as a monster and some people commit suicide - others live a life of deep anxiety and insanity...Jesus said love your enemies so when did he change his mind about that - as I said - read the book. I could give you more examples if you'd like.

I had a cousin who died a Jehovah Witness. I discussed with her, before she died from cancer, not to follow them. She declined. She passed on from the disease, in blasphemy. I had a dream about her years later, begging to get out of hell.

The idea Jesus talked about Hell twice as much as He talked about Heaven is miss leading. The word count isn't really the story. Heaven might get used half as much as Hell, but grace, forgiveness , know Me, know the Father, My voice , and many more terms are also talking about Heaven. Jesus didn't pay for our sins in Hell either. He did that work on the cross. When He went to Hell during the 3 days it was to show receipts of victory not to fight another battle over sin, not to pay the price for sin.
Book of jude says: sodom and gomorrah will suffer vengence of eternal fire.....does that mean tourists can go and see a city that has been burning for thousands of years? Better than going to see great pyramids. COME ON! ETERNAL HAD DIFFERENT MEANING BACK THEN....IT MEANT A CERTAIN TIME
@@stewartbeche686 I think you and I agree. Hell is going to be perfect judgement for those sent there. It will have to have different degrees of punishment by definition. It doesn't look like God is going to be running a torture chamber forever. So the NT uses the word Gehenna in the original language. This was a place just outside Jerusalem to burn trash. The trash was burned up forever, but it isn't still burning. So Hell is a temporary place until judgement. Then the guilty will be thrown into the Lake of Fire. Again this isn't likely to be a forever place. The whole conversation about it is in the figurative language. Like death will be thrown into the lake of fire. Death isn't something that can be thrown, it is just dead. Jesus also says they will be destroyed in this lake. Destroyed has an end. The smoke might go up forever, who knows maybe later others could end up getting tossed in. Whatever the process is we know almost nothing about it. Why even have a judgement if they are going to be destroyed? I don't have that answer, but I trust Jesus will give the right judgement.
So untrue. The wages of sin is death. We were not created to be immortal. Adam & Eve ruined that gift. Some will be tormented longer than others, according to their works. But other than Satan and fallen angels, no damned human will live forever in hell. The smoke of their torment is eternal, but they aren't. But 1 minute in the Lake of Fire is too long for me!

All that matters to me is that Hell is a place where God isn't. He can not abide to be in the presence of evil. The burning and the torment don't and have never mattered to me. I have never been fearful of my God, as He is kind and loving. I have lived hell here on Earth, with the exception that my God HAS BEEN WITH ME! I have lived a life where my own mother not only hates me (because i am a male) and has actively been working in my life to make sure i never succeeded or had any joy. I know kids say that all the time, but i have specific incidences in my life that all go back to her. She, literally stole a scholarship from me by stealing my sheet music as I slept the night before the tryout. She has interfered in my marriage and divorce to the point that my own kids won't speak to me. She has lied and forced my father to beat me for over a decade then spread those lies (with the help of my sister, two aunts and a grandmother) throughout my family. I am handicapped now, and that goes back to my stolen scholarship. No, my hell has been here but my reward will last for eternity. God is good, kind, loving and caring and my time here is short. I will do His work while I am here, no matter the obstacles. The path to Hell is wide, well trodden and easy, the path to our GOD is narrow and filled with rocks and thorns and less traveled. THAT IS THE path I will walk for the rest of my days because I will get to live with God afterwards, and I pray that more will follow that path with me.
Same a church I used to attend as a kid the pastor loved to preach on hell. And he would start his sermon with I bet you all are wondering why am I preaching on hell again. Well because everyone in this church is headed there.

Your understanding of Hell is incorrect. Hades is not Hell. Death means death. Dead means dead. Destruction means destruction. Perish means perish. John 3:16 explains Hell - eternal life is found only by putting your faith in Jesus Christ and eating from the Tree of Life which is currently in Paradise. If you reject Jesus Christ you go to Hades, a place of torment, the other side of Paradise, to await final judgment. Final judgment is perishing in The Lake of Fire which is Hell.

Hell is a place of permanent separation from everything that flows from God, meaning every drop of peace, love, mercy, kindness, light, joy, happiness, grace, warmth, friendship, and safety. That list is an inexhaustible one but without God these things will all be absent and that absence will be endless.
Id like to exerpt a thought. Take/reject. Thanks. All information/matter/things is the expression of the one that knows-sees-feels-knows all: God. These 'things' (phenomena, that exist in God's unlimited POV) can never become completely separate, from his perspective - unless it never exists: no-thing)... But all things, always have existed. This includes: God's choice to induce a thing that he has full sensation and knowledge of (anything/everything) to suffer for eternity. Granted much: A very long term of punishment due? Yes. But indefinite suffering to him, is not feasible for anything (God) to endure. That is also the polar opposite of what is productive - but in so - all things are poled back to God, after some time. But atleast thats how this infinitely small mind sees.
Hell fire brings about eternal extinction to the lost. Never again to see feel taste or to be. Bible says sin and sinners will be no more. If sinners are in hell then universe still has sin and sinners.

your sermon was wonderful. I am a lost soul who reflects on God and the lord on a daily basis but still feel lost and hopeless. My mind is an angry place and I feel alone and abandoned. I know that all good things come from God and all bad things come from Satan. I pray for forgiveness and know that my heart does not want to live this way. I seek peace and seem I cant find it. I try to think of what I am doing wrong and there are moments when I realize I dont reflect on the blessings God has given me. A good job, the ability to take care of myself, the very world and its beauty we live in. Im ashamed at the fact I cant control how angry my thoughts are all of the time, and I know I would never hurt anyone other than myself...mentally but not physically and at times Im ashamed to ask Gods forgiveness because I keep doing the same things wrong over and over. So I pray I find the Lord before I die and I hope for the best. I Isolate myself because I have learned not to trust people and have thought that if I move to a cabin in the woods maybe I can reflect more on the Lord and I can find him that way but Im not certain. Pray for me and my pursuit of salvation. I know that true peace only comes from having the Lord in ones life. Thank you.
It's good to examine your heart daily! Paul said it's good to die daily. We sin daily but we must repent daily. It's not a sin to be tempted but it is to allow temptation to cause you to sin. Your thoughts of anger comes from things you know you havent wiped clean from your life. Serve others, give more, volunteer your time and you will redeem time. God Bless.
Slade----- our first need as a person is to find God and make peace with him...We find God by reading his word and prayer...but it is all a matter of faith - you believe the Gospel and in believing you become a Christian - so Christ lived a perfect life for you - so he is your substitute for righteousness and he died a perfect death for you so all your past present and future sins are atoned for and he has wiped out your guilt and punishment - there is a quote that says - the fact that you are trying to be right with God is evidence that you have rejected the atonement... so the Gospel is that God loves you - created you - became your substitute for righteousness and and paid the penalty for your transgressions...go talk to a pastor at a church - try the SDA church..

You do not know your Bible and if you did, you would know that “Hell” is nothing more than the translation from the Greek word “Tartusus” which means Hades, the grave, the dark place. Jesus tells us about the state of the dead more than 60 times in the Bible, and that, “the dead know nothing.” He also explained in great detail what happens to the righteous dead, the righteous living and the wicked in the End when Jesus returns. The precision behind all of life parallels the holiness of God. Years ago, at West Point, I learned of the catastrophe and death that could result from one lie. What is justice but full responsibility for all you've done and the consequences thereof. Hell makes sense, when one integrates these concepts, a place where you suffer to the extent that all of the full consequences of your sins warrant, not simply the immediate consequences but all of them over time.
To anybody who thinks hell is *not* just a fictional place.. how comes the jews dont have a concept for hell? It's supposed to be the same religion at its core after all. They were there first. Hell was invented after christianity split off. There is no hell. There is only sheol, a place where all dead souls go until the second coming. Then they rise to heaven, or vanish, potentially after *finite* punishment. Well, if you want to believe that. I dont. But that's what the core of your religion was once about. Before *people* added to it. Fear has always been a great tool for control :)

My closeness to the Lord is from music I listen to. I don't attend any churches (I have) but not anymore.. I felt as if they were speaking a hole different Language to me. Just as I said satan does NOT run hell. Nor can evil spirits escape and as in the movies. “I’m sending you back to hell” as the exorcist tells the demon. God created and runs hell. Once an evil spirit is sent there. It remains until judgment day.
Jesus said 'My Father's house has many mansions' and he also said that "There are many things I could tell you but you could not bear them now". The brothers of his time could not be expected to understand how reality works, and in any case, the important thing is the progression we make while we are here. God never gives up on anyone, and everyone goes to a place where they can make more progress after these bodies we wear, which are an interface with this reality. can no longer support our consciousness. We have other bodies, each one more ethereal than the last, and they interface with the higher realities. How fast we progress depends on the love in our hearts for God and our brothers and sisters, and that capacity grows through all the experiences we have right here, both good and bad (in our eyes). Everybody experiences suffering as well as joy, and this is the process which will redeem us all. As a master soul Jesus knew all this 2000 years ago, but the world was not ready to hear it then and he taught what they were capable of understanding.

There have been testimony of people with near death experiences. Some met Jesus, while others were shown hell. The way they described it was horrible. It amazes me the amount of people who believe there is no Hades. Thank you for the explanation of the lake of fire verses hell.
Actually, the rich man was in Hades. There are only two places where people are said to suffer burning in Hades. The place of burning, as Jesus said, is Gehenna, not Hades. Hades is the grave. The only othe place where burning is mentioned as taking place in Hades is in Deuteronomy 32. Deuteronomy 32:22 (KJV 1900): For a fire is kindled in mine anger, And shall burn unto the lowest hell, And shall consume the earth with her increase, And set on fire the foundations of the mountains. God's anger will burn to the lowest Hades. This passage is about judgment against Israel. The rich man is a Jew and represents the leadership of Israel. The parable isn't about what happens to dead people. It's a parable of judgment that was about to come upon the Jewish leadership. That's why He's telling it to the Pharisees. Look at the details. The rich man was dressed in purple and fine linen. Who was dressed in purple and fine linen? The leadership. He faired sumptuously. Who faired sumptuously? The leadership. The rich man had five brothers. Who had five brothers? Levi, the tribe of the priests. The rich man called Abraham father. The Jewish leadership called Abraham their father. Look at Lazarus. He was poor. Jesus was poor. Lazarus was covered in sores Jesus was beaten before going to the cross, thus He was covered with sores. The Dogs licked Lazarus' sores. The Jews rejected Jesus, the gentiles (called dogs by the Jews) accepted Him. Lazarus was carried away by angels. Jesus was carried away by angels. The rich man who thought he was heir to the Kingdom is cast out while the promised seed is in Abraham's embrace. Remember, Jesus said to the Jews, you will see people coming from the east and west sitting with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, but the children of the kingdom will be cast out. That's what we see in this parable. The details tell the story of this parable and it's not about what happens to people when they die.
I only wish there were other pastors who gave us all the untampered word of God and the analogies and descriptive breakdowns that you do Pastor Allen. You remove the barrier for those who have a tough time deciphering what the Lord means in his scripture and parables and we thank you for the effort that you put forth to do so. I remember when an old friend asked me to come over to help her out because two jehovahs witnesses were trying to convert her. Being well versed in scripture, I entered the discussion. Everything that they threw at me was fruitless because I have the curious property of being able to quote scripture from memory. After 1 hour and 15 minutes, they finally just gave up. Disgruntled and angry, they left.
Please pray for me back. I was born again and fine and went back to some bad sins after being rebaptize. I wasn't suppose to do this and sins FOOLISH. I Wasn't right to get back in sins and play and go on this long. I feel I blasted. I don't want hell or stay body broken an NASTY PLAYING...
@@TriciaPerry-ef7bi, The only solution I have is start reading the Bible. Along with that, sing Christian songs, talk to Christian friends, ( not fake christians) then start memorizing scripture. If you do these things, you'll be too busy to go and sin. And finally, be careful of the friends you keep. Fake friends can drag you or anyone else down quicker than dropping out of an airplane.
The Lord took me to hell years back! It is horrible! I then went to a tunnel and I saw Jesus! I asked him why I went to Hell wasn’t I good to you? He said my Daughter, I put you there so you tell my children what it’s like! It was real not in my head!
Even thinking Jesus designed hell bothers me. But i guess i will understand hell when i reason spiritually on shedding d flesh. I remember reading the book of Revelation in junior high school back in 85’, it literally scared the hell out me and I gave my life to Christ eventually when I joined the army after graduation from high school.

No fear at all…….just the realization of the consequences from living in sin that every one WILL experience no matter who you are, your last breath on earth will be your first breath in eternity and there’s only 2 places it’ll be when it’s all said and done…….heaven or hell.
On the day of the Great White Throne Judgement 2 books will be opened……the book of life and the book of the dead, if you died without confessing your sins and giving your life to Jesus Christ by saying the prayer of salvation your name will not be the book of life and you’ll be cast into the lake of fire and will be tormented for all eternity where there will weeping and gnashing of teeth.

I just finished reading through revelations last night. One nugget I noticed it said was that the darkness itself was so dark that it was painful. I thought that interesting. I haven’t read it in a while so I just read it through. I’m going back to read it again and study more thoroughly. I believe things are in motion and events are taking place faster in time and more intense in severity in a global sense. Like birth pangs. Be prepared. We have the promise that a new heaven and a new Israel will come down from God. There will be no need for the sun and moon for light because God will be the light. Stay strong. It is worth it. The moon doesn't provide light only stars like our own sun does. The moon reflects light from the sun but it doesn't produce it.
Very interesting darkness thing. I would argue that the verse about no sun and moon is figurative, as there would be no shadows in heaven which would be disorienting and quite visually ugly. Not to mention that the whole book of Revelations is a figurative vision. (unless you take the monsters coming out of the sea literally idk)

There's thousands of examples of people getting away with nefarious actions without consequences more than likely due to not getting caught, the main thing hear is good vs evil and its obvious evil is right here all around us so as for hell I wouldn't disagree that when the Bible was written society at the time was probably as evil as ever so hell was written in as a sort of scare tactic being it's the last thing you read in the Bible and it worked until people became smarter and figured it out
So this life is not tough enough with out eternal punishment's for a finite existence. The whole concept is immoral. The Romans invented Christianity, cobbling it together from the ancient Hebrew texts to in-order to deal with a rebellious populous. They expanded the hell / enteral punishment's theme & the existence of the devil way beyond the ordinal Hebrew concepts as a populace control.
No they are not. They are simply saying there is no hell. If you choose to interpret it and contort it that is your prerogative. However as it stands to me, a consequence is something that may or may not (depending on your luck!) be dealt with within your lifetime. My heart was baptized on August 30th 2018 the day that I died. I didn't go to hell I went to heaven I saw a man with a golden aura like an ocean of gold around him. Love flowed from this being like a waterfall and you could tell that you were in the presence of the being that created love. I was accepted and told that I was not a piece of garbage that I wasn't a bad person, I was accepted. My body was not there I was in spirit so there was no pain only euphoria, love, and acceptance. I was home! It told me all those things without actually saying a word. God bless all of you in Jesus's Name please read safe out there it's getting more devilish by the day 😔 but don't lose hope because the Lord is on his way 🙏 and pretty soon we'll be raptured

I can tell you all you need to know abought hell, it does not exist, pretty simple. Now live your life to the fullest and quit believing in fairy tales.
Hell is very REAL and the Bible is literal in describing it as a place of eternal suffering and torment. I found this out the hard way as God was saving me. I had been involved in dabbling with occult practices, spirit communication in graveyards with demons (who I thought were "ghosts"). I opened doors wide open in my life for these demons to come into my home and rip my life, and the life of my family apart. We came under the torments and attacks of these demons for several years and saw things and experienced things that scared me so bad my hair literally turned white at that time. The demons shook my bed constantly, lifted me right up through my mattress, they burned me, paralyzed me, moved objects in my home, caused horrible smells of dead bodies to appear, and tormented my dreams and even pulled my spirit out of my body. They caused black mold to grow under where I slept, set my bed on fire, and destroyed every part of our lives. For years I couldn't take any pictures of myself or in my home because when I did, demons could be seen clearly in the photos, and it was horrifying! I also couldn't record video or audio without hearing them shout and threaten me. I heard the deep caverns of hell and demons that sounded off with loud roaring that sounded like their size must have made the dinosaurs look like ants. In one photo in my home, my home was just gone and in its place was the scene of a room in hell with a demon seated on a stone seat woth carved out large organ pipes and stone steps. There was a large owl demon with a rider on him carrying a bow snd arrow, and on a wall beside them was a dragon like creature clinging to the wall. I can't begin to tell all the horrors I saw, felt and smelled....but I am telling you....every word in the Bible was revealed to be TRUE. The oy thing that stopped these attacks was the name of Jesus when I cried it out. I prayed to God to help me and to begged Him to show me the truth about the things I had been doing. He led me to read His Word and gave me discernment to understand the gospel. I came under the terror of the fear of God as I came to understand that I was living in sin against a HOLY GOD and that if I died, I was going to hell. I finally knew WHY I needed a savior and how precious the gift of the cross that Jesus gave us was!!!! I sobbed in repentance and turned from my sins and begged Jesus to save me, to have mercy on me! He did and I was born again and delivered. I was made into a new creation with new desires. Christ brought new life and restoration into every place the demons had destroyed and drove the demons out of our lives. He saved me, my husband, my daughter and my son in law. Our home went from squalor and filth and weeds to being a warm, clean, welcoming home with flower gardens, vegetable gardens, fruit trees and berries. Life in all forms. He restored our marriage that had been dead for 10 years and blessed it. We are more in love than ever and now serve the Lord together and teach Sunday school at a spirit filled church. Its impossible to explain the terror of the darkness we faced and also impossible to explain the endless miracles God has brought into our lives since He saved us. It has been such a powerful transformation. God's mercy and grace SAVES. Do NOT play games with your soul. If you do not turn to Christ, you will face hell. No one is a "good person" you will never enter heaven without being born again. Believing Jesus exist isn't enough. You have to know He is the only one worthy to save you and you must turn to HIM to save you and turn from living in sin. Seek Him out before its too late. Ask Him to show you the truth...He will.

Eternal and forever are two different concepts.
The only thing eternal is God, the source of life. If the second death is eternal separation from God, then it can’t be eternal “life” in the lake of fire. If so, the word death has lost its meaning.
The wages of sin is death, not life eternal in torment.

I'm in a horrible place I accepted Jesus and really believed in Him 6 years ago at least I think I did but I'm so messed up about what's true and what isn't I've not read my Bible hardly at all in 2+ years and I don't have a relationship with God I want to know and love God but sin confusion and other stuff keeps getting in the way I'm stuck no idea what to do 🙁

It begins with an earnest study of the Bible. beginning with the fundamental questions, such as: Who is God? What is His name? The Bible is not hard to understand, but it does require humility and a willingness to believe it over traditions and teachings of men.

@Mike Hill Something that has made me feel closer to God in the past is reading the Bible alone and taking notes. Even taking notes on ceremonies and actually paying attention to the ‘begets’ sections has made me feel closer to God.
Listening to sermons is great and helpful, but if you never independently read the Bible, you won’t really connect with the sermons and you’ll also feel generally lost, hopeless, and empty. Read the big aloud when you can during your readings too. Good luck!

I know you are sincere but you are not familiar enough with scripture to know the truth...God is love - love may punish but never torture and especially for eternity - if that were true then Hitler was a misunderstood saint. Hell is based on the word Gehenna and that referred to the garbage dump of Jerusalem where the carcasses of animals were thrown...so either the fire consumed you or when the fire went out the worms or maggots would devour you---so hell fire is a place where the fire consumes you as stated in Isa. 66.24 ...Eze.28: 18-19 says that satan will be consumed by fire and be no more KJV..MAl. 4:1-3 says the same regarding the wicked as does PSalm 37.20....do yourself and educated favor and read the book the fire that consumes by William Edward Fudge as he addresses the challenging scriptures that speak of hell -- what is eternal are the consequences of hell fire but not the fire ---in Jer. 17:27 it says that gates of Jerusalem would burn with unquenchable fire but they are not burning today for unquenchable means the fire will not be put out until the object in the fire is consumed and turned to ashes - and unquencahble fire is what the wicked endure in Mt. 3:12 but it will go out once they are consumed...So sad, you are sincere but not educated in scripture and thereby turn people off God as a monster and some people commit suicide - others live a life of deep anxiety and insanity...Jesus said love your enemies so when did he change his mind about that - as I said - read the book. I could give you more examples if you'd like.

I had a cousin who died a Jehovah Witness. I discussed with her, before she died from cancer, not to follow them. She declined. She passed on from the disease, in blasphemy. I had a dream about her years later, begging to get out of hell.

The idea Jesus talked about Hell twice as much as He talked about Heaven is miss leading.
The word count isn't really the story. Heaven might get used half as much as Hell, but grace, forgiveness , know Me, know the Father, My voice , and many more terms are also talking about Heaven. Jesus didn't pay for our sins in Hell either. He did that work on the cross. When He went to Hell during the 3 days it was to show receipts of victory not to fight another battle over sin, not to pay the price for sin.

@@stewartbeche686 I think you and I agree. Hell is going to be perfect judgement for those sent there. It will have to have different degrees of punishment by definition. It doesn't look like God is going to be running a torture chamber forever.
So the NT uses the word Gehenna in the original language. This was a place just outside Jerusalem to burn trash. The trash was burned up forever, but it isn't still burning.
So Hell is a temporary place until judgement. Then the guilty will be thrown into the Lake of Fire. Again this isn't likely to be a forever place. The whole conversation about it is in the figurative language. Like death will be thrown into the lake of fire. Death isn't something that can be thrown, it is just dead. Jesus also says they will be destroyed in this lake. Destroyed has an end. The smoke might go up forever, who knows maybe later others could end up getting tossed in.
Whatever the process is we know almost nothing about it. Why even have a judgement if they are going to be destroyed? I don't have that answer, but I trust Jesus will give the right judgement.

But other than Satan and fallen angels, no damned human will live forever in hell. The smoke of their torment is eternal, but they aren't. But 1 minute in the Lake of Fire is too long for me!

All that matters to me is that Hell is a place where God isn't. He can not abide to be in the presence of evil. The burning and the torment don't and have never mattered to me. I have never been fearful of my God, as He is kind and loving. I have lived hell here on Earth, with the exception that my God HAS BEEN WITH ME! I have lived a life where my own mother not only hates me (because i am a male) and has actively been working in my life to make sure i never succeeded or had any joy. I know kids say that all the time, but i have specific incidences in my life that all go back to her. She, literally stole a scholarship from me by stealing my sheet music as I slept the night before the tryout. She has interfered in my marriage and divorce to the point that my own kids won't speak to me. She has lied and forced my father to beat me for over a decade then spread those lies (with the help of my sister, two aunts and a grandmother) throughout my family. I am handicapped now, and that goes back to my stolen scholarship.
No, my hell has been here but my reward will last for eternity.
God is good, kind, loving and caring and my time here is short. I will do His work while I am here, no matter the obstacles. The path to Hell is wide, well trodden and easy, the path to our GOD is narrow and filled with rocks and thorns and less traveled. THAT IS THE path I will walk for the rest of my days because I will get to live with God afterwards, and I pray that more will follow that path with me.

John 3:16 explains Hell - eternal life is found only by putting your faith in Jesus Christ and eating from the Tree of Life which is currently in Paradise. If you reject Jesus Christ you go to Hades, a place of torment, the other side of Paradise, to await final judgment. Final judgment is perishing in The Lake of Fire which is Hell.
We in Christ have so much to look forward to! The catching up could happen at any time now Aka rapturo. All prophecies have come into fruition…the third temple is about to be built, we already have wars and rumors of wars, pestilence and plagues, increased earthquake in diverse places, the rise of lawlessness, famine and even famine predicted within one year in the USA, weather anomalies where there is flooding in some places and drought in other places, volcanoes and sinkholes, the love of many has grown cold the spirit of divisive Ness and self idolatry boasting and pride. The cost of everything is skyrocketing and we know Jesus Christ told us to look up because our redemption draws near when we see all these things. HE is coming for HIS people very very soon. Hell is a place of permanent separation from everything that flows from God, meaning every drop of peace, love, mercy, kindness, light, joy, happiness, grace, warmth, friendship, and safety. That list is an inexhaustible one but without God these things will all be absent and that absence will be endless.

All information/matter/things is the expression of the one that knows-sees-feels-knows all: God.
These 'things' (phenomena, that exist in God's unlimited POV) can never become completely separate, from his perspective - unless it never exists: no-thing)...
But all things, always have existed. This includes: God's choice to induce a thing that he has full sensation and knowledge of (anything/everything) to suffer for eternity.
Granted much: A very long term of punishment due? Yes. But indefinite suffering to him, is not feasible for anything (God) to endure. That is also the polar opposite of what is productive - but in so - all things are poled back to God, after some time.
But atleast thats how this infinitely small mind sees.
Hell fire brings about eternal extinction to the lost. Never again to see feel taste or to be. Bible says sin and sinners will be no more. If sinners are in hell then universe still has sin and sinners.

Hell is complete separation from Father God. There is a book called The Divine Revelation of Hell written by an author called Mary Kay Baxter in which she explains her experience in Hell. EXTREMELY Informative and frightening.

your sermon was wonderful. I am a lost soul who reflects on God and the lord on a daily basis but still feel lost and hopeless. My mind is an angry place and I feel alone and abandoned. I know that all good things come from God and all bad things come from Satan. I pray for forgiveness and know that my heart does not want to live this way. I seek peace and seem I cant find it. I try to think of what I am doing wrong and there are moments when I realize I dont reflect on the blessings God has given me. A good job, the ability to take care of myself, the very world and its beauty we live in. Im ashamed at the fact I cant control how angry my thoughts are all of the time, and I know I would never hurt anyone other than myself...mentally but not physically and at times Im ashamed to ask Gods forgiveness because I keep doing the same things wrong over and over. So I pray I find the Lord before I die and I hope for the best. I Isolate myself because I have learned not to trust people and have thought that if I move to a cabin in the woods maybe I can reflect more on the Lord and I can find him that way but Im not certain. Pray for me and my pursuit of salvation. I know that true peace only comes from having the Lord in ones life. Thank you.
It's good to examine your heart daily! Paul said it's good to die daily. We sin daily but we must repent daily. It's not a sin to be tempted but it is to allow temptation to cause you to sin. Your thoughts of anger comes from things you know you havent wiped clean from your life. Serve others, give more, volunteer your time and you will redeem time. God Bless.
Slade----- our first need as a person is to find God and make peace with him...We find God by reading his word and prayer...but it is all a matter of faith - you believe the Gospel and in believing you become a Christian - so Christ lived a perfect life for you - so he is your substitute for righteousness and he died a perfect death for you so all your past present and future sins are atoned for and he has wiped out your guilt and punishment - there is a quote that says - the fact that you are trying to be right with God is evidence that you have rejected the atonement... so the Gospel is that God loves you - created you - became your substitute for righteousness and and paid the penalty for your transgressions...go talk to a pastor at a church - try the SDA church..

You do not know your Bible and if you did, you would know that “Hell” is nothing more than the translation from the Greek word “Tartusus” which means Hades, the grave, the dark place. Jesus tells us about the state of the dead more than 60 times in the Bible, and that, “the dead know nothing.” He also explained in great detail what happens to the righteous dead, the righteous living and the wicked in the End when Jesus returns. You might want to study it.

The universe is perfect in a way you can't imagine. The precision behind all of life parallels the holiness of God.
Years ago, at West Point, I learned of the catastrophe and death that could result from one lie.
What is justice but full responsibility for all you've done and the consequences thereof.
Hell makes sense, when one integrates these concepts, a place where you suffer to the extent that all of the full consequences of your sins warrant, not simply the immediate consequences but all of them over time.

To anybody who thinks hell is *not* just a fictional place.. how comes the jews dont have a concept for hell? It's supposed to be the same religion at its core after all. They were there first. Hell was invented after christianity split off. There is no hell. There is only sheol, a place where all dead souls go until the second coming. Then they rise to heaven, or vanish, potentially after *finite* punishment. Well, if you want to believe that. I dont. But that's what the core of your religion was once about. Before *people* added to it. Fear has always been a great tool for control :)

My closeness to the Lord is from music I listen to. I don't attend any churches (I have) but not anymore.. I felt as if they were speaking a hole different Language to me. I would walk out of church knowing the samething that I came in with (very little). But listening to you Pastor Nolan, I understood start to finish what you were saying. And you explaining In more depth so we could understand was great. And when I received my answer to the question I've been wondering for so long I felt such relief that I just started crying. God created and runs hell. Once an evil spirit is sent there. It remains until judgment day.
Jesus said 'My Father's house has many mansions' and he also said that "There are many things I could tell you but you could not bear them now". The brothers of his time could not be expected to understand how reality works, and in any case, the important thing is the progression we make while we are here. God never gives up on anyone, and everyone goes to a place where they can make more progress after these bodies we wear, which are an interface with this reality. can no longer support our consciousness. We have other bodies, each one more ethereal than the last, and they interface with the higher realities. How fast we progress depends on the love in our hearts for God and our brothers and sisters, and that capacity grows through all the experiences we have right here, both good and bad (in our eyes). Everybody experiences suffering as well as joy, and this is the process which will redeem us all. As a master soul Jesus knew all this 2000 years ago, but the world was not ready to hear it then and he taught what they were capable of understanding.

Christine - read Jer. 17. 27 - it says gates of Jerusalem would burn with unquenchable fire - but those gates are not burning today - because unquenchable means until the object in the fire is consumed then the fire goes out ---same with Ex.21.6 it says the slave will serve his master forever but forever only means his lifetime of 70 years ...another point the Sabbath is not Sunday it is from Friday evening to Saturday evening it was changed by the RC church...so there is much you do not understand...read Ex.20 for the Sabbath as the 4th commandment and leviticus 23.32 for the time of the sabbath ....if you read the book the fire that consumes you would see that hell is annihilation for God is love
There have been testimony of people with near death experiences. Some met Jesus, while others were shown hell. The way they described it was horrible. It amazes me the amount of people who believe there is no Hades. Thank you for the explanation of the lake of fire verses hell.
Actually, the rich man was in Hades. There are only two places where people are said to suffer burning in Hades. The place of burning, as Jesus said, is Gehenna, not Hades. Hades is the grave. The only othe place where burning is mentioned as taking place in Hades is in Deuteronomy 32.
Deuteronomy 32:22 (KJV 1900): For a fire is kindled in mine anger,
And shall burn unto the lowest hell,
And shall consume the earth with her increase,
And set on fire the foundations of the mountains.
God's anger will burn to the lowest Hades. This passage is about judgment against Israel. The rich man is a Jew and represents the leadership of Israel. The parable isn't about what happens to dead people. It's a parable of judgment that was about to come upon the Jewish leadership. That's why He's telling it to the Pharisees. Look at the details. The rich man was dressed in purple and fine linen. Who was dressed in purple and fine linen? The leadership. He faired sumptuously. Who faired sumptuously? The leadership. The rich man had five brothers. Who had five brothers? Levi, the tribe of the priests. The rich man called Abraham father. The Jewish leadership called Abraham their father. Look at Lazarus. He was poor. Jesus was poor. Lazarus was covered in sores Jesus was beaten before going to the cross, thus He was covered with sores. The Dogs licked Lazarus' sores. The Jews rejected Jesus, the gentiles (called dogs by the Jews) accepted Him. Lazarus was carried away by angels. Jesus was carried away by angels. The rich man who thought he was heir to the Kingdom is cast out while the promised seed is in Abraham's embrace. Remember, Jesus said to the Jews, you will see people coming from the east and west sitting with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, but the children of the kingdom will be cast out. That's what we see in this parable. The details tell the story of this parable and it's not about what happens to people when they die.
Outer darkness - Furthest place from God. Darkest because God is light and the presence of God is so far away that's why the place is so dark.

I only wish there were other pastors who gave us all the untampered word of God and the analogies and descriptive breakdowns that you do Pastor Allen. You remove the barrier for those who have a tough time deciphering what the Lord means in his scripture and parables and we thank you for the effort that you put forth to do so. I remember when an old friend asked me to come over to help her out because two jehovahs witnesses were trying to convert her. Being well versed in scripture, I entered the discussion. Everything that they threw at me was fruitless because I have the curious property of being able to quote scripture from memory. After 1 hour and 15 minutes, they finally just gave up. Disgruntled and angry, they left.
Please pray for me back. I was born again and fine and went back to some bad sins after being rebaptize. I wasn't suppose to do this and sins FOOLISH. I Wasn't right to get back in sins and play and go on this long. I feel I blasted.

@@TriciaPerry-ef7bi, The only solution I have is start reading the Bible. Along with that, sing Christian songs, talk to Christian friends, ( not fake christians) then start memorizing scripture. If you do these things, you'll be too busy to go and sin. And finally, be careful of the friends you keep. Fake friends can drag you or anyone else down quicker than dropping out of an airplane.
The Lord took me to hell years back! It is horrible! I then went to a tunnel and I saw Jesus! I asked him why I went to Hell wasn’t I good to you? He said my Daughter, I put you there so you tell my children what it’s like! It was real not in my head!
Even thinking Jesus designed hell bothers me. But i guess i will understand hell when i reason spiritually on shedding d flesh.
