Dragon/Steel is one of the best types in the game, and Duraludon has some great moves so its definitely one of the best! Thanks for commenting, welcome to the channel😁
I think baxcalibur should be the attacking Mon that just focuses on barraging the player with hits, so I'd personally have it have loaded dice with scale shot as a stab, icicle spear as a stab, and it'll showcase the coolness of multi hit moves while of course still having glaive rush and iron head, it might sound too op but as a last gym I think it's fair as sort of a final challenge before the league
@@VeyloYT i would've given it a loaded dice and change icicle crash to icicle spear, making for a hit that deals 100-125 ice damage before both stab and other factors.
Bruh went from a balanced 1st gym to impossible levels with gym 2! Turtanator AND Gabite? Even with a water starter nobody is beating that gym without over leveling. Not to mention ice and dragon types typically aren’t found til late game. So the player is screwed
Yeah fair enough, for a harder game I’d say the player would be fine with what I gave the gyms, but of course they could be scaled back a bit in terms of movesets and items for beginner players. What do you think of that? 🤔
Your just bad at the game if you have to over level to beat a simple gym leader like it’s really not that hard you just need to get a good Pokémon and good tms that are easily found throughout the game. Plus you have the largest advantage over every gym leader: you know what type they use
@@-BenGaming- except gym leaders typically don’t use meta movesets or abilities like Veylo is suggesting. And ice and dragon type pokemon typically aren’t found til late game. You have no counter for them. Not to mention the BST of dragon types are typically higher than most 1st stage mons. But yeah continue to be a cunt because I brought up slight criticism
Pretty unique idea. Goes to show the potential Pokemon has if they integrate elements from all their games thus far into one rather than isolating them to their native games. Amazing music choices, I'm glad ur giving later gen music a shot as well, they slap.
That last team needs to be in an official Pokémon game. But not as the eighth gym. It needs to be an optional gym, located far off the map, but accessible anytime. Oh, and all of them in the mid to high 90s with the ace as a level 100 Dragonite.
Yeah that would be awesome, I totally agree. Maybe the actual eighth gym is toned down to around lvl 55, then the optional battle is absolutely maxed out at lvl 95+. Great idea, thanks for commenting and welcome to the channel! 😁
Ah, so we're going to continue the tradition of hacking Pokemon for the AI as there's no way that Hydreigon and Dragapult are legal levels by the eighth gym.
A missed opportunity was Archaludon with Stamina and leftovers. Instead of Swords Dance replace it with Body Press. Body press uses the defense stat to do damage. With an increasing defense every time Archaludon takes damage, Body Press will deal huge damage.
For sure, I considered that as an option and I guess that may have been a better move to give it! Thanks for the suggestion and welcome to the channel 😁
That’s the beauty of Pokemon, there’s so much that gamefreak could do with the trainers and stories that we never get to see! Did you enjoy the rest of the video? 😄
personally i would have light clay + dual screens along with u-turn and draco meteor on dragapult since we do have some hard hitting setup mons on the team but i understand that it would ramp up the gym's difficulty as well
That’s not a bad idea, that would have been a better setup Pokemon than Hydreigon maybe. But yeah like you said it might be too difficult if we setup the screens at the start of the battle😂
The most broken dragon team is possibly shed tail cyclizar + dual screens willow pult + set up threats like dd dnite, sd scale shot bax or nasty plot naganadel. Should probably include scarf fishious rend dracovish and for fairies maybe specs adaptability dragalge, av archaludon or goodra hisui.
The last team is my favorite but upon further analysis I realized that it has serious problems with the fairies and the ice type, being Baxcalibur the only one that could really stand up to them
That’s a good point, I tried to give some coverage moves to each Pokémon but I think it’s a good way to still give the player a chance in that final gym battle since it is going to be an extremely hard match already with such strong team members. What would you switch on the team? Thanks for commenting, welcome to the channel 😁
I like the final team, however just for the sake of type coverage i would probably swap Dragonite or Salamance for a sniper ability Kingdra or Hisuian Goodra just to add an extra type rather than having two dragon/flying types (which are both great obviously lol).
Yeah, I was considering that and I think Hisuian Goodra would have been better to deal with ice types. If I remade the team that’s a great change to make! Thanks for commenting and welcome to the channel 😁

For sure, I think those could kind of be interchangeable since they are quite similar in difficulty depending on the style of the gym leader that uses the team. Thanks for your comment, welcome to the channel! 😁
I like the usage of Rivalry Axew, specifically because of the potential of punishing players who only want to use their starter. It acts as an immediate incentive to get more team members since the starter is almost always male.
Wow I can’t believe I didn’t think of that when I made the video, I was just thinking it was Axew’s better ability but it actually made my point about being fair to all starters even more viable! Thanks for pointing that out, welcome to the channel😁
decent teams overall i think but 2nd gym makes the water starter too comfy being neutral to all 3 pokemon and gym 6 got 4 weaknesses to the fighting type so there is still some work to do

Thank you for the support! Yep I’ve already received so many comments about that mistake I can’t believe I made 😂. Good choice though, ice shard would be my revised version for sure
My 6 Pokémon team would be: Cyclizar Dragalge Flygon Tyrantrum Haxorus Mega Salamence Salamence was always my favorite mon, ever since I first laid eyes on it when I battled Drake in Sapphire when I was a kid, and Mega Evolution is my favorite mechanic that I feel was underutilized. I made it so that it's the only pseudo to really emphasize it as the team ace.
I think the Gym 3 Drampa should hold the Chople berry. Fighting types may be brought at this stage in the game, and the sitrus is counterintuitive with its ability.
Luckily berserk increases its special attack stat by one stage and remains boosted after the sitrus berry restores health, so I had it on there for Drampa to get the most out of its ability. I do like your idea though and that would be my second choice of item for Drampa. Thanks for commenting and welcome to the channel! 😁
Yeah, definitely feeling like you're making these a bit too strong, hah. I'm not sure the player will be ready to take on a Turtonator at Gym 2. The final team is literally six pseudo-legendaries with a higher base-stat total than any champion.
For sure lol, I wanted to make the teams perfect for what most more advanced players would want to see, but they could definitely be dialled back in terms of movesets and of course the AI won’t be as good in actual games depending on how much exp the player has in the actual game.
